Going to the pub in my active-wear!!! OMG So much fun! We had an absolute ball with the guys at Handlebar Adelaide. Corey and Ashlan were all over it from the get-go, laying down the rules but in a nice way, so as not to dampen the mood. I was the only safety-conscious participant, but be warned on the waiver you have to write a statement confirming you refuse to wear a safety helmet (obv for legal reasons which I totally understand). We had to nominate our choice of drinks beforehand from a well-crafted and good-looking pdf menu. A lot of us hadn't finished all four of their drinks by the time we returned because we stopped at a couple of other pubs on the way. You can choose to elect the pubs you stop at apparently, but we let the guys choose where we went because there was a festival on in Victoria Square. There were waves from basically everyone on the street and plenty of honks from the cars too, not to mention a couple of hairy fast peddling moments busting through the traffic lights! We jumped off at the Benjamin on Franlkin before a quick toilet stop and one last ride around the block to use up all of our time. There were a million laughs had, noone had a bad time and although a few of us were a little unfit noone was pooped by the end. Note: Bring a pre-loaded Ipod or mobile with tunes as they have a USB with a speaker system. Super cool, super fun, I highly recommend you try it! read more

A fun afternoon with friends cycling and drinking around Adelaide. Organisers had a great vibe and have a great set-up but unfortunately on our visit despite us all arriving early, our tour only started 20mins after the start-time. I love that you can plan the route but make sure you've got a great leader who can make sure you get back in time (extra minutes cost extra). We made it back in time and enjoyed the race to the finish line. The pre-booking of drinks is a great idea and the prices are pretty good. We had some drinks go missing so might be a good idea to double-check before starting the tour. I loved we could crank our tunes and it was indeed a workout- but a fun one. read more

The Handlebar Adelaide was such a great experience, and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone and everyone that likes to drink and have a fun time with friends and meet cool people! The tour consisted of pedaling around downtown Adelaide and drinking with 2 other groups besides myself. We all had heaps of fun socializing and hanging out! I will be doing this again and bringing more friends!! read more
