This outdoor shopping district has a wonderful variety of shops from a tea shop to a soap and lotion shop, as well as jewelry stores and other stores. The shopping center is laid out in a square with Mel's Diner and the Kringles shop in front. It is very quaint and well decorated for Christmas. There is a Christmas decoration store that's open year round. The stores I noticed were popular were Mulberry Market; a kitchen and houseware store, Dickens Gift Shop, and TeaMaze; their version of TeaVana. The staff at the stores were friendly and the atmosphere was friendly and cheerful. There were also lots of sales going on. I would definitely recommend this shopping center and would come back. read more

The Grand Village is by far my favorite spot to shop in Branson! I like that it is pet friendly! I just carried my small dog when going inside shops but I saw some people with dog strollers. There are several Christmas-themed stores selling everything you would ever need to celebrate Christmas. There was also a sports store, a toy store, and a gourmet food store among several others. We originally had went to this place to eat at Mels Hard luck Dinner but found out it was closed until further notice, so decided to check out the other shops here while we were here. Nice selection of stores this Village has! And all outdoors, So probably wouldn't be a good place if Branson is having thundershowers. For those into Christmas, there is a nice Christmas shop here, and for those of us not into that Holiday, there are plenty of other nice shops here, so would recommend this place and come back to it! read more

I only gave it 3 stars because shops are a little too financially elite for my budget. Quaint atmosphere. Visited four shops. Two shops had the expected snooty clerks that acted like I was going to steal something. The Clock shop, Father Time, however, was run by a very down to earth, sweet, and funny gentleman. He really knows his stuff and has an interesting way of informing you. The stuff in the shop was MARVELOUS! It was just nice to get the "tour"!!! My significent other will probably end up buying a clock from him online. We also enjoyed the gentleman at the Leather shop. He was very nice. My guy bought a hat from him. This is my go-to place when the weather is nice and I want a leisurely stoll as well as window shop. Most of the time I do buy something, it's a wonderful, relaxing place. The shops are quaint and very nice with many items you don't find in other stores. I LOVE Kringles with Christmas year-round and they have such beautiful displays. Even if you don't buy anything, it's a fabulous place to just walk. There are eateries there. There is a shop with homemade soaps, another with dozens of department 56 pieces, Corky's shoes, Vera Bradley with Bighton shop, and a diner with talented live musicians. This is a fun place to stroll and shop. The shops and village layout are very attractive. The only thing that keeps it from being 5-star is the limited food option. There is one sandwich shop (good food) and one restaurant with singing waiters (pricey). There are often several motorcoach groups during the noon hours and it is impossible to get food without a long wait. read more

The Grandfather Clock Place at Grand Village. Saw this GF Clock for around $2300, Saw it later on sale for $1615, Got mine for $1200 I was Thrilled. Otherwise I could not affford one at all. In fact I had marked it off my wish list, So I was grateful for the price!!!. I am blind, small print is the enemy. Although I wasnt told I was getting the floor model (as written on the bill of sale), I dont feel slighted because I was just SO grateful for the price. However, I was also not told that it would take over 15 days to deliver it. The place is literally LESS than TWO MILES fomr where I live! After DAY TEN! I called and called rach time I was promised a delivey day. After a week went by. I was getting nervous about it. Then, I started walking there. (blind) and had to go there twice to insist that it be delivered. On the Friday morning It got delivered. I was there waiting in the rain at the door when they arrived to open. Promise after promise to deliver the clock had been broken while each time I waited at home WITH NO PHONE CALL!!! NOT EVEN A PHONE CALL!!! We have all been there, waiting on the cable guy that never shows. I waited FIVE TIMES! I KNOW at LEAST on FIVE occasions the promise was broken and I really am confident it was SIX TIMES! But NO PHONE CALLS!?! Heres the kicker. AFTER my grandfather clock was finally delivered, I got several phone calls over the next month (about four to six calls ...not sure I wasnt counting those days. When your blind, you count a lot) anyway, I got these calls and they KNEW who I was, They were calling me about buying another clock for my Moms Birthday that I had mentioned to them while in the sotre just trying to make conversation and remaining polite. They were very Awkward feeling ohone calls. Trying to remain polite while telling them no, .... no thank you, While in my head I was thinking. not no. but hell no! What in the hell are you thinking ,,, NO. I was so relieved to have ECAPED from under the LEVERAGE of the first purchase, what are you thinking no... Once they even begged, "you can leave the store with it and ship it yourself to your mother". WOW how thoughtful of you., I'll just buy another huge clock, and taxi cab it to the UPS store round trip and box it my BLIND self. How incredibly thoughtful of you! ICK! It was just CREPPY. Had I gotten ONE phone call during the time I was waiting for the initial delivery on my original $1,308.00 purchase, I may have bought another. But the way I felt? I WASNT ANGRY AT ALL!!!! I was indeed RELIEVED! that i was out of the situation. RELIEVED! thats not a good way to feel when doing business. I really thought perhaps with no phone calls during the five (six) failed delivery attempts on the initial purchase, I was lucky to have a clock at all. I really thought the place was going out of business they were so careless and seemingly was well aware of thier leverage. They already had all my money.. The proceeding ten phone calls over the next month to buy another clock, made for a very weird and uncomfortable experience. MAYBE THEY ARE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS, Regardless, if they are not, ... and I hope they are not. They dont have a lot of insight, at least not for local purchases. Had I lived out of town. I would have reversed the charge on my debit card after a week went by with no phone calls. Next time I wont pay full price. I will pay only a deposit and the rest cash on delivery. One thousand, three hundred and eight dollars is a LOT of money to me. I dont take kindly to folks making me worry needlessly. I love the shop its beautiful.
