Horrible at calling back and filling scripts in a timely manner. It's all phone calls and no real counseling

I have been a patient of Dr. Fitzgerald for a few years now. She is excellent! I came to her struggling with quite a few issues, and her approach is compassionate, friendly and professional. Dr Pelosi also sees me periodically to check my progress, and she is very detail oriented. She makes absolutely sure your care and progress are consistent. I highly recommend. read more

Although it sounds like all of the Doctors in this place are pretty awful, Dr. Shah Nawaz of The Healthy Mind Psychiatric Services, St. Mary's Hospital & 'A Taste of Hyderabad,' Authentic Indian Cuisine Restaurant, is a horendous excuse for a Medical Professional. He & the entire staff could care less about their patients. They could care-less about their patients in general it seems, should anyone of them dare to carry so much as a $1 balance. This is when the Office Managers/Receptionists come alive & really shine, showing their true colors & true-calling as Debt Collectors, (which they'll probably get the chance to pursue full-time very soon.) Butthey just gotta get "Doctor" his $1! (They refer to Dr. Nawas simply as "Doctor," which is so strange & uncomfortable when the Receptionist says it, Ugh! It gives the vibe of an Off-the-Books Sex Dungeon/Lounge everytime she refers to him merely as "Doctor." Gross! And beware, ye who dare have even the smallest of ballances with them, forget whatever you're there for, mental illnes be damed, the almight buck rules supreme with this Doctor, @ this office, health & patientcare, well all "that" goes out the window entirely. They could give a shit. Instead debt consumes them & they pursue you to the ends of the earth, regardless of situation or circumstance, b/c all they are concerned with is "Doctor's" obvious financial troubles, requiring every $1 be accounted for & gathered. And even if on a strict Rx Protocol, don't even think about it, Doctor isn't prescribing you shit until your balance is paid in full! (this Doc don't care about any Hippocratic Oath or Malpractice violations. "ha, not this Doctor." Anytime he faces Malpractice charges/lawsuites, he just takes an extended holiday back to India, no worries. But be careful with regard to paying off that balance, & definately don't get sick & wait too long, b/c he'll kick you loose with no medication, even positive with Covid-19 with a fever of 103, he doesn't care, he's more Sociopath than symothetic Doctor. He'll just discharge you as a patient, even after 11 years as having been a STELLAR Patient, 100% ALWAYS Paid-Up at time of service, the type of Patient/Client that follows the rules & regulations of the office & the Doctor, etc to the "t," & who absolutely isn't a "deadbeat," not at all, just a victim of unfortunate recent circumstance(s) that lead to a small balance on account, waiting to get over Covid to pay balance in person, in office. And despite all the history, a guarantee (plus guarantor) to settle the majority of the balance immediately, even before you'd really like to do in person at the next visit when finally physically healthy enough to drive to the Office & make a payment, b/c with this patient, $ is absolutely NOT an issue. Not that it matters, although I'm happy about it, this patient probably makes 10 times what the NOT GOOD Doctor does annually, this patient "me" has simply been sick with covid, etc. But, NOPE! Not good enough for this Doctor & his Office of Horrors, he discharged me, w/o providing any amount of medication or anything. fCurrent SUBOXONE PATIENTS PLEASE SEAK ALTERNATIVE RESOURCES FOR YOUR SUBOXONE NEEDS ASAP! All w/o ever having to pay for gas &/or drive to see another Dr. Nawaz-type nobody say nothing to you as he send your RX in. But if that's not for you, use the Suboxone.com website to find local area Prescribing Physician & pick a new one ASAP. Because, just a hunch, but I don't think Dr. Nawaz & his Marry Band of Low Class Script Peddlers will be around too much longer. If I could give zero stars, I would. I just checked my phone log, I called them 14 times over the past month. They have answered the phone 1 time. I left 6 messages and they called me back once. I figured I would go there in person during the hours on the phone greeting. The door was locked, but I could see a girl at the front desk who was on her cellphone. I called them and the girl looked down at the phone and left the room. A few minutes later she came to the door, and I made an appointment. The day I was supposed to have my telehealth call, I waited, and nobody ended up calling me. Later I got a call from the person I was supposed to talk to via telehealth saying she didn't see the appointment and was sorry, so I rescheduled. Finally, after talking to her for half an hour, I was told I had to make an appointment with another person, who asked me all the same questions. Finally, I was able to get a prescription for my ADHD after 6 weeks of jumping through hoops. The meds they prescribed were ineffective, so I called, again, during business hours, and nobody answered the phone. So I drove to the practice and of course, the doors were locked, and the lights were off. It seems like nobody takes this business seriously, like it's some side hustle. The most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. I see I'm not the only one who has given them 1 star. I should have read the reviews first. I hope I can save someone from going through what I have. read more

Worst place for psychiatry. Lori Pelosi has unwarranted bias and causes more anxiety, pain, and suffering instead of helping to relieve and manage it. Don't waste your time, money, and energy on this place. They don't return calls or do their job despite taking your money. read more

I was a patient of Mary Miller for MANY years, unfortunately, Ms. Miller left this office. I was told that I was going to see a new provider, I was given an appointment 10 days out. I informed them that I was out of medication and that it was important for them to fill them out for me. Various times they reported they will do so, but never did. Eventually I was told they couldnt fill my medication until I see my new provider. Fine, I asked to see the provider that day since I was out of medication for 4 days already, they said I needed to wait the other 6 days until my new provider could see me. Dr. Nawaz refused to provide me with 6 days of medication until my appointment. I should also add that they are horrible following up with phone calls and some (not all) the secretaries do not know how to work with the clients. Completely sad to see Mary Miller go, however the way they were treating her was not appropriate and at the end she was happy to be leaving the practice. read more

I was a faithful patient for a few years and did what I was told took my meds saw my therapist was wonderful! Lori Polosi also told me I was fat because I "ate too much" when I wasn't eating at all I wanted to change meds I was misdiagnosed and she refused to help me get the right diagnosis, she absolutely does NOT care about me or my issues and to top it off my identity was used and I had the embarrassing task of trying to prove to her I wasn't "double dipping" even showed proof of it on my license she doesnt care no compassion what's so ever and I changed to Mary Miller for that reason. I was always on time even early for my appointments, then one day I was running late for an appointment I CALLED the office and said id be ten minutes late, when I got there I was on time and Mary was just getting there and the receptionist who was ALWAYS very nice to me told me I had to wait for another patient now because I was late, I said well I called and im actually not late? Mary unknowing who her next patient was had taken the other patient who's appointment was much later than mine she just happened to be there early, Mary Miller was wonderful caring and patient with me and all her patients it was obvious the way that entire office treated her they wanted her gone. She deserves better treatment from her staff and be allowed to be the caring person she is, its sad to hear she left, but GOOD FOR HER! read more
