Room was excellently appointed but prior guest must have been heavy smokers which made for a stuffy room. Front desk was kind enough to show us the room prior to us upgrading so we knew what we were getting into. Great location for our needs. We explored old Istanbul via a quick walk to subway then Ferry into the old town area. Amazing. We were most impressed with two meals we enjoyed at the Compass Restaurant which was on the top floor. We found out that the restaurant was recently reopened after a long COVID hiatus ... lucky for us. Our server, Joseph, was excellent and made both of our dining experiences amazing. Service, food and beverages were wonderful!

It wasn't my first choice to stay here for a few reasons. I'll mention them below…read more CON: They have issues with room keys, we had to go downstairs a total of 11 times in the 7 days we stayed there because the cards would just go bad or something and not work. PRO: The hamam at the spa was fun. For 200 Lira you can get "the works" CON: It's far from the downtown area where everything is located. PRO: There are small mom and pop shops that locals go to like restaurants CON: Takes a while to get to from the airport or from the downtown area and your cab may not want to take you because of traffic. PRO: There's always a cab outside. So that's my breakdown of Titanic hotel. Don't think we'd stay there again but it was an interesting experience.

If you are flying out of the Gökçen airport an need to stay close to catch that early flight, there is no hardship staying here! The hotel is super clean, the staff efficient and friendly, the rooms nicely appointed and location to airport is perfect! Remarkably, even with the hotel literally attached to the airport we heard no noise from aircraft to disrupt our sleep. We stayed here in August and the air conditioning in the rooms worked perfectly and as an added bonus they had a ceiling fan to keep that air moving in to keep me nice and cool! My only slight discomfort was that the bed was a bit hard. We ate our dinner at the restaurant and were very happy with the quality and taste of the food as well as the service.
