My family love that this park doesn't get the huge crowds of the bigger ride parks so you very rarely have to wait in line for longer than 5 minutes. You do have to realize that this is only a small place so there aren't a huge amount of rides, but there are certainly enough to keep a family entertained for the day. Plus you also have a little side show alley, a games room and mini putt golf. The gift shop has a lot to offer ( very Aussie themed naturally) and if you don't want to eat at the park ( hot dogs, nuggets, burgers, chips and salad rolls, ice creams etc ) you dont have to, you can pop next door to the Ettamogah Pub and have a meal or go to the bakery in the same little street. There are also other shops to look at ( fudge shop yum). The staff at Aussie World are always friendly too which makes for an even better experience and the park always looks clean.

Well, they have turned a section of the park into a zoo, which I have to admit is pretty cool, but it seems that the whole pineapple plantation has been removed, which is honestly a bit of a shame. As for the structure, well, it really isn't all that great, but it is still an interesting place to visit.

Accordingly, you can buy tickets for various days and combos of days. It's never too crowded, you're on grass and sand, not mud and gravel, and there's just a relaxed, family vibe. Stay nearby and you can spend the morning at the beach before hitting the festival in the arvo in perfect spring weather.

The Point is located on top of the southern hills on Point Arkwright just outside Coolum Beach. The units are large and have the bigger outside patio's as they appear to have been built in the 1990's. Be careful with your car around this complex as some parts are fairly steep. Lots of low wheelbase vehicles will 'bottom out' on the driveway to the reception area - so take care. They have spacious self-contained one, two bedroom and three bedroom holiday apartments, most with views overlooking Coolum Beach and the Pacific Ocean or the Coolum Hillsides. It's a good 15-20 minute walk to most dining and shopping in Coolum.But this is a good alternative to staying in Coolum on the main road with all that traffic noise.
