This school is everything they said they would be! My 1 year old loves it and I feel comfortable having her spend the days there! Would highly recommend! Our kids have been attending Goddard for over 5 years now and we absolutely love it! Knowing your children are well taken care of is a blessing. We have been at this school since the beginning of the year after leaving another daycare, and we are so happy with our change! My daughter has loved going to school each day and has also flourished academically. We've seen huge strides in letter recognition and her enunciation thanks to her wonderful teacher Mr. Tim. Very friendly staff. School is very clean. We moved to Tomball from Dallas in November due to job change and I was looking for a good preschool for my daughter. Goddard was 4th school I had visited & it turned out to be great. My daughter and me was welcomed with a friendly front office staff. They did a school tour without me even scheduling for one. They introduced themselves to my daughter to make her feel comfortable & that's when I decided that this will be my daughter new preschool. Love it.. I like the structure, and who cares if the BBq catering g company is her husband's company it's not required... its optional! My son is 15 mos and has been going since he was 2 months old. Great experience overall.. There has been some turnover but that happens in daycares... The lead teachers are consistent and care deeply about the kids. The owner is great... Every time I have had a concern she has always handled it well and with true concern to fix the issue. I am a very hard judge especially when it comes to my babies (he is the youngest of 3) and i will say it's the best school in my area for sure. Always clean and organized! That's huge... read more

My husband and I absolutely LOVE the Goddard School in Tomball. Our son has attended since August 2014. He has been in both infant rooms and has ALWAYS been very well taken care of. I have been continuously amazed at how well everyone knows my child and how willing everyone is to help with anything. He is my first baby and I have called the school many times just to check up on him. I was also the crazy mom who showed up unannounced twice while I was pregnant just to see how things were ran. Ms. Terri and Ms. Sumer (as well as Ms. Esther, Ms. Marcie, and Ms. Jennifer) know my son by name and greet him everyday when we arrive and when we leave. They even know what stage of development he is in (I just called to see how he was doing with his finger food and Ms. Sumer knew right away). I wasn't going to write a review but I saw the awful review someone left and I had to put in my two cents. As far as the billing is concerned we pay twice a month (which I think is a very fair practice). I have never had any issues with billing in fact I am a teacher and will be home with my son this summer. I did not want to have him at daycare all week but I also didn't want him to miss out on the interaction with his "peers" and have to adjust to going back to school once the school year started. Ms. Terri worked with me to have him attend only two days a week and still keep his full time spot for the school year. As far as the care he received in the infant rooms I cannot complain, at all. His teachers ARE wonderful!! They send me excellent pictures all day long and he is always happy as a clam when I pick him up (as are the other babies). We thoroughly miss Ms. Susan and Ms. Mackenzie but love Ms. Maria, Ms. Marilyn and Ms. Madonna! Anyone who states that these women do not care about or take care of the babies is just out to ruin someone's reputation for their own selfish reasons. I have never picked my son up with a soiled diaper in fact a few times he has soiled his diaper while I was there picking him up and Ms. Madonna has insisted on changing him before I leave even though I said it was not necessary and I would change him when we got home, we live less than 5 minutes away. Of course, choosing a child care facility is an individual decision but please do your due diligence and don't go off the words of someone who obviously has it out for this business. read more

We had our baby there and every time we picked our chikd up she was horse from crying all day. When we go in she was sitting on the floor by herself crying. They would call us and say she's crying to come get her..guess they don't believe in holding the babies. We missed a lot of work bc they didn't know what to do if the babies cry. The last straw was when our baby got sick and they refused to give her medicine the whole week even with the drs note we were told to get...then when she would scream in pain we of course would have to get her bc they didn't know what to do. read more

I am very happy with The Goddard School in Tomball. My 2.5 yr old daughter's vocabulary has increased and she forms 3 word sentences, and can hold conversations with adults (no kidding). Ms. Jen and Ms. Wendy are just amazing and nurturing! We have tried many schools in the area since she was 18mos old, and The Goddard School is by far the best school. The curriculum in the school is that of a prep school. We lived in NY and CT and with my older daughter (who is 9 yrs old), we spent lots of money for her to go to prep schools to get a solid foundation on STEAM and problem solving. The Goddard School in Tomball implements the same concepts and approach to STEAM and problem solving just like the expensive prep schools. The owner and directors are very much involved in the school, which is very important to us as parents. I highly recommend this school! read more

