They gave me a call back telling me they will not fix my tire because anyone could put nails on the ground. I took a video and I took pictures to prove my case. Yesterday I came back through after work. They tried to clean up all the nails but yet they still have more than enough on the ground but still keeps telling me they will not do anything about it.

My dog, Aspen, loved their large dog park (filled with obstacles/benches/some lights for when it's dark) and made tons of friends! The maintenance/office crew are very accommodating and friendly as well. On top of all of this, there's also a car wash station which has a free vacuum (which came in handy if you can see my dog in the pictures)! If you allow dogs, please don't count on dopey inconsiderate dog owners to do the right thing because they don't! Please have a maintenance guy go around picking up feces to keep your property clean! The location is also excellent if you're going to be working in Research Park itself; it is very centrally located (less than 10 minutes from University Drive, close to Slaughter Road, minutes from 255, etc.). It's also great for running and exercise outside. We walked to Bridgestreet regularly from our apartment. If you're going to want to be living in this area of Huntsville, I can't recommend the Bridges in Research Park enough.

When something breaks, don't expect accountability -- expect excuses, blame, and attitude instead. They actually accused us of intentionally breaking the sink pipes instead of admitting their plumbing was flawed. This was after 8+ maintenance requests to address the flooding issue caused by the sink pipes literally falling apart while the water was running. Most of the staff is rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Amenities are a joke and rarely work properly, just like the gates that are somehow constantly broken. For the amount of money they charge, you'd think basic maintenance and security wouldn't be impossible. One of the most disturbing experiences I had here involved a neighbor filing noise complaints about my dogs. Management immediately threatened eviction and even told me I may need to rehome my dogs instead of actually investigating the situation fairly. I did everything in my power to figure out why my dogs were barking so much, only to discover that the neighbor was literally standing outside my window recording and provoking them. When I brought this creepy and inappropriate behavior to management's attention, they did absolutely nothing about it. Nothing is ever management's fault. They refuse to take responsibility for anything and treat residents like inconveniences instead of paying tenants. Save yourself the stress, money, and frustration and live literally anywhere else. Do not be fooled by the model homes either. Those are the only spaces they actually fix and care about to sell more spaces. I've lived here and still currently live here and I can't wait to leave. A water leak was reported cause water was leaking out of my carpet near the kitchen. It started off as a small puddle so I thought maybe some water had spilled in that area the water leak then began to get larger and I called maintenance about it and put in a work order. Maintenance came and they touched it and said not to use the dishwasher because the leak could be coming from the dishwasher(mind you it's cold water at this point coming from the floor). I few days later ( mind you I leave for work a lot of times nobody is there) they come back and they checked nothing except the laundry washer room. (No water was leaking from there because I don't have a washer and dryer) they then touch the spot for a second time a few days later and miraculously it's a large puddle of cooking oil that was poured over the water spot that was originally there. They told me "you must have spilled cooking oil on the floor, there is no water it's just oil. You will have to pay in order to get that cleaned up" I do not use cooking oil I only use olive oil. So somebody came into my apartment and poured oil over the water leak and blamed it on me. Then I get an email saying "it wasn't in your move in report so you'll have to pay out of pocket to have that spot cleaned because oil was spilled" when I hadn't cooked anything in the span of them coming the first time to when they came the second time and water miraculously turned into spilled oil that is now my fault. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE CAMERAS IN YOUR HOME DO NOT MOVE HERE CAUSE THERE IS ALOT OF FOUL PLAY AND THEY DO NOT FIX ANYTHING. THEY WILL DO WHATEVER TO MAKE IT SEEM LIKE IT WAS YOUR FAULT AND THEN PLAY DUMB AFTER. And it will cost you money instead of them. I am 5 months pregnant having to deal with this mess and having to pay to fix the carpet I never poured oil on. Maintenance did between the day I reported it and they said it was water the first time- the day the water suddenly became oil and was suddenly not the dishwasher at all. They just shined their flashlights on it and the problem was suddenly a me problem not a them problem FOUL PLAY HAPPENS HERE DO NOT MOVE HERE IT WILL COST YOU. Apartments have MANY ISSUES THEY HIDE WHEN YOU MOVE IN THAT START TO COME TO LIGHT THE LONGER YOU STAY AND USE THE APPLIANCES. They broke the news that a major pipe has bursted and that I quickly needed to come home to let them in. I was frantic because my puppy was trapped inside. My apartment and 21 others were effected by the poor insulated pipes installed by the complex. My apartment was deemed unlivable and they declared it would have to be totally rebuilt before I and/or another resident moved in. With half of my family living abroad and the others out visiting distant relatives, I was displace during the holidays. I had renters insurance through apartment complex and with USAA. I was encouraged to purse my claims through our apartment complex (before USAA) and was appalled at how disorganized and unresponsive their team were. At one point, they notified myself and other affected parties that there would be NO payouts for our extensive loss. After pressing the matter they agreed to pay a small fraction of my extensive damages (lost heirlooms etc) by that time, I had be displaced for 2.5 months. Fast forward, I decided to relocate to @thekelvin_uplandpark --I was met with an entrance door that did not properly close, flimsy handles and nonexistent hot water due to their poorly installed water line. By that time, I wrote management and demanded that my lease be broken without penalty. I was then free to go!

You have your choice of multiple floor plans for two and three bedroom apartments. There is a beautiful swimming pool, a clubhouse, and a fitness center. Tina and Laura (the property managers) were fantastic at making me feel welcome. It's not something they did just to get me to rent at The Moderne; it is who they are as people. What I like as much as I like my unit is that The Moderne At Providence is in the cut. It's peaceful. It's not a place that someone is going to say I was just driving by. It located in The Villiage of Providence which a great area for single professionals. It has restaurants, bars, a dry cleaner, a nail shop, and a CVS within walking distance. Plus, it's not far from Spouts in Madison and many more restaurants on Hwy 72. It's close to Research Parkway, shopping at The Bridge Street Town Center. A short ride to the University of Alabama, Huntsville and Alabama A&M University.
