She was so gentle with him. The classmates were all happy and playing in other areas in their stations. I work in mental health, and this shows me that when a child is struggling here, this school doesn't make a spectacle or shame them. Learning to calm down and regulate is totally normalized. This makes my mama heart so happy. Dropping off your kids to be with other people all day isn't easy, but seeing this loving kindness and support at KLC makes me feel really confident in my decision to have my kids here.

We like how Glenwood runs like a typical school -- there are school pictures, Open House, parties for the different times of the year, Scholastic book orders, and Thanksgiving meal at lunch time with parents, to give just a few examples. Over the summer, Glenwood brought in Shizzle Dizzle Magic Show and they also brought the farm to the school! It's only been four and a half months but what we've experienced thus far has been positive. Glenwood was instrumental in our son becoming potty-trained. The teachers and administrators care about their students and the curriculum is fun and age appropriate. We appreciate the level of communication we receive (daily reports of what the kids were up to, along with photos from the day), which allow us to engage in conversations with our kids when they say they "don't remember" what they did that day. We started each of our sons in intermediate class (age 3-4) and both have developed new skills, made new friends, and grown so much thanks to their teachers. We were also thrilled to learn that many of our neighbors send their kids to ECLC as well, so our boys are both entering elementary school with friends they've known for a few years.

I called and could not even hear the person on the phone. Kids/babies were screaming uncontrollably in the background. While not unusual, as kids/babies sometimes scream at the most inopportune times, this persisted throughout the call. It sounded as if no one was helping the children at all. The person answering the phone was not fluent in English. Broken English is very easy to pick up, even over the phone. I explained what I was seeking and wanted to make an appointment to visit. The woman asked me to repeat myself several times. While I initially thought it was due to the children screaming, it became obvious that she couldn't comprehend what I was asking. The woman stated that there weren't any managers there and that they would have to call me back. Really? No one in charge on site at 10:30 am on a Friday? As a parent, I usually pay attention to bad feelings about places. This place, from the start, had a very bad vibe. I'm not leaving my child at a place that doesn't have a full time staff member for administrative work and at least one manager on site. What happens when there is an emergency? Overall, I might be wrong about this place. However, I don't think so.
