We stayed in the pineapple room in the lower level and absolutely loved it! Janelle was wonderful as she helped me sneak some champagne and chocolate-covered fruits into the room. We had a great stay. We opted for the cottage and I am glad we did. There we lots of nice touches and they were able to cater to my dietary needs. Everyone was friendly and I never heard any extra noise, even being close to O'Malley's Pub. Our room had a jacuzzi tub which we used twice. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the cheese tray and complimentary beverages. It is a short distance to Main Street and has its own parking which I thought was very helpful. My husband and I came to stay here for my birthday and had a great experience. We stayed in the Louis and Clark suite, which was very comfortable. I liked that there was a seating area in our room where we could enjoy our "happy hour" after we arrived. The hosts left two mini bottles of wine, as well as cheese and crackers, for us to have in our room. There was also complimentary bottled water and soda available. The room itself was very quiet- it almost felt like we were the only ones staying at the b&b- and the bed was comfortable. The older decor is part of the character of the house. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful and they will tailor it to your specific dietary restrictions. The bread pudding French toast was delicious. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for a little getaway in Weston. read more

The Hatchery House - Breakfast is awesome at the Hatchery House B&B!! - Bed & Breakfast Near Me - Weston, Missouri

My wife and I enjoyed our one night stay at The Hatchery House. Having been to Weston a month earlier, we knew the location well and specifically picked Hatchery for that reason. It's off of the main street but next door to O'Malley's Pub and a short walk from Pirtle Winery. We also liked the fact that it's a historic building. The common areas of the Hatchery House were nice. The entry has a brick parking lot which they claim can hold four cards but I have my doubts. On this day, we had a total of three. Four seems like it would be a tight squeeze. In front of the entry way, there were a variety of plants and flowers on the patio with a water fountain and some table and chairs. Inside, the lobby was nice. The innkeeper was friendly and gave us a rundown of the hotel and what we could expect. The best part was the old fashioned phone booth in the lobby. The phone even works! Just down the hall, there was a living area for someone that might want to watch a little television. The room was dated and in need of some TLC. The wallpaper was peeling in parts but otherwise, it was clean and nicely appointed with antiques. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Our biggest complaint with the Clemmie Suite was the tiny bathroom but that's to be expected in a historic building. They serve a country style breakfast and you don't get to select what you want. Instead, they bring to you whatever is being served that morning. It consisted of french toast which was delicious, scrambled eggs with a medley of mushrooms and other veggies which weren't quite to my liking, sausage, strawberries, and orange slices. I suspect that while my wife and I will go back to Weston in the future, Hatchery didn't stand out enough for us to have to stay there again. This has more to do with the other options in the area with some many unique places to stay than it does with Hatchery because we did enjoy stay. read more

This adorable B&B in Weston is a fantastic place to stay if you're visiting. The rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms (with jacuzzi tubs) are so wonderful. Recently spent 1 night here with the girlfriend in an attempt to get out of Kansas City for a day. The house was beautiful and Darcy (we both loved that we shared a name; its not often two Darcys meet each other in the wild) was a lovely host. The rooms were spacious, well decorated, and clean. No TVs or WiFi made it even better. We were there on a weeknight but I think on weekends they do wine tasting in the evening. The breakfast was pretty good; not the best I've ever had but not the worst either. I think one of the best parts of this B&B is the location--it is stumbling distance from O'Malleys and Pirtle. Price-wise it was on par with the other B&Bs in Weston. read more

My sister and I stayed in the Cottage Room over Labor Day weekend. The breakfast is amazing! When you book your room, you can specify any dietary restrictions and Janelle also followed up with me when we checked-in just to make sure what was okay and not. My sister did not have restrictions, so she got the daily breakfast and I got a modified version. There was a couple there the same time as us that had other restrictions, and they received a slightly modified version of what I had. Both of our breakfasts were hearty and wonderful. The first day was bacon, eggs, a muffin, fruit and a delicious yogurt w/ honey and gluten free "granola" for the traditional breakfast. My breakfast had a gluten-free muffin and a nice tomato and avocado salad instead of the yogurt (dairy modification). The second morning, the traditional breakfast was bacon, eggs, orange slices, and a blueberry waffle, and my breakfast included extra ham and a plum in lieu of the waffle. I wish I had taken pictures to do it justice. Janelle really puts together a wonderful plate of food. The room was very comfortable and spacious. We didn't feel like we were bumping into each other. Because it is in a separate building than the main house, we had our own coffee pot (coffee is also available before breakfast in the main house) and deck area. It should be noted that the Cottage Room has a jacuzzi tub but no shower. There is a shower extension, but the line does not stretch above your head, so showering is a process. I am of a shorter height and really had to be careful getting in and out of the tub. It would not be recommended for folks with mobility issues. They also do a happy hour on the weekends, which is nice. Overall, we will stay there next time we go, but probably not in the Cottage Room. read more

A very cute B&B in a really cute town. A great location that is within walking distance to O'Mallys pub, Pirtle winery, and the downtown shops. It is also not a far drive to Green Dirt Farm and the Holladay distillery. The hosts were very nice and went above and beyond to make our stay special. We stayed in the Lewis and Clark Suite which was comfortable. We loved the sitting area in the room and the fire pit in the back yard. The breakfast was wonderful and we loved the happy hour and coffee service in the morning. read more