Not going or referring anyone there. They don't live by their policies and they lie. It took three weeks for them to get our billing correct. Their attitude when we corrected them on it was like "Oh, it was an honest mistake. You'll get a credit." The next week, no credit. You have to watch them and stay on them to make sure they're not robbing you blind. Our child was in the infant room. The teacher ratio isn't correct. They don't interact with the babies. They let them lie in the swing all day, in their crib, or are lying on the floor. They don't follow your instructions concerning feeding schedules. They don't respect your wishes to use bibs, burp cloths, etc. Even after explaining and asking them to use them, they still don't. I don't know how many times in the two months we were there that I picked my child up in a HEAVY soaked dirty diaper, dirty face, crusty neck, formula soaked shirt. They're babies, they don't do anything, how could they possibly get that dirty? Every day I walked in they were working on them and guessing at the times, amount fed, and changing schedule. Don't trust them to administer medicine to your child. They'll do it "when they get around to it". Hopefully your child isn't on any lifesaving medication. My child was just on cold medicine and they didn't write down the times it was given. We confronted them about it, they had to guess what time. Turned out their guess was wrong. Luckily my child is an infant and won't remember what she said about me. They take pride in claiming they know each and every child by name. They don't. I have two months worth of e-mails complaining about the care and/or condition of my child. Take your business elsewhere- We ended up at KidsRKids and we like it there. read more

The Goddard School is the best. My 6 year old has attended the school since she was 4 months old. I enrolled my youngest daughter @ 3 months. The facility is very clean, they bleach everything down though out the day several times. My children are hardly ever sick compared to my friends children who attend different daycares. They make the children practice good hygiene by washing hands all the times even in the baby room each diaper change the babies get their hands washed. Each room has a colorful theme with lots of different centers to keep the children entertained. The curriculum is outstanding and gets your children ready for school. My daughter just started Kindergarten and the teacher informed me that my daughter was right where she needed to be in her knowledge and was impressed with what she learned from the Pre-K program. Summer time has lots of weekly visitors with a theme for each week. They don't go on trips - which is good in my eyes. I like the idea of knowing my child safe in school and not out and about with the chance to get separated from a group or on the road and getting into an accident. They also have a application called Tadpoles that can send pictures of your child throughout the day along with a daily report of all the things they did, food and nap reports. I can call anytime and chat with the teachers about my child's day. The owner onsite is friendly and all of the kids I have seen in the school are running up to her hugging her all the time. I have worked at daycares before and not having an owner on site meant the teachers could slack off. Knowing she is there and making rounds is a reassuring thing. In reading some of the reviews they complained about medicines, I would think you would want them to be strict on medicine and that would reassure a parent due to improper dosing or improper use of the medicine. The catering that is offered for the school lunches is a nice selection of nutritious foods and is optional. Turn over seems to be high but that is with every daycare and there are still quite a few from when they opened 6 years ago. Goddard has several standards that higher than the state standards, the lower ratio is my favorite one because that means my children get more one on one time. The requirements for a teacher to be hired there are also high. read more

I took a tour of this facility and fell in love with it's cleanliness and daily structure. I couldn't wait to sign my kids up, however; there was no space in the infant room until June 2016. I was told i could hold a spot by leaving a deposit. So i did..$150 for each kid. This was in March 2016. After returning back to work from maternity leave the next week i was laid off (oil and gas that's how it goes). So i contacted the office too let them know my kids would not be attending and what did i need to do to get my deposit back. ($300). They told me deposits were non refundable. I was shocked and even tried looking it up on their forms and found no written policy. In a matter of 3 days i was out $300 bucks. BUT OVER ALL THIS PLACE WOULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT FIT FOR.MY KIDS HAD THEY BEEN ABLE TO GO. read more

My grand daughter has attended Goddard school in Tomball for the past two years. As a former educator myself, I found the director and staff to be kind, caring, and more than willing to help their students in anyway possible. Our grand daughter had some issues that we needed help with, and they were always supportive, encouraging, and positive. Each individual child's needs are met according to his/her specific need which is so unusual to find in most preschools. They are all about what's best for the students!
