The family business is the best! I have been going to Angelica and Tiffany well over 10 years. I have followed them from salon to salon. When they told me they were opening their own place, I could not have been more excited. These sisters are wonderful. The salon is always clean. The entire staff is friendly and just as skilled as the owners. They can do it all here, and if they can't, they find a way! Most open up and get comfortable with their services and skills, not here. Since opening (and I think 5 or 6 years now), they had added so many other services they offer. I'm very happy I found her and this great place tucked away in my own neighborhood because I don't get an extensive service like this very often, so it was a treat from start to finish 10/10. read more

I had a terrible experience with a chain salon that messed my hair up so badly that I was in tears. The Hair Room got me in for a 15 minute consult next day. They took the time to go over options with me and I left feeling confident that my hair could be salvaged. The stylist did more than "salvage" my hair, she rocked it out of the park! The placement of the highlights was fixed, she mixed the most PERFECT mermaid-teal, cut some bitchin' layers in, and curled it. I was absolutely in love with my hair when she was done! I recently cut my hair short and donated it. The stylist, NOT at this salon, told me layers weren't s good idea for my thick curly hair. Wellll I hated it. It was a big poofy bob with no shape. I don't know about you but I am very particular who cuts my hair, I have had too many disastrous cuts before & I do NOT want that to happen again....so a friend recommended this new place in Blasdell, NY. I know I was taking a chance but I really need a hair cut before a Christmas Party. So I drove from North Tonawanda to Blasdell, crossing the Skyway was NOT my favorite route. The Salon is set back in the Sav-A-Lot Plaza so I did pass the place at 1st. Once I was there I had a very warm reception by the Stylist & I told her what I was looking for & ask her suggestions, I found out that the last place that Cut my Hair (still need to do a review on them) had cut my hair longer on one side. I did NOT want that look, so she kindly corrected that error & than went on to give me a fabulous Hair Cut & threw in a Blow Out as well.....all for $10 that was a Christmas Deal. I was Happy w how quickly I was given an Appointment & the precision of the Salon. These 2 sisters who worked @ Salons in Buffalo decided that they were ready to Open there own Salon. They found an ideal building & created their Salon. This was a risky decision for these 2 sisters but they decided to take a chance & I do believe that they have & will succeed very nicely. So if you are looking for a New Hair Cut, Style, Color or just want a Blow Out for the Evening give this place a Call you won't be sorry....& remember I am very Picky!! read more

I asked my stylist to highlight my hair to help with my grey transition. Well, 3 hours later, my hair was stripped, over processed and falling out a day later. I ended up having to go to Salon Savy to have them fix my hair which meant cutting it off and getting lowlights to cover the overbleached and fried hair. Don't go there for a grey transition, Tiffany ruined my hair. read more

Off the bat, I want to say my hair looks fantastic and the service I received was great. The rating I am giving is due to deceptive pricing. The price I paid for highlights, lowlights, and a cut was almost twice what I normally pay at comparable salons and, to me, doesn't match the prices on their website. I have been getting my hair colored for over 15 years and I have never had to pay extra for a cut and style after having my hair highlighted- it is always included in the price of the highlights. I called afterwards to ask for verification of the price I paid and it seems that each service is an extra charge. It was an extra $60 to add the lowlights, an extra cost for the toner, and then I was charged for the cut and style all on top of the price of the highlights. To me, $230 is a price I would expect to pay in a big city. I was really taken aback by this price for a salon in Blasdell. read more
