I've been to this clinic a few times now and I'm already feeling the effects of the acupuncture and cupping treatments I've been receiving so it's definitely 5 stars for service. Beth is a really understanding and knowledgeable practitioner. After our first chat I totally felt she understood what I was looking for and could help me get results. The treatment rooms have very calming decor and are perfect temperature, the complete spa atmosphere, but every so often you can hear someone slamming down weights in the gym next door. This kind of hampers the whole calm zen feeling. The last time I went I noticed someone in a wheelchair seemed to have issues navigating because the corridors are narrow around the reception area and there's not really seating for someone who's a little less mobile at the entrance of the clinic. These are the only reasons I haven't given City Centre Wellness five stars. I will continue to visit this clinic because the service is fantastic, they do online booking (which I love) and it's a convenient location for anyone who works downtown. City Center Wellness is a massage clinic located inside of the World Health Club city center location. I've been going to city center wellness for about a year now and I am throughly satisfied with the service I receive there. First off they have a super convenient online booking system which I love. You can see when your therapist is available and match up an appointment time to your calendar without having to call. They will also send you reminders on the day of your appointment via email, and follow-up reminders when it is time for your next appointment to be booked which is super handy. They also have 3rd party billing which is exrtremly handy for those whose benefits cover massage therapy. They have different therapists who specialize in different areas of massage so they cater to pretty much every need. I personally see Meghan, who is great. She will tell me what parts of my body are tight and what I need to work on and give me tips of things I can do at home to loosen those muscles up. She really knows her stuff. There have also been a few times I have called the studio the day of - you know how it is when you wake up with something wrong and you could use the massage that day - and Meghan has always done her best to fit me in when those problem days occur. I want to thank Cindy and the team at City Centre Wellness. I went to get acupuncture done on my shoulder as I had a shoulder injury that had been bothering me for a few weeks. Cindy was amazing and she even performed some cupping on my back. I am so happy to say that my shoulder has made a 100% recovery. I can't believe how well it worked! This place has some of the best massage therapists. Depending on what you need they people here are well versed. Char and Kati will give you a deep tissue massage that can be painful but will help with those difficult tension spots. Meghan is great at both deep tissue and relaxation. Regardless of who you get I have not had a bad experience yet. The online booking is the easy and you can access them even if you're not a World Health Club member just sign in at the front desk. read more
