I called before bringing my truck in to see what the rates would be for brakes, oil change, and fuel filter change. They gave me rough ball park estimates that ended up being HUNDREDS of dollars off what the actual total was. They broke off a brake caliper bolt and had to replace the caliper. I was charged the labor and parts for THIER MISTAKE. I confronted the owner about this, and he immediately got visibly angry and was shaking mad. I never raised my voice or said anything rude. Simply asked why I was being charged for something they broke. Oil change, rotor resurface, and fuel filter took them nearly 6 HOURS to complete...find a different place to get work done, trust me! read more

Earlier this spring, I was camped in the Big Horn Mtns 25 miles from Buffalo. I needed new tires on my 5th wheel. I wanted a certain brand tire. Superior was able to get my size shipped from the warehouse. The tires didn't come in the day they were expected, but I was assured they would be in the next day. Superior let me camp in their rear parking lot. As soon as the tires arrived, they started work on my trailer. Can't say enough good things about the people at Superior Auto. We skidded off the mountains and rammed into a boulder about 10 miles from town and got our car towed to Superior during a cross country move. Not only were we on a tight schedule, but there was also a huge snow storm coming that we had to escape. The car couldn't be fixed until the following week, which was too late for us. Gary was incredibly patient and helped us brainstorm options--even calling other shops and rental companies for availability. Ultimately, Gary allowed us to leave the car there (for good) and helped us find a ride to Sheridan (30mi away) so we could rent a car to escape the snow storm and finish the trip. We were on a cross country trip across Wyoming when we started to experience engine trouble. We barely made it out of the Big Horn Mountains into the town of Buffalo WY (home of the Longmire author, Craig Johnson). It was a Friday afternoon and we were desperate. We called Superior and talked to Gary, who said to come in and he'd look at our car. True to his word, he determined that our water pump had failed. He offered to order the replacement, have it delivered overnight, and have someone come in on Sat. morning. By 12:30 pm we were on our way. The cost was very reasonable. And, Gary and Shan couldn't have been nicer, even giving us a lift back and forth to our hotel. And, giving us excellent restaurant recommendations, The Winchester Steak House -- the perfect cowboy supper club. BEST service at a tire place that I have ever had. I was outside of Buffalo when not one, not tow, but three tires blew on my cargo trailer. I guess it was a manufacturer's defect. It was after hours on a Saturday, but I was able to get ahold of the owner of Superior Tire. He put his weekend on hold, came in after closing, and got me back on the road in no time... all of this at a couple hundred less than what I expected to pay. My van died in Buffalo (on my way to Ten Sleep for a rock climbing trip, so you know I wanted to get the van running ASAP). Shan talked me off the ledge first thing in the morning. Gary diagnosed the problem and got me back on the road. They're incredibly busy, so I was relieved that they were able to take care of me right away. And they did not charge me -- problem did not require repair, but still. So appreciate everyone I came into contact with at Superior. Our car broke down just outside of Buffalo. The towing company swore by this place and said they knew the owner and guaranteed he would look at it first thing in the morning. We called first thing in the morning and they said they would be looking at it ASAP. We called two hours later and they didn't look at it at all and said they weren't sure if they would get to it. They were rude about it and acted as if we could just sit around and wait forever when we were just passing through. It was a horrible experience and I hope no one ever goes there again that is expecting someone who genuinely cares. Go to the Car Clinic and they'll do everything they can to help! Absolute crooks, parents had to have repairs done while out of state. Front brakes caught of fire (about 2 inch flame for about 5 mins) going down a mountain so they did front brake pads, rotors, brake hoses( that I had my dad ask to replace), upper and lower ball joints (when only one was bad) and a hub bearing and charged 9 hours of labor, and torqued the rear lug nuts to 200lbs when specs say 160lbs!!!! Now anyone with any automotive knowledge knows A LOT of that labor overlaps but still charged as it it was done one at a time. Took 3 days to do the job, no alignment was done when they did ball joints and over charged for parts that he got from the local orielly's and advanced auto parts. This is why people in the automotive industry have bad reputations. Absolutely disgusting read more

Traveling west on I 90 broke a Breakline limped into if their shop about 5:30 PM. They spotted the problemhooked my RV up with power and the site next to the building and even though it was a last minute arrival got to it before noon the next day had me out the door well before 2 PM added another500 miles the next day everything was great the price was very reasonable. Could easily have stuck it to me since I was traveling through. read more
