Service is quick and friendly and the inside is large and comfortable with ample seats. The meat and sandwiches here are phenomenal and worth hunting out. It's not an easy find, at the back of an industrial complex. But if you can find it, you are unlikely to be disappointed. I had a fried chicken sandwich, and my wife the pork schnitzel. Both were delicious and more than ample sized for the price paid. The fries were too salty for my liking, not bad, but could have done with a tad less salt sprinkled on them. My only gripe is that although all very friendly, I didn't find the staff helpful in aiding newbies know how the ordering works. It's kinda like a build your own sandwich with the toppings, but this isn't obvious, nor are the ways to make combos. Besides deli sandwiches to takeaway, there's also a good selection of jerky, peperoni sticks, and frozen meats such as burgers and ribs. Its in the very back of a plaza and takes up quite a few units. The other units are meant for storage so they have signs pointing to Unit#9 as their main entrance. The outside of this place does not do it justice! Inside is beaaauutiful ! The decor is very welcoming and the air condition is really nice on a hot summer day. They have a lot of different meats you can purchase frozen in their freezers and also a menu to order fresh sandwhiches. We chose the Pork schnitzel and the Montreal smoked meat sandwhich. For a large $5.50 its a steal!! The portion they give is very generous! The Montreal smoked meat sandwhich is so good! It reminded me of the sandwiches from Schwartz in Montreal! The Pork schnitzel was just okay in comparison. It was my first time trying schnitzel and i wasnt too impressed. The service is great too, and you can put on as many toppings as you wish for free too (Cheese is extra). In total our bill came out to be just a little over $12. Placed an online order just for myself when only a few minutes away for a smoked meat sandwich with lots of add-ons. So many sandwich and poutine choices, different proteins, breads, cheeses, toppings from which to choose you may have a difficult time deciding, but go for it! Prices are more than fair. My food was ready when I arrived and it was delicious. My only caveat would be to say don't order a pickle on the side - 50¢ for 1/4 of a pickle, so not worth it and there's was a pickle included with my sandwich anyway. The Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich is the one that I chose, and it was really good. We were heading out on a camping trip, so we also picked up a sausage (for camping lunches) and some pepperoni sticks. They had great hot dogs too. I did not have one myself, but my daughter did, and she said that it was great. I bought a big pack of hot dogs and some really nice looking buns, too. I haven't tried them yet, but they look very good, like some of the higher quality buns that sell for much more in a grocery store. I will keep you posted if my expectations about the buns change. Completely satisfying lunch for relatively cheaper prices and better quality than your chain sub/hoagie place. So good we went back a couple days later for another one (we split the large on Italian roll with a large fries). At a world where a sub costs $7 or $8, soup for another $2, and a drink for another $2--this place shames everyone by offering a sandwich, a soup, and a can of pop for measily $4.95. That is right, $4.95 for all that. Okay, so they are not the best sandwiches you have ever had. In fact, it was quite forgettable. There is nothing wrong with their food, just nothing that will make you say "Hmmm this is a really good sandwich!" But you really can't argue, because they really do pack on the meat. I had the smoked montreal meat, while my friend had the turkey. I had mine on rye (did not taste like rye, but whatever), which was size of your typical sanwich bread. They also offer regular white and multigrain, which are buns, size of a small sub from Mr. Sub (or tad larger than 6inch from Subway). If you like your meat, you can pay a dollar, and they will nearly double the amount of your meat. They had three choices of soups; we both had broccoli, which was similar to Tim Horton's cream of broccoli. Crackers and pickle spears on the side. And a can of Diet Coke :) Hey, for 5 bucks.... Found this place while cruising the Net for Delis near Oshawa. Read the reviews on Trip Adviser and decided to give it a shot. After an hour and a half drive leaving Fenelon Falls, pulled into the lot with ample parking (1:30 pm) and entered the Deli, which is a well laid out sandwich shop. I understand it gets quite busy around lunch and I can see why. My meal was 1 large smoked meat on rye and I'll admit it was so good I had 2. My wife had the snitzel on a bun, which left drool marks on her chin. We used to go to a well know deli in Oshawa, but no more. This will be our new go-to place. There is limited seating, a large number of efficient staff, very clean decor and washrooms, and yes it is laid out like a real deli, steamers, slicers, variety of bread and unbelievable prices. When we told our table buddies where we were from they freaked, but they agreed it was worth the drive. Find them on Facebook, there is an extensive menu. Highly recommend. read more
