Of course it's nice to be the first one to live in an apartment - fresh carpets, fresh paint, no smells. I rented the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom on the first floor and it was very nice. It was specious enough for me to have a room and an office area, without needing to pay additional for storage. They are also pet friendly - they have two doggie yards and a pet wash station which is super convenient. The staff try to do events for the community - they have had food trucks, a murder mystery night, a Christmas wrapping station - all very cute. The gym and pool are are really great. The gym is small, but big enough that you have enough to do. The pool is great, and has lots of seating and grills. The staff working there has been very friendly and they have tried to take care of any concerns that I have had as soon as possible. I interacted the most with Mike and he was just the kindest friendliest person. One thing that I liked about this spot is that the price for the new apartment was better/ the same compared to some of the older (smellier) apartments I looked at. Also at the time that I rented the rent was fixed day to day and didn't change based on the day of the week/ the month (this is a very confusing system I have encountered in some other spots.) The cons: - parking is outside - unless you are willing to pay more for covered parking, but that doesn't mean there won't be a walk to your garage. This is mainly only an issue in the winter or with rain. - it's new and there have been some growing pains, such as not having enough places to throw away the trash - but the staff have been very diligent about answering concerns and the trash issue was taken care of when the 2nd compactor was installed - people not picking up their dog poop - the apartment complex tries to enforce this with fines, and they have put up doggie stations, but unfortunately some people are not responsible enough to be pet parents - deliveries get made only to the delivery mailboxes or the room - if you have a heavy delivery or something that's bulky good luck transporting that back to your place - delivery room - you do not always get a reliable message that you have a delivery - the gates ... oh I wonder if the gate saga will ever be resolved. The gates are constantly breaking and are open. They have tried installing a secondary gate which looks to me to create more problems than in solves. Honestly the gates are a pain. - there are some intermittent issues with break ins into cars - if you are getting delivery meals good luck explaining your building number to your delivery driver (at least that seemed to be a big issue for the 6000 building). ----- All that being said, it's an apartment and a lot of the issues mentioned are not uncommon for apartments. Overall it's a nice, new place to live. The staff is friendly and they really do try to fix issues as the come up in a timely manner.

I called maintenance multiple times and it took a couple of months to send a guy from Cooks Pest Control. He told me they couldn't do anything, sprayed once and never returned. We are not messy people that leave food out. GYM: The gym equipment was broken, multiple machines had broken cables. POOL: Swam in the pool 2 or 3 times. The water was dirty and had hair floating around in it with other debris. Wanted to sit on a chair to tan but couldn't relax with several wasps flying everywhere. DOG PARK: Sad excuse for a dog park. When it rains, it's flooded in the entryway and is full of mud. Owners don't pick up the poop in the dog park, or anywhere else, so you cannot actually take your dog there. When I wanted to take doggo for a walk, I went to the nice expensive apartments past the tree line. Poop bag dispensers full and out of bags. MAINTENANCE: They had one maintenance guy at any given time. He would work there a couple months and then quit. Constantly rotating maintenance guys. They shut off the water to the entire apartment complex multiple times. They would say it will be off for 1 day and would still be off 3 days later with no compensation. I have heard bad stories from other people living here with broken A/C in the summer. MANAGEMENT: We told them we were moving and signed a new lease with a 2-month term. At the end of 2 months, I showed up with the key and the manager told me we didn't email them notice and had to pay another month's rent to have the unit sit empty.

The staff is welcoming, friendly, and professional. The maintenance is amazingly fast and professional! The last request for a repair I entered into their online system and there was a knock on my door within 10-15 minutes with a very friendly, competent young man who got me fixed up quickly. The management is also diligent to make sure there are community activities each month and holiday decoration contests. Nice touch. I have lived in four different apartment communities in the last decade and this is truly just about as good as it gets if you want something that feels more like a home than an apartment.

The staff is always easy to get ahold of and available. There are always treats for my dog at the front desk and honestly she'd rather hang out with them than with me. As soon as we go downstairs, she's racing to get to the front desk as quickly as possible and then pop her head into the offices to say hello. My favorite feature is the safety of the garage door opener to get in the garage and then the key fob to get into the elevator rooms. Just feels like an extra step of security to raise my confidence going to and from my car with groceries or my dog or whatever I have. I've very much enjoyed living here!
