I wanted this to be my new local, but the search continues. If I were rating just the service and the space itself, it would get five stars, but the price and food take it down to three. I had a "main course" beetroot salad, which was tasty and beautifully presented, but would pass for a light starter at best. This had to be supplemented with their "famous chips", which were average chips, but shaped like tater tots. The bill for this light dinner and a cider -- £18.60. I do appreciate how accommodating they were for a vegan, but this won't be my new go-to restaurant. I might be back for drinks and board games, but probably not for food. read more
