Two and a half years later and the rear-end has failed…read more After they completing the work on the front end of my vehicle a plug was left disconnected up by the front left firewall which prevented my A/C from working. The breather tube was not connected behind the filter and pushed down where it was hard to see that it was disconnected. It cost me $200 to find out why the A/C wasn't working and I put nearly 1000k on the vehicle before discovering the disconnected hose. Great guys at car clinic, but my repair turned out to be a very expensive failure.

They gave me rough ball park estimates that ended up being HUNDREDS of dollars off what the actual total was. They broke off a brake caliper bolt and had to replace the caliper. I was charged the labor and parts for THIER MISTAKE. I confronted the owner about this, and he immediately got visibly angry and was shaking mad. I never raised my voice or said anything rude. Simply asked why I was being charged for something they broke. Oil change, rotor resurface, and fuel filter took them nearly 6 HOURS to complete...find a different place to get work done, trust me!

Worst oil change (and most expensive, even with the coupon) in my considerable years of experience…read more Obviously a business intent on selling additional services and products, while completely ignoring the task at hand. When I backed my car out of my garage the next day I was shocked to see a puddle of new oil on the floor, and upon further inspection the dipstick showed over filled! Since I had driven it immediately after the oil change I was concerned about my engine and took it to the dealership for a check up. Not only had the hacks at this Grease Monkey overfilled my engine, they had only hand tightened the oil filter and oil pan plug. Needless to say there was oil all over my engine, and dripping leaking all over the place. They did agree to refund the exorbitant price of their disastrous services, but when I pursued any compensation for having to take my car to a qualified garage for diagnosis, Grease Monkey's district manager proved to be a rude and ungracious sort, and placed all the blame on me. I suppose he's right, in a sense - why did I ever darken their door? I certainly won't again. But if incompetence, unaccountability and astronomic prices are your cup of tea, then by all means, these are your guys.
