Bleeding nail after returning from Grooming Station
    R. G.

I brought my dog home from Grooming Station and found blood all over my floors. Realized his back paw was bleeding and found his nail to be completely missing. Called the Grooming Station and they told me he must have got his nail caught on the cage or concrete after leaving and that I should put flour on it to stop bleeding. So I checked the rest of my dogs nails and found they were all ridiculously short. Of course they are going to bleed like that after being cut too short. Never going back.

We brought my Romeo back to The Grooming Station again for a visit with Tonya. Despite the fact that he's a Shih Tzu, he basically likes to roll around outside and be a hot mess all the time. He's like this free spirit trapped in this tiny fluff ball body. I mentioned this before, but Shih Tzus can be a hard breed to cut. They have a lot of hair, flat faces and noses, and a lot of hair around the eyes...and I fully realize sometimes he probably looks messy when we bring him in. Sometimes when Romeo gets a cut, he comes back with a football head akin to Hey Arnold. Tonya doesn't do this, which makes me so happy! He comes back with a great cut around the face and a super white coat. She really understands working with his breed and is very caring and considerate. Chelsea at the front desk is also very kind, and I appreciate how she dotes over Romeo for a minute before taking him back. My little dude is a scaredy cat, so I appreciate anyone who shows him a little extra love. The facility itself is very nice. If you peek through the window/door, you can see all the babies in the back, in cages, waiting to be groomed! It's pretty hilarious. We'll continue to bring Romeo here. If you need a suburban groomer, definitely choose The Grooming Station-- ask for Tonya!

There has to be underlying issues for the negative reviews as I have been taking my labs there for grooming for years and years. They are always super busy which is the true test of a well run business. All of their groomers are experienced and do excellent work. In all my years I have never seen any of the groomers being disrespectful to their customers. There has been a few times that it took a little longer than expected but upon inquiring as to reason why it was always because customers did not show up on time for their scheduled appointment, thus causing a day long backlog and causing the groomers to stay open hours after their scheduled closing time. And they never once cut corners with my dogs grooming. It got to be so bad that they had to start charging a late fee. Maybe reason for some negative reviews? I have gone to other groomers in the area but once I found The Grooming Station I would never even consider going anywhere else. Give them a try as I guarantee that you'll walk out a happy, satisfied customer and return time and time again.

I can't ever imagine taking him anywhere else, because the quality and service Amy provides is truly exceptional. Now, to be honest, Bud can be a bit difficult to groom as I suspect he had trauma in his life. He's not aggressive, but wiggly and difficult. Amy is so patient with my little old man and will work tirelessly to do the best job she can. Once when we arrived to pick him up, she was calmly sitting with him in a chair, trying to do gentle little snip snips as he would grumpily allow. His appointment was technically over, but she was still committed to giving him the best haircut possible. That patience and love meant a lot to me. That image sticks with me! The Grooming Station is a one-dog-at-a-time local business, so do you don't have to worry about other dogs barking, especially if yours is anxious. You can feel good about leaving your pooch in the capable hands of this loving, clean, and talented groomer!

I called her for our regular appointment and she let me know that she "can no longer groom him" and truly left me in the dust. I asked her why she didn't let me know about 4 weeks ago when I picked him up from his grooming and she replied, "oh sorry but ya no." This is just bad business and poor ethical ownership. I'm sad how little her loyal customers mean to her.

Grooming an older cat can be tricky and obviously risky, which can make the kitty (and kitty's mommy) very anxious of the experience. Lynda came directly to my residence to ensure the most comfortable environment for my cat. The moment she arrived, I knew we were in the best possible hands. Lynda was gentle, patient and clearly experienced. She took the time to understand my cat's needs, including her health condition, her thin and sensitive skin and she adjusted her approach quickly. She even turned peaceful purring music which calmed my cat... and me to be honest. What impressed me most was her calm, reassuring manner and how she prioritized my kitty's comfort before all else. My cat is like a new kitten, she comfortable, beautiful, soft, happy and so loving! Her coat is smooth matte and tangle-free. I had searched and searched and was turned down by all vets and groomers that I had contacted due to the age of my cat. Lynda was the only person willing to take on that risk so that my kitty could live comfortably. It's rare to find someone with exceptional grooming skills and a genuine live for animals, especially senior ones. I'm beyond grateful ad will absolutely call and refer Lynda anytime needed. I whole heartedly recommend Lynda with Bella Mio above any and all else. She's not just a groomer, she's a beautiful soul and definitely a cat whisperer!
