the website says they sell pre-rolled beeswax joints. They don't. false advertising to get you into their store. fail. The only thing they have is hemp flowers in a jar, then you have to buy a piece to smoke it. Wasted trip. Shame because I had heard ok things. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Kimmy and Billy D.

Born and raised in St. Paul, Owners Billy Drexler and Kimmy Brennan strive to be your local, premium selection, mom and pop Dispensary. Billys passion began in Amsterdam 2001, when he judged the Cannabis cup. He went back to judge again in 2002, and never looked back. This is literally his dream come true. Kimmy has always been interested in herbalism and natural medacine. Having seen how cannabis has helped family and friends manage pain, anxiety, deppression, and alcoholism, has been all in with her fiance. For us, Grey Area represents that love of Amsterdam, cannabis culture and the pioneers that got us here.

As a first-time customer, I called to place an order and was told they would meet me at my preferred location at a specific time for delivery. I arrived on time and waited about 15 minutes with no call, text, or update. When I called to find out what was going on, I was told my order had never been processed because I hadn't filled something out on the website. The problem is that no one mentioned this during the phone call, even though we had already gone through my order together. If that step was required, it should have been communicated. Instead of acknowledging the miscommunication, the person I spoke with became rude and dismissive. I was told, "It's too late now," and, "You're going to have to go somewhere else," before he ultimately hung up on me. Mistakes happen. Poor customer service is a choice. If this is how they treat a first-time customer over a simple misunderstanding, I can't recommend doing business here. There are plenty of local businesses that value their customers and communicate professionally. I'd encourage you to support one of those instead.

We tore our old bushes and brush and asked the landscape designer @ Lilydale for help w reworking the yard w trees and native shrubs to welcome birds, bees and butterflies back. We started with a plan..that added a beautiful Jade Maple to our front yard and dogwoods and arborvitae to the back in year one. In year two we added 2 serviceberries and shrubs! The landscape crew carefully placed our plants and we love the results!
