On my third visit the owner finally asked why she hadn't gotten me blonde yet, and told her to use a higher level lift. Wow, really? No toner again. I left there with yellowish hair, and still some red streaks. Time for a new salon. Never did get my platinum blonde. Emily MacKenzie does a great job with cut and color. One of her colleagues told me this is the only full-service salon in Athens. My mom comes here to dye her eyelashes, they also do mani/pedi nail stuff, massages, waxing, etc. During the times of waiting for the coloring to set in, they let me sip on a strawberry margarita they made in the other room. Sometimes they offer wine, but they were out of that the afternoon when I went. I would love to return here again for more, since they weren't as crowded and busy as Osmosis, maybe because they are a little more off of a main road in Athens.

When I told the stylist my hair was hard to hold a curl, no question ask, she used a very small rod! The curls were very tight, I knew after a couple of washings it would be perfect, I was right.
