The first year we used Ryan Lawn, there was a huge improvement. Ben, who takes care of our lawn, is a wealth of information and can answer any questions about your lawn or any trees and shrubs. I have 5 arborvitae that were struggling after a rough winter. I asked Ben about it and he fertilized them. They've each grown a full foot since the fertilization. My lawn, trees and shrubs are absolutely thriving. If I ever have a problem or question, I can get ahold of Ben between treatments and he's happy to help. Additionally, after talking with Ben about a tree in my backyard that is dying, he set up a consultation with Ryan Lawn's consulting arborist. I ended up the top half of the tree removed. This tree was approximately 40 feet high. I had to leave my home before the job was completed and when I came home, I could not find a single leaf left over from the job. They removed every piece of debris from my backyard, from the side yard where they were carting the debris away, and from my driveway. Seeing how much debris was around and then seeing it after the fact, I was impressed. Ryan Lawn is a team of true professionals that really care about customer service.

I have talked to technicians onsite, and sent an email requests for this information. All along, I was told that BOTH bushes AND trees in my yard were being taken care of. I left it at that, and went on with my busy work travel/life. Now, I am WFH and I watched the Ryan Technician spray ONLY my bushes. I politely go out there and ask her why no trees... And she tells me the trees are not part of my program. I nicely said OK and that I would reach out to the office staff to discuss/understand. An hour later, I call the office and hear a familiar voice - it was the onsite technician - I ask if I have talked with her already today...she says no. I say again, your voice sounds very familiar...her answer the second time is yes, I did talk with you in your yard about an hour ago. Weird, but ok. I tell her that I have looked online and my program (that I pay for & have always had) is called the "Tree Program". She tells me that it's a funny name they use, because my trees are NOT part of that program, only my bushes. Imagine my frustration...so I tell her, can you look in my account and see how many times I have emailed about this over a 10+ year period. She tells me she cannot...that they have switched systems and did not "retain" any of the customer history. Again, imagine my frustration (and disbelief). I tell her that I would like to talk with the person that sold me the service - as I know he still works for the Ryan Lawn & Tree Company - because he told me everything was included in my yard. Keeping in mind that my online account with them says that I have signed up for the "Tree Program"...not the "Everything but Tree Program". She acknowledged that I had a right to be frustrated, said she would talk with the person that sold me the service. And that he would be reaching out to me within a day or two. That discussion...was over 4 weeks ago, nothing from anyone from the Ryan Lawn & Tree Company. Hopefully people reading this see it as a total watchout...poor service and communication. And lack of willingness to get to the bottom of an issue. There are lawn & tree services out there - one's that I hope have better integrity and follow through. Yes, I am canceling my service after 10+ years.

Be Cautious: Mother/Daughter Widow/Single, Siding replacement & Storm damage from Tree Fall…read more Left construction debris & nails in yard & driveway despite multiple requests to magnet sweep & clean their work area. 12ft pallets also left in the driveway. Poor communication & coordination between Evan's & skilled labor on site. Site supervisor was MIA for start of work. Homeowner had to modify work schedule to answer questions from skilled labor while Evan's site supervisor wasn't available & relay messages & site issues to Evan's.. Skilled laborers consistently expressed concern about materials not being available for tasks & left job unfinished. Work completed by site supervisor who didn't install per manufacturer's instructions & Evan's would not correct. They didn't abide by the contract which included & was quoted for replacement of broken wood from tree falling on roof in storm. Evan's repaired broken & splintered wood by either splicing or leaving broken pieces in place & nailing to 2x4s underneath. Structural, but not what was agreed upon in writing. Despite homeowner real-time feedback & suggestions daily during installation based on knowledge gained at an installation workshop hosted by the siding manufacturer AND the manufacturer corroborating the homeowner's feedback post installation after being invited to inspect by Evan's, Evan's STILL didn't correct all installation issues. They only repaired the most extreme issues, but the majority were left in place. They stated they'd been doing this for 30 years implying there was no way there was an issue & despite their policy stating to just call if there is an issue. If the siding manufacturer tells you there's an issue, I think it's an issue! Opinion: Obviously issues are not their concern from the way this job was mishandled & my concerns were disregarded from day one. Evan's removed back doorstep & didn't replace it. Original step still laying in the middle of the yard. Disconnected A/C unit without notice & left for the day, multiple instances. Rewired air conditioning unit incorrectly, throwing/sparking breakers. Broke internet fiber, required AT&T to repair. Despite all the above, payment was cashed within hours of receipt. Opinion: Apparently someone in the company prioritizes and has availability for what they need despite their claims to be customer-focused.

Each job was done to my specifications and every contractor made sure I was satisfied with the work before leaving the job site. They removed an old awning in the rear of the house. And they relocated the Downspouts to accommodate the installation of 5 rain barrels around the perimeter of the house.