This was an absolutely wonderful experience. The room was spotless, the decor cozy and inviting. Our room had a separate entrance. The weather was stifling hot outside.......109 degrees with a heat index of 132. The room was nice and cool. THe breakfast was remarkable, the owner, Jan was friendly and accomodating. We had a great time this last weekend in Weston. The B&B was just the perfect location in town. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The B&B was very nicely decorated and the gardens were very pretty. The owners made themselves available for anything we needed. We stayed in the cottage and there were many little things that were nice surprises....table with dishes, bath robes, toiletries, patio. Then - breakfast was so pretty it was hard to eat! A great weekend in Weston at this B&B to celebrate our anniversary. We stayed in the Cottage adjacent to the main home. Drew and Janelle were great hosts and make an amazing breakfast! It is close to everything you want to do in Weston. A great coffee shop, the wine tasting rooms and the pub next door. Drew even had a complimentary wine tasting voucher for a couple of the wineries that he gave to us. The room was very cute and the bed was comfortable! We will definitely be returning there again! My family and I stayed at the Hatchery House recently for my daughters wedding in the area. There was some confusion at the beginning about who was staying in what room due the fact I received in mid-2016 and it changed hands somewhere along the line. We did finally get everything straightened out. Our stay was very nice and we really enjoyed having the place to ourselves. My husband and I recently stayed here for our 15th Anniversary. What a lovely experience! Janelle & Drew helped make our celebration even more special by making arrangements for wine, flowers, and hand-dipped chocolate covered strawberries to be in our room upon arrival. We were met by Janelle with a warm and gracious greeting. She gave us a tour of the home and all the amenities. We wanted for nothing! Our room, the Lewis and Clark, was spacious and well appointed: a private bathroom, sitting room with fireplace and separate bedroom. The antiques and decor were beautiful and really added to the charm of our stay. Our bed was so soft and inviting! Breakfast was promptly served the next morning and was delicious! We were able to leisurely enjoy the freshly prepared meal in a lovely breakfast room upstairs. The location of Hatchery House is perfect for enjoying the many other locations in Weston. We walked to the Vineyards for dinner and afterwards we visited O'Malley's for some fun Irish tunes and cocktails. All within steps of our home for the night! They also have off-street parking for registered guests, which, if you've visited the tiny streets of Weston, you'll understand how important this is. Well done Drew and Janelle! This was my husband's and I's first experience with a Bed & Breakfast and it happened to be our wedding day/night as well. It was a wonderful experience! The Innkeeper, Joseph, called me the day of check in to see how early we would need to check-in due to the wedding. He informed me that our room, the Quilt Room, would be ready by the time we needed and that he would also have the Cottage ready too. The Cottage is a separate room/house detached from the main house that offers more privacy. It is not advertised on their website and usually is known due to word of mouth. My suggestion is to stay in the Cottage if it is available The Cottage is a huge room that has a very comfortable king size bed (the only one there), a jacuzzi tub, a flat screen T.V, a mini fridge stocked with pop and water (you may restock from the fridge at the main house), a coffee maker, and a private deck. Because of the extra bit of privacy I was able to get my hair and makeup touched up before going over to Weston Brewing Company/O'Malley's for our wedding. In the morning Joseph cooked us a delicious breakfast that consisted of a quiche, bacon, potatoes, and fresh fruit. He had orange juice and fresh coffee ready for us to go along with our breakfast as well as flavored creamer for our coffee. Joseph was a great host not only for telling us about the Cottage and making a delicious breakfast but he also made us feel very welcomed and taken care of. He even gave us a tour of the main house and filled us in on the history of the house. We definitely enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again! read more

My hubby and I stayed back in May 2012 with family and had a wonderful experience. We stayed again recently and it was a huge disappointment. The owners don't live on the property and I don't think they even live in Weston. The Innkeeper that was moving out was rude and shouldn't have been dealing with guests under any circumstances. We stayed in the Quilt/Jacuzzi tub room. The room definitely needs to be updated and/or repaired. The dresser had a damaged drawer and the front of it kept falling off on to the floor. The bathroom was a total disaster. The toilet seat was broken and almost falling off of the toilet. The toilet also moved and was leaking water since the seal around the bottom was damaged. The handheld shower on the jacuzzi tub was also leaking water. There was barely any water pressure or hot water. It took almost one hour to fill up the jacuzzi tub to even be able to use it. There were times that it was hard to even wash your hands in the sink due to the bad water pressure. There were also problems with bugs including a larger centipede or millipede and ants in the bathroom. There were also a lot of flying and biting ladybugs in the bedroom. We didn't eat breakfast since I have multiple dietary restrictions and the Innkeeper really didn't want to discuss them with me. I couldn't risk getting sick. Supposedly a new Innkeeper has been hired and is supposed to be starting soon. We have spoken to the female owner about everything. We really weren't all that impressed with our conversation with her especially after everything that occurred during our stay. There are other places to stay in Weston so we will be staying someplace else the next time that we visit there. There are just too many different issues going on at this B & B and it doesn't help that the owners don't live on the property and keep going through different Innkeepers. Guests shouldn't have to be subjected to so many issues. read more
