Noah was helping me for only 5 mins when the other budtender, who was also helping his own customers, said to Noah "There's people waiting in the lobby, so try to hurry up." What the hell?? It won't kill those people to wait. Maybe you should have more than 2 workers on a Sunday? Or at least talk in code like "pineapple express" so you won't offend shoppers who have 1,000 products to choose from. Not Noah's fault, but I lowered the tip and won't be back because of it. We were driving from Denver to Salt Lake City and took I-70 specifically to stop here and we're so glad we did! The prices are so reasonable, especially in comparison to the prices you find in central Denver. It was such an easy stop, not even off of our route. We were greeted by Carl who was extremely friendly right off the bat. He walked us through the store and helped us pick some stuff out. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. He really listened to what we were looking for and suggested products that matched our interests and didn't push anything on us, which I greatly appreciated. I'm a local so I reckon I know the best spots in the area: this is the best one. In the county. Probably my fav ever. Why? Settle in and I'll tell you as I legally toke this affordable yet high quality flower sold to me by some very pleasant humans. I'll start by saying This green solution location is a bit of an anomaly. Silver Plume is pretty notorious for its small population of gruff and inhospitable people. Here's why: we came to the mountains to mine for metal and to be left alone. Mountain folk like their space. The reason our towns of George and our plumes of silver exist in the first place is because the miners needed to post up somewhere. Silver and gold miners with actual pick axes and dynamite...pre-OSHA. Arduous and glorious (if not glamorous) times. So it's still an adjustment to roll into plume and be greeted eagerly, yet the consistency at this location makes it easy. Anyway, history aside, my bf and I have closer options far as dispos go but we still drive a little further out of the way to hit up the best. Always got the sweetest deals and always got the on point customer service. Like, I'm talkin happy-to-see-you-bud! type service. Pulled up tonight and realized it was 6:45 n that they were closing up. We were bout to head out when Shelton saw us, stuck his head out and told us to come in. He hooked us up with our usual $99 ounce, which comes anyway you want it. The clear glass case displaying all cannabis options is a beautiful design. Like an ice cream parlor, full of fun flavors and you must try them all. The green solution is like gourmet jelly belly's and the other guys are just Jordan almonds. It's like weed meets pick-a-mix. Like going into the apple store for the first time when you decide to ditch the flip phone. It's the future; it's the way to run a dispensary. We got our usual variety with some new stuff recommended by Shelton. He never once rushed us, instead reassuring it was all good. Rhonda was also super nice and helpful. Both workers were suspiciously cheerful, joking with us at check out as if we weren't delaying them closing up shop. It was like they genuinely love their job. We were even a few cents short at the end but they said don't even worry about it. I tried to say no, let me use my card so I can leave a tip! Rhonda closed the sale and told us no worries. The associates are friendly and share their experiences which can possibly introduce you to some new thoughts. For me, pie crust and batter were the most recent finds. They're flower comes pre packaged and it taste like plastic.. I recently picked up some concentrates, they tasked like butane or they sold me some old product it wasn't a wax consistency it was more like soup smeared on a piece of parchment paper ? I think it still had butane in it honestly, They get it packaged from Indie. They need to do a quality control.. this is the 4th time now I've gotten bad product from this store..
