I go to this place almost every day, even though its overpriced, because I like the people... Or I…read morethought I did. I bought two joints from them last night (yes, Bakersfield, if you care - they sell cannabis. Oops), and one was CLEARLY half the size. You can see in comparison, but as an avid buyer of these particular joints, this is half of what they usually are, and theyre already overpriced at $10. Its clear the distributors ran out of the correct size cones, and tried to get away with one half size. This also shows that Lux does not do product control. And works with a "company" that doesnt do product control. When I came in the next day to show them the difference and see if there was anything they could do, like, maybe half off another joint? I was told by the cashier "there was nothing they could do". I asked to talk to the boss, especially since i know him just to talk to him directly. Amd, Vladimir (the boss) came out, and was rude, yelled at me that there was a customer behind me, continued to repeat there was nothing they could do (which is obviously not true), and even had the gall to tell me that it was on me to open and check the joint before leaving, like its a vape or something, and hes paying me to do his product control. I couldn't believe how rude he was. Especially because weve always been friendly. I said i might just have to find another shop to go to from now on then, and he just said "okay". I'm extremely disappointed. And, it's a shame. If you go to other dispensaries, you can get 5-7 joints for $10. This place is overpriced.

Update: I called the store and asked kindly for a refund. The individual who answered said they…read morewere the one who sold me the faulty product. He was defensive about the issue for a while, but eventually told me to come in person for a replacement battery. I had already purchased a replacement the same night I bought their faulty one, so a replacement does me no good. After insisting for a refund instead, he told me I was being combative even though he offered a refund. I asked again: "if I come in person, will you issue a refund?" To which he stated it would be a replacement. I don't know what to make of this conversation. I suspect maybe this individual was under the influence of something, because he did not seem to be functional in our conversation. Just going in circles because he kept contradicting himself. If you're reading this just don't go here. It's literally a scam shop. His excuse was "oh well we have so many of these so it's hard to maintain all their charges" to which I suggested that maybe they shouldn't stock those if it is outside their capabilities to maintain the stock. This place clearly does not give a single shit about what they are selling or about customer satisfaction. I highly recommend the place called "Smoke Shop" just nearby on Niles St. as they were able to sell me a functional product and weren't fucking weirdos. To whoever owns this shop: I told the individual over the phone I would delete this review if I was refunded. That offer still stands. You pricks owe me $14.59. Imagine being so dumb and poor you gotta scam for less money than a large meal at McDonalds. Shameful.
