This gem of a store has been so clutch over the years for picking up gifts. Some of the people in my life are, um, a little hard to shop for, but when I come in here, I always come away with something great. It's all so well-curated; some gifts are classy, some funny, and many are versatile. It beats the socks off of going into a big box store in a million ways. Being in a charming stretch of a walkable area adds to its appeal, and the staff is always friendly. They also have Pickwick candles which are some of the best in town. These soy candles will last multiple seasons and almost all of them smell amazing. Cheers to this shop, they're doing it right and have saved my bacon every December since they've opened.

It was also over 90 degrees out and you had no water bowls for the dogs. There was also no trash cans around so I got to carry a poopy bag around your store. This fantastic boutique doesn't have a ton of merchandise, but I want all of it. Well, not the ladies clothes, as I'm not a crossdresser. But if I were, I'd be a classy one and probably buy my clothes at George, too. Seriously, this store is nice! I'm impressed in particular by three areas: the pet stuff, their books and their dishes. Their little pet corner is small, but adorable. They had really great chew-toys, leashes, collars and dog bowls. The dog bowls would look fantastic in a modern home, and we plan on getting one of the collars for our pooch once her current one starts looking natty. Their collection of books is incredibly well curated. Lots of great cookbooks, cocktail guides and coffee table books. Also, they have a couple of kids books that certain parents would be way into, if you want your kids learning about CoCo Chanel and the like. Their dishes are all VERY nice (and quite expensive) and if I hung out with a higher tax bracket, I'd be hoping for wedding gifts from here. The store is just really pretty, as well. If you are into modern decor that is not the same old chrome and glass, you will find this store refreshing. I have consigned dozens of items (and probably bought as many pieces) and always appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. I have introduced several friends to the store who have consigned furniture. Recently, we have noticed that a young woman who accepts items falls short in the customer service area. She has an air of self importance, and as my friend said recently, acts as if she is too busy saving the world to stop and help us mere mortals. Like any business, Couches to Curios would not exist without customers but this person doesn't seem to understand that. The rest of the staff, from owner Becky, manager Patrick (her son), and the sales people are all great.
