Previous review says ok? Mmmmmm...... Bad day at the office dear?! Large gym, multiples of equipment....busy free weights area as prior review stated, but would suggest picking an off peak time or even a gym that caters specifically for this (but don't forget you need to work at that cardio if your bulking out....look after your ticker and keep the oxygen going to your brain!) if this is your thing and you want the unbelivably cheap membership. Very clean, staff and members all helpful. Would suggest an info area somewhere close to the door and a correlation between online booking and trainers awareness of the booking, as this would prevent idiotic 40 year olds wandering around like a lemon looking for the personal trainer and changing rooms etc ....... Also a clear email to bring a suitably sized padlock for locker and coins for rehydration (although I'm sure I spotted 3 water fountains....used two for sure) for us headless chickens who are continuously chasing our tail feathers..... Doh! Oh, and cameras a plenty and coded entry to changing rooms, if you are a late night exercise bunny and you are concerned about safety....site security is tight with Star Trek style entry pods!
Personal trainer Eric was a brilliant taskmaster....... Just what I need as marathon approaches! You get a free initial session!
Like all things, if it is not tailor made just for you, you will always find something to have a whinge about (and, let's face it, us Brits are good at whinging!), but Bannatynes, top notch etc etc all had big price tags and big queues for the kit, which was often only singular provision and sometimes quite worn.....and definitely not always clean....... On reflection, this gym is a no brainer! So cheap, try it, if no likey, no problem, just cancel eh? read more
