On…read moreSeptember 2nd, I went into the rental office to discuss problems from the weekend with the alarms and AC vents. At that time, I was told by the property manager that Shekinah, the general manager, would contact me. To this day, I have not received a call. The property manager also informed me that the vents in my unit would be put back up, yet they remain unreplaced despite multiple requests. This situation is unsanitary and unsafe. Roaches and Dust falls from the ceiling i have also experienced a medical emergency in the office where I suffered a seizure, from all the dust and insect from the apartment building and instead of being assisted, the staff attempted to call the police I have repeatedly asked for a resolution regarding the constant alarm disturbances and the condition of my AC vent. My apartment is not fully functional, I have asked for temporary solutions, such as being provided a hotel room or alternative arrangements, until these issues are corrected. This ongoing neglect is unacceptable. I am requesting immediate action, a clear.

Valerie Bohn was my realtor, she was recommended to my husband and i by USAA (as we are a military…read morefamily). When i originally decided to go with her over a century 21 realtor i really had a good feeling about her because she seemed to have a really good knowledge of how things worked and i really felt she was the perfect one for the job.. she seemed to the point and very professional for the first couple of weeks and i cant say i had any complaints with her. However, a few things happened towards the beginning that really gave me a bad taste in my mouth with her: 1. She claimed she didnt want to pay to have professional pictures taken of my house because she couldnt justify the cost of doing so because she felt that i was not giving her enough time to adequately list house. That was fine with me, i would pay for them, so i told her to set up for the photographer to come. before he came i asked her for his contact info because i had questions i wanted to ask (does he do touch ups, what are his rates..etc) she all but refused to give me his info and told me to ask her and she was ask him. almost like she didnt want me speaking with him directly which was a bit shady but i didnt press it. when the photographer came to my house he was very professional and thorough and took such beautiful pictures! i asked him at the end what his price was fully intending to pay him right there..however he refused to tell me and told me to go through valerie. i didnt understand this.. why am i asking her when im the one paying? it made no sense to me and gave me the initial impression that perhaps they were trying to con me as far as price went? otherwise why not just be upfront with me on the cost? seemed so shady 2. i was very clear with valerie when hiring her and told her i needed at least 2-4 hours notice before a showing ( because i was still living in the house and had a small child and needed adequate time so that i could vacate for viewings) on MULTIPLE occasions she would message me sometimes saying a agent was in the neighborhood and wanted to see the house right then. NO NOTICE. at one point i had to kick an entire party out of my house that i was hosting so i could accommodate a viewing with NO NOTICE. she kept doing this to me despite me telling her many times i was NOT ok with it! then when id tell her my reasoning she made the comment, " well do you want to sell your house or not" i felt bullied by her so many times, like she was using my desperation to sell my house as a tool to manipulate me into going against our original agreement of 2-4hour notice. valerie was BEYOND rude to me. Many times treating me like she was doing me a favor by doing her job when i was going to be paying her thousands in closing for fees. shed ignore my calls and texts and often a week or more would go by and id hear nothing from her. when i confronted her and told her i was feeling like she had no time for me and that i didnt like how things were going she responded with, "well if you want a realtor with no clients who has all the time to deal with you at a moments notice just let me know" i tried so many times to give her chances to no avail. for this reason i fired her and decided to take my business elsewhere. she may be a great realtor to other people but she was absolutely terrible to me. BEWARE take your business elsewhere

The staff is very friendly, efficient, and professional. Cindy at the front desk has been especially helpful over the years. Work orders get fixed quickly, the grounds are well kempt, and they actually give a discount for military service members! The apartments are quite, safe, family friendly, pet friendly, fairly cheap compared to other apartments (with less amenities), and the location frankly can't be beat. You're within a 3-4 minute drive to publix, walmart, lowe's, home depot, target, chick-fil-a, several gas stations, numerous restaurants, numerous retailers, etc. It is only a 12 minute drive to Maxwell AFB/Downtown. While I'm sure this varies person to person, my experience with the other tenants has been great. I would highly recommend!

I lived there for about 2 years. The apartments themselves are simple, no frills just your basic…read moreapartments. Cheap materials used, such as carpet that pulls at the seams where they installed, cheap appliances and thin walls. The management staff was awful. Cindy is the rudest person I have ever met. She is condescending, and very disrespectful. Even after you leave will still email you and if you ask to be removed she will email back with nasty comments and try to be petty. Don't think for a minute you will get your deposit of any kind back. Something will be decided with her "expert knowledge" and they will keep it and bill you for anything else they decide to even if its normal wear and tear on cheap materials. Also your rent will be raised under the guise of "cost of living" and saying i should be paying much more but then they show me the entire list of tenants with the same apartments as mine and im paying 300-400 more than they are. Very unprofessional to even show that but pretty ignorant to show how much you are over charging. The maintenance guys there are solid and the only reason I gave it 2 stars. Those guys were great and very helpful my entire stay at this place. Overall, unless you want to over pay for cheap apartments and get belittled by a manager that clearly is not held accountable (look at the Google reviews at how many people have called her out by name) then by all means go ahead.
