When the water was literally all over the dance floor, restrooms weren't available, people were slipping , my guest had to leave because there was no restrooms, the contract said for 200 people and only 160 were there and he wanted to say it was more than 200 people. He started yelling at everyone, my big day was ruined and I didn't even get my deposit back. We payed for security and he never showed up, he won't give me my money back, he was algo grabbing a lot of my desserts when it clearly said closed and he wasn't invited. He was also there almost in all of my party, taking pictures and took pictures of my husband and I which was a little weird but whatever, I have MANY more things to say, I don't understand how this place is still running.

It has a shabby chic vibe, heavy on the "chic" as there are beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceilings and gorgeous gauzey drapes. It's counterbalanced with the bit of (still upscale) "shabby" aspects in the reclaimed wooden pieces, exposed bits of brick in the walls, concrete floor, and wooden barn doors. Moss offers an entire room full of jars, candle holders, decor pieces, and other accent items you can use for your event, so definitely do not sleep on that aspect of their venue, too. We visited Moss Denver in Autumn so the greenery that you'll see on the grounds was not yet alive and blooming, so consider that if you visit during the winter or fall months. I'm sure the blooms of Summer or Spring add a whole other aspect of the natural ambiance! Aside from the moss, greenery, and chandeleirs, etc - Moss is mostly an empty slate. So you can bring your own design and personal touches to your event pretty easily, which is so great in a venue when you don't want a cookie cutter look. So I recommend definitely at least checking out Moss Denver as an option for weddings, corporate events, reunions, or any other event that needs a nice, pretty malleable space that will work for most any event needs.

Move in was easy, and needs that we had upon our move-in were addressed quickly. The space itself has a modern warehouse feel to it, which is great for creative and start-up type businesses. The location is fantastic adjacent to great restaurants and amenities. And, the amenities within the facilities are good (not great like some of the expensive coworking spaces in Denver) but expanding. The kegerator is admittedly my favorite perk. I do wish there was a bit more encouraged collaboration between tenants (like happy hours), but we've only been here a month, so perhaps something is coming up. The space does what it needs for our business, and I'm happy that we've found Cobalt!
