This clinic has rude reception staff and poor scheduling. I had my first appointment an hour before they closed and was rushed to see 3 different people within 30 minutes. In the 10 minutes with the nurse, I was recommended to buy supplements from them. I was rushed to talk to the gatekeeper of GLP-1s (literally one person who you talk to to get it, dose it, pay for it and the pricing is as expensive as it gets), after 5 minutes, was rushed to have my blood drawn, then stood at reception and the GLP-1 lady found me to continue the sales pitch. My second appointment, I got a text from them 2 hours before my appointment, which I didn't see as I was at work, and get to the office to be rudely told about it. Seriously, it is not the message of rescheduling that makes me upset. These women were unprofessional. It is inconvenient to make it to appointments during the workday, they should be gracious and attentive. The nurse didn't show up, that isn't my fault, but apparently it wasn't the receptionists' problem either as I missed the text. They made that part superbly clear. Overall, this clinic feels chaotic and I don't trust "Dr. Salesman" health advice, so I am not going back. read more

We have a friend that recommended THS, in particular Dr. Baker. We decided we needed to go on a weight loss program and thought this would be the right place, even though it is not convenient for us. We began in late 2024 and the first 2 appts we were confused as to how to continue. The Dr. was thorough, but it felt that she didn't want to close the deal and left us hanging. We then requested another Dr. and were sent to Dr. Taylor Smith. He was awesome, attentive and we thought it would be a great experience. We do not live in IF and it was tricky to make appointments due to their and our schedule and it would require us to take days off work to attend appts. This was costly and inconvenient, but we did the best we could. One time I ordered supplements to be mailed to us. It was 3 1/2 weeks before they arrived. Their excuse was that they took them to the mailing department at MVH and they sent them out. I could have walked to IF and picked them up by the time they arrived. In the meantime, my husband had an unexpected day off, so he drove to IF and picked up the supplements needed. It was still another week before the mailed ones arrived. We last saw Dr. Smith in Feb, nearly 6 months ago now, and have had NO follow up from THS to see how we are doing and if we need to make another appointment to monitor our weight loss. My husband has been as patient as he can but lost it on their office a couple of times. They don't return phone calls as needed, and it seems it is all the patient's responsibility to do all the follow up. We have successfully lost over 110 combined pounds and have decided to take another route as their customer service is lacking in our opinion. Maybe our expectations are more than they can provide, but it appears that they have spent a fortune on a beautiful building but have failed to train their staff to provide the care and service that would match the beauty of the building and expectations of the clientele. I do like Darla and Dr. Smith and would recommend them but feel that some serious customer service training is needed. If you have an upscale building and business model, then your staff should be trained to provide upscale services like a 5-star hotel vs a super 8 motel. I recommend that all staff members read "Raving Fans" a book by Ken Blanchard and Sheldon Bowles that lines out what great customer service should look like. read more

This place should never have been allowed to open the business in the neighborhood they are in. They and their clients are a menace. They clog traffic from flowing properly. They block neighborhood services, leaf collection, trash collection, delivery trucks. The bosses are actually telling the employees to not park around the building so they can get leaf pick up, meanwhile we are kept from the service with their cars parked in our neighborhoods. They block people's driveways, and access to the dumpsters in the alleyways for the residents. And they don't care. As far as the service they provide it seems like they don't care about the clients much either from the reviews posted. read more

The Doctor and nurses were friendly and good to discuss things with however, two issues I found was the receptionist is quite loud in discussing your private items being paid for. Secondly, the charges for routine bloodwork were absolutely outrageous. Never have I ever had the multiple thousands of dollars for routine blood work charged. First off, the place is gorgeous. It feels like a upscale hotel & spa. BUT, Dr. Baker completely dismissed my concerns & denied that I have a disease that I've suffered with for years and has been confirmed by an expert in that field through surgery. He offered nothing but condescension and false information. No help or suggestions for my concerns: Additionally, amid the covid pandemic NO ONE (including the receptionists, nurses, and doctors) who worked there was wearing a mask. I understand that masks are uncomfortable and unpleasant but medical professionals who are serving the immunocompromised and at risk should know better and be more considerate. read more

The staff is pretty chill and laid back. The reception is really awesome! Went to see Doctor Jordan and he was down to earth and brought some good vibes. He wanted to get to root cause of my problems. He listened very well and gave me a few options to choose from as in how I want to take my treatment. Then I went to see the nutritionist, Karen, and she also brought some chill vibes and was very knowledgeable about foods and alternative solutions for weight loss. Can't wait to put that plan into play and get my intestines back to normal. Seen the blood lab (damn vampire's) and the hispanic nurse was super funny and cool and even though I warned her about my veins she tried anyways. Well she failed which is okay. She got an awesome ICU nurse to suck the life outta me and usually it takes two or more nurses to get my blood and I spend forever in lab. 4 pokes and she got the blood! Not only was she good at but she was friendly and soothing. I gotta go back to see Marci and I'm pretty sure I won't be disappointed. read more

I went in to check on my "mistaby" (gestational sack that had developed with no baby) because nothing had come out yet. I met with the nurse practitioner, Pamela Parsons I think, and it was like she heard absolutely nothing I said. I told her how far along the gestational sack had been dated and how long it had been and that nothing had come out of me and there was no period. (based on what came out of me later, she certainly should have known what was going on). Instead of addressing reality, she spent the whole time basically trying to sell me a book about getting hormones back to normal through diet. We mentioned we weren't on any birth control, so she ordered a pregnancy test just in case. It came back a faint positive and she declared that I was pregnant and I was whisked off to an ultrasound I didn't need. Low and behold, it showed a hole lot of old stuff that was probably the source of the hormones that produced the positive on the pregnancy test. I knew I wasn't really pregnant again, but what do I know? I'm just the person who has all this going on. Anyways, really disappointed with the nurse practitioner. We met with the doctor later and he was nice...but he couldn't give any information on billing. Nothing. And they scheduled me for a DC without talking to me. We found out that the insurance would not cover them so we took our ultrasound elsewhere. I got the feeling they really wanted me to get the DC rather than take the pill to cause the miscarriage more for the money than for the risks. read more
