Once all records updated online, it is a easy breezy check in. The place is immaculate. I especially like how an attendant comes out to greet and bring your dog into the daycare. Our boxer goes in happily. If he didn't want to go, believe me, we would know! When we pick up our pup, he looks tired but well exercised and happy. The best is the report card given (which indicates he is being well looked after) and includes a special pup treat. I have had 2 summers of great experiences and I hope to have more!!!!!! In reference to some of the negative experiences I read, it is a shame they could not experience and enjoy what Lucky's has to offer. Personally, I do not think their daycare rate for half and full day is "pricey" AT ALL! I am from NY and the prices there are a bit higher. Specialty photos are offered and their price is a few $$ less than back home. Finally, regarding kennel cough complaints, it can happen in any environment when dogs are together. Especially when dog owners are careless to address the matter efficiently or wait the suggested 2 weeks after the last cough to re-enter their pup with others. IMO, I believe it is careless to blame a daycare AFTER they warn there was an outbreak. Or to point a finger when your pup stayed only one night in boarding. Symptoms of kennel cough typically appear within 3 to 10 days AFTER exposure, but can range from 2 days to 2 weeks. Lucky's Bed and Bisquit has proven they are a well operated, caring dog care. Unfortunately, cannot please everyone. But to "slam" the establishment foolishly is shameful.

I have not had a problem with my pups following grooms neither physically or emotionally, so I have continued to bring them. However this time was the last time, undoubtedly. When I arrived to pick my Yankee up I was surprised to hear that their credit card system was not working. I do not carry cash on me and since I live so close by I left my phone behind when I left to pick up my dog. The girl at the counter was kind when she asked if I could zelle the payment when I got home, which I had no problem doing. However the "manager" (Chelsea I believe was her name), apparently didn't like the idea of that. She walked over with a nasty attitude asking me "what the problem was" and told me she would not be giving me my dog until I paid. Meanwhile my puppy was screeching for me and scratching under the gate. Obviously this was not a great way to approach the situation and I told her to call her boss to take my card info and let her know I will no longer be bringing my business there because of her managers treatment of me. She had a smirk as if she could care less, which is probably the case to be honest and that's just fine. And they don't know me or all the business I have sent their way that will also follow me after such disrespect. Such a shame. This place was really great until they started hiring these kind of people. Miss the old staff! I will be trying another place next month.
