The Director Reshonte Butler is rude and acts like she doesn't like her job. She is always at the front desk with her face in her lap-top and never greets anyone. The Regional Director Jennifer Slayden is just as bad if not worse. This is not a place where you want to take your kids unless you just need a room where they can stay while you work. They don't watch the kids or teach them and they always come home with mysterious bumps and bruises and when you ask the teachers no one knows what happens because they have 5 different teachers throughout the day. They lost my daughter one time after several minutes I found her in the toilet by herself. Don't be fooled by these old reviews they're from the previous owners who were a mom and pops and they cared about every single child and their families.

Yet, the management (owners) or lack of management's knowledge is the issue. They are not educators. In the more than six months that my child attended several things occurred that you should be WARNED about: 1) tuition increased $84 with no written communication. Emails were sent stating a 25 dollar increase a week. I was told that did not pertain to me no increase I was a new parent , only to find out in the portal of the increase. The director gravely resolved but the owner never responded to my request for a meeting regarding the issue. 2) No curriculum. The owner might say a team was brought in but you will never get a newsletter with academic focus for the week, no benchmark assessment or weekly activities. Lessons are on the wall but you can't have academics with inconsistent staffing. Some classes like the two years are so big you need small groups for instruction. 3) Staffing is a major issue. Some classes have consistent teachers others not so much. You will drop your child off to people you know and pick your child up to people you have never seen. Its so bad teachers in the room won't know the children's names 4) BUT THE WORST INCIDENT --- I went to drop my child off and it was 9:15. Since coming to the center the 9:00 cut off has not been implemented. I was met at the door without any communication from management and told we could not enter. I had a meeting as many other working parents, I was late. I had to take my child back home despite not being told about a policy before hand. I am not sure why you would take your child to a place that is punitive to parents --the customer. It boggles my mind that the people I pay could not have resolved an issue or implemented a policy more effectively. THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR WORKING PARENTS--- NO CURRICULUM , CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND PUNITIVE TO CLIENT. Please know my review is as a parent and early childhood professional with 3 degrees.

They treat us as family. I am very familiar with all of the teachers there and I am always welcome with a smile. I look forward to many more years with them as my grandson looks forward to going to daycare everyday and lights up when he sees, Libia, Gladys, Gracie and Ms. McConicle (hope I spelled it right). I am very very very happy with my choice to bring him here. I waited to give the relationship time to be sure I was right about trusting them with my only grandchild and I was. Mrs. Tee is nothing short of amazing and proactive with the kids at this learning center. My 2 year old son was not social at all, kind of none verbal and did not care to interact with other children and just after about going on 2 months of being here, his learning milestones and motor skills have drastically improved. He comes home saying random colors, words and singing the good morning song. He plays more well now with his peers and cousins of his age. He plays with his toys correctly now lol and walks into the learning center happily and proud and I am so appreciative of this! Mrs. Tee proactively works towards each kids needs and is very helpful with the developmental and learning skills that they need! It is like a home inside a home and the aurora around is amazing! I value this learning facility to fullest because it is just that, my son actually learns, and it is more than a daycare! 10 out of 10 I would recommend. This school along with Mrs. Tee has been God sent to me, my son & family! I was met by Assistant Director, Wanda, when I came in, and I immediately felt welcomed and at ease. She took me on a detailed tour of the entire facility. We poked our heads in all the rooms and were met by smiling, happy teachers and smiling happy kiddos. After my tour, I felt comfortable with the idea that my son would spend most of his time there. I enrolled my baby at four months. He fell in love with his teachers in the baby room, and they fell in love with him. I just can't say enough about Miss Donna, Miss Callie and Miss Jennifer. They are all the SWEETEST. My husband and I moved to Griffin, and the 25 minute commute to day care (one way) was killing our day, so we had to move our son out. I was seriously so sad to have to take him out. He would have moved into the 1 year room soon, and I loved the teacher I met in there as well. For extra warm and fuzzies, they do have cameras so you can check in on your child. When we first started, their cameras were down, so we had to kick it old school and just trust. Once the cameras were back up, I never felt like I had to check in. I knew my son was in great hands. I don't miss one single thing in Henry county except this place...oh, and Target, but honestly, that's it.
