I usually go once a month, sometimes twice - so I'd like to think I'm comfortable enough to know what I look for in a therapist, clinic, etc. I have been coming here sporadically since they opened and recently cancelled a membership elsewhere to sign up for one here. They're usually able to find me an appointment (even on short notice) and the hours are super accommodating. They have an extensive roster of therapists you can book over phone, website or app. Big parking lot in the plaza they're in with plenty of free parking. Direct billing is always a plus. I've been able to find a therapist I really connect with and it's been wonderful. Pro tip: if you really need some relief, request the use of the Japanese mint oil. It makes a difference!

He also isn't one of those chiropractors who see you once or twice and then puts you on a long-term plan that you see him 3x/week forever or anything like that (those feel like money grabs, don't they?) His idea is that he adjusts you and you feel better, and you shouldn't need to see him regularly. Novel concept. I know a lot of chiropractors don't do manual adjustments anymore - and Dr.Poon also has newer techniques as well, but I was specifically looking for this technique (increasingly hard to find). It works for me and if he knows what he is doing, I feel comfortable and safe. The clinic itself could use some updating, but I don't really care if the treatments work. They also do direct billing to insurance companies, and are flexible with their appointments/take walk ins, so the convenience is really great.

My old dentist just didn't cut it for me anymore and I stopped visiting the offices for more than 4 years. Yes, that's right, I haven't been to the dentist in more than 4 years. You're all askin, "But Andrew, your teeth look really good." I know. It's true. It is pretty amazing. But seriously, my standard of dental visits was I go in, wait 30 minutes for the dental hygienists, get cleaned up for about 30 minutes, wait 40 minutes for the dentist, dentist sees me for about 20 minutes. That's 2 hours. Everytime! No wonder I get anxiety going to the dentist, especially when they have no good news for me. After experiencing some sensitivity, I decided to take the plunge and try out Dr. Oberg. Her staff are absolutely wonderful. When booking an appointment in person, they spoke with Blue Cross and I got a breakdown of how much services were as well as the why. Yes, that's what I'm so excited about. Her staff explain and break things down to me assuring me that it's always my choice and they were real people rather than the face of a business. I like how everyone from the administrator, to the dental assistant, to the dental hygienist relate to you on a personal level. I feel like Dr. Oberg's energy and enthusiasm trickles down to every one of her staff as they take the time and attention to address your concerns. Although very busy, they were able to fit me in to get an examination and cleaning in a span of two weeks with following up if I to see if I could come in earlier due to cancellations. The overall procedures went by very quickly and it took longer because I had so many questions. Questions that I found out from friends and colleagues that are normal for them but I found was so refreshing with Dr. Oberg. She sat down with me and went over pretty much every tooth in my mouth on the TV, gave her recommendations and explained in lament terms of why it's important. She answered my concerns and I left feeling very safe and assured that at the end of the day, my health is her biggest priority. Although their fees are slightly higher than the Alberta Blue Cross guide (by a marginal few dollars), I am happy now to say I will see them in 6 months for cleaning. TL;DR: I have great teeth despite not going to the dentist. Professional, knowledgeable, happy staff.

I'm very pleased with the outcome and feel much more optimistic about going ahead with my knee replacements. Cindy and Meghan were very professional, knowledgeable and genuine. I looked forward to the exercise sessions and learned a lot about what and what not to do and feel much stronger.
