I would recommend this gym to anyone, the equipment is very good and the place is always clean. I've used most of the gyms in Leicester but the gym is the only one that suits all of my needs especially being open 24 hrs a day which is ideal because of the hours I work. My only gripe is that some members seem to have a problem understanding gym rules ie returning dumbells to there correct places, and using sweat towels, this should be monitored and enforced a lot more than it is to ensure all members are able to enjoy their workouts completely. read more

One of the worst gyms I have ever seen. There is a huge amount of space for useless machines and a tiny free weights section. There is no reception desk and the pathetically small free weights section is inadequate at all times of the day. There is also hardly any equipment barring the machines. The coup de grais as far as I am concerned is the fact you cannot view the place prior to joining. It is sneaky and wrong. Avoid at all costs! read more

Open 24hrs which is great as I can attend around my working hours. The gym is well maintained, cleaned daily and redecorated on a regular basis with very little disruption to members. For such a cheap no contract monthly payment, you can't go wrong. All equipment is state of the art and numerous, so you are not interrupting your session waiting for kit. The gym I train at in Leicester is spacious but has no windows although this may be good for privacy, but is in no way dim, it is bright and airy. A 24 hour gym is a great concept for an afternoon shift worker like me requiring only a PIN number for entry. I train midnight onwards after my shift, unfortunately, the changing rooms are closed between midnight and four for cleaning (suppose they have to be cleaned sometime!). My only criticism is that between these hours, only a very few lockers are available outside of the locked changing rooms. Since you use your own padlock to secure them, it appears (although not allowed) that some people are leaving theirs locked even when not attending the gym, tut,tut. This should be policed better or maybe possibly replacing with coin operated key removal systems.. I spent one training session carrying my kit and coat around the gym with me! But this is my only criticism, I advise anyone training at night to change at home, just in case. Happy training. read more

Fantastic gym, has a wide variety of cardio equipment and good space for those abs exercises. The weights area is a good size. i usually train in the evenings where its not so busy. the fact that its open 24 hours is great, and the free parking is a great bonus. The trainers are very unprofessional and would rather just stand there posing then actually doing their jobs. Most of them in the Leicester branch think they are gods gift and beneath their customers. Reality check needed ASAP. read more

Good basic gym. The price says it all. Biggest problem is parking if you wanna go by car. The GS car park used to be handy and is discounted, trouble is its full of white vans these days and you can't get parked. For me this is a big deal and might end up leaving to go to a gym where parking isn't a big hassle. If you don't mind this then this gym is great. Watch out for the lockers though. Have seen several broken into. Always keep keys phone etc. with you in the gym. read more
