Nadya was so good with our golden doodle! Ted can be a little anxious but he hopped right in the van and wanted to go back with Nadya when they were done! I have not had a problem with my pups following grooms neither physically or emotionally, so I have continued to bring them. However this time was the last time, undoubtedly. When I arrived to pick my Yankee up I was surprised to hear that their credit card system was not working. I do not carry cash on me and since I live so close by I left my phone behind when I left to pick up my dog. The girl at the counter was kind when she asked if I could zelle the payment when I got home, which I had no problem doing. However the "manager" (Chelsea I believe was her name), apparently didn't like the idea of that. She walked over with a nasty attitude asking me "what the problem was" and told me she would not be giving me my dog until I paid. Meanwhile my puppy was screeching for me and scratching under the gate. Obviously this was not a great way to approach the situation and I told her to call her boss to take my card info and let her know I will no longer be bringing my business there because of her managers treatment of me. She had a smirk as if she could care less, which is probably the case to be honest and that's just fine. And they don't know me or all the business I have sent their way that will also follow me after such disrespect. Such a shame. This place was really great until they started hiring these kind of people. Miss the old staff! I will be trying another place next month.

I took him to North Star in Brick who were also incredible. I needed a Veterinarian for a follow up appointment and looked on line for surrounding areas. I also needed a night appointment and they had them. The amount of time and understanding and kindness that was shown to Happy was unprecedented! They took into consideration of all his needs and quirks. Literally they got on the floor with him to reassure him he was in good hands! Dr Wes was attentive and answered probably over a dozen questions. He never got annoyed nor did Diana and Brigid. I had asked about clipping his nails . The groomer does it but it is like the WWF! I was talking with the doctor and before I knew it the nails were done. NoTRAUMA FOR HAPPY!!! So thankful for all of you and so thankful HAPPY has a new place he can feel safe at.
