Our non-profit held an event at Franciscan Event Center for 200 people with a sit-down dinner. We were totally pleased. It was summer and the covered patio and garden area were fantastic for drinks and appetizers. Staff members were wonderful and very helpful-Daniel, Raj, & Jackie for set-up. i went to a memorial celebration last week. what a beautiful venue! The grounds are spectacular. it would be perfect for almost any event especially weddings. The main room is a good size set up nicely. The servers were friendly and efficient. The buffet was just ok. I definitely recommend this place. Very nice for meetings and events. There is a large parking lot off street (just off S. Revere & Arapahoe). Our company has bi-weekly meetings there. The room we use is always clean, they provide water and coffee and the restrooms are just off of the meeting space. Recommend if you have meetings, events or get togethers and need indoor or outdoor space. read more

I was at an event there over the weekend. From the gazebo looking in the venue was gorgeous but the banquet room had holes in the walls. It is not at all handicapped accessible. There wasn't a ramp and just 2 handicapped parking spots. read more

We visited many locations while searching for a venue in the early planning and once we met Sonja and saw the venue, we were in love and sold on The Franciscan Event Center located in Centennial. My daughter knew that was where she wanted to celebrate her wedding. The place is gorgeous, the staff is terrific, the food - amazing. My family and friends thought I got a second mortgage to give my only daughter her white sand beach wedding of her dreams, but it was actually reasonable. They have so many options available and kept your budget in mind. Not to mention they were the most affordable venue I checked into. They have truly made it easy for the bride. They are absolutely terrific, professional, helpful, sweet, caring, supportive, and help/guide us through every step along the way. Lots of decor onsite to choose from at no extra cost. Mix and match with your own to truly make it unique. Set up and cleanup is included in the price. And let me talk about the food. My guests raved about how delicious it was and the food presentation was gorgeous. We had 160 guests attend the wedding, not only did the staff cater to the wedding party and family they also catered to each guest going to every table and asking the guests if they needed anything. The bartender was very personal and knew every person's name as they came back for refills. Sonja worked with the wedding planner, the chaplain, the photographer and the DJ to create a wonderful experience, great food, stress free event. The atmosphere was so calming and beautiful; perfect setting for pictures in their beautiful marble gazebo, waterfall scenery and outdoor patio. We had an offsite corporate event that they catered. It was a pretty last minute order and they were very accommodating and polite throughout it, even as we had to make some changes. They worked with our schedule and were on time. The food was very popular with everyone and they gave huge portions for the amount of people we ordered for. I would definitely recommend them for any catering events you might have. They have an extremely varied menu for any type of event and price range. read more

We just had a wedding reception at the Franciscan Event Center and it was exceptional. This center really cares about your wishes and works hard to make sure things are perfect for the big day. They were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable during the planning stages of the event. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly and it was very plentiful. The wait staff was wonderful--helping children through the line, clearing plates away immediately and anticipating every need. The facility itself is beautiful, and the outside areas are perfect for pictures. This has to be the most professional and affordable wedding site in metro Denver. We held our auction fundraiser for the school and church here and could not be happier with our choice. The three separate spaces flow well together and allow tables to be set up and people to move without feeling crowded. The staff is probably the most impressive aspect! Sonja and John were incredible about communicating with us prior to the event to make sure all of our needs would be met. They were accommodating about making the space fit our precise needs. Most importantly, day of,they were polite, professional, and attentive. And they managed to complete all the serving without ever seeming like they were in the way. The food is delicious! People were raving about the passed appetizers, salad, entrees, and desserts. All the portions were great and everything was presented beautifully. So many people in our church community commented on how much they enjoyed the venue that we will definitely be returning again next year. Our South High School Class of 1963 - 50th Reunion held both our Friday Night Mixer and our Saturday Night Dinner at The Franciscan Event Center and we can't say enough about this location and their entire staff. To say it was fantastic is an understatement. Working with Sonja on the initial arrangements was professional, fun and so easy. She made it seamless and was happy to accommodate all of our extra touches that we wanted to add. They had all the necessary decor, ambiance and setup that included our beautiful purple and white colors. The Franciscan site is elegant yet down-to-earth both inside and on the patios and in the surrounding gardens. The staff that worked both our nights was exemplary! Always smiling, talented, quick, professional, attentive . . . you name it, they did it. And the food . . . was it wonderful. There wasn't an alumnus in attendance that wasn't thrilled with their experience. Thank you . . . Thank you.
