Ingredients for stuffed beancurd noodles
Alexander Y.

There is one dish that I always come back here for whenever I'm eat out in Glen Waverley; the signature stuffed beancurd noodles in curry soup. The variety of ingredients for selection is good and the curry soup is delicious. Best to keep you warm in winter. Furthermore, the salty fish fried rice/vermicelli here is also quite good.

This place has moved at least once in the last few years. I've been to it in the old store, and perused the newer store a couple of times. I'm not terribly impressed with the quality of what I've had, which is a pity because the menu has to be one of the more appealing cheap Asian menus in the area, and that's quite a feat. My experience revolves around my desire to find the best beef rendang in Melbourne. See, I absolutely love this dish. When it is done right. When it's wrong, it is possibly the worst dish you could ever have placed in front of you. In this case, the sauce was a little bit bland and the meat was tough. You can tell that they must have used some very ordinary meat, as rendang is generally quite forgiving of using secondary cuts of meat. It is supposed to cook for a long time, so it normally doesn't matter. I don't know if I've only been there on bad days or not, so I won't comment any further. Service is average. Prices would be good if the food was of a higher quality. Give 'em a go though, I've paid more for much worse.

This is the 'skinny' hor fun that they use for "Char Kueh Teow". Not authentic, no taste - very bland. The chilli is from the yeong tofu.

Came here for lunch. Had Char Kueh Teow .. Was V V disappointed with the dish. They use the 'skinny' hor fun to do the Char Kueh Teow, not the standard. The taste was bland, and the Char Kueh Teow "aroma" was completely absent. Wife ordered YeongToFu which was still OK. NOT Char Kueh Teow !!

I crave this more than pho! The bean curd rolls are yummmm!

This place should be illegal, because I'm out of pocket after just sneaking inside…read more The other day I came here for the usual morning coffee after hearing all the praise from yelpers (hey, after all if you can trust anyone it is all the good yelpers rather than any other strangers I have never met ). I was surprised at the large amount of freshly baked bread and decided to stock up a weeks worth of breads as well as a few muffins for myself and some workmates which was amazing , Other than all the breads anyone could want this guys have all kinds of other treats including cookies in many shapes and sizes pies ( apple pie, berry pie, meat pies an all the other pies), sticky date puddings, soft drinks and coffee which is honestly no that all praise worthy.

This is my morning bakery that I have been coming to for years. Maybe because it's the closest…read morebakery to me, but even if it wasn't I would still buy from here. A non-pretentious little shop that sells fresh bread, pizza rolls, ham cheese rolls, cakes, croissants, sandwiches and other typical bakery items. They are quite busy during the mornings, with workers constantly coming in and out for a takeaway coffee and ham cheese croissant. They sell a few cakes (orange and poppy seed, sticky date, cheesecake, mud etc.), cupcakes, tarts, gingerbread men and meringues etc. They also sell muffins fresh in the mornings that are absolutely delicious! The flavors change every day, but they are all so good. I had a berry one once, and there was swirl of raspberry jam all the way through, it was fantastic. Definitely grab yourself a muffin from here. This bakery also stocks milk and pies.
