He's open to talk about anything that is an issue at that time or previous issues. He remembers the members of your family and what was previously talked about. Before prescribing meds, he educated you on that particular medication. If you don't feel comfortable with it, he'll try to find one that fits you. The office is efficient and effective. Super nice people. Never had billing problems or rescheduling issues. I would recommend him to anyone that's looking for help.

I was having a very difficult time and I called his office up as a new patient. They saw me that day, without hesitation. June, the receptionist, is wonderful at calling to remind you of appointments, dealing with insurance, and scheduling. She always has a smile on her face. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to see the doctor - once I came at 4:30 for a 5:00 appointment, was brought in 5 minutes before my appointment time, and Dr. Han apologized to me for having to wait! I told him no need to apologize, he's actually seeing me early. Dr. Han listens to you and gives you the time you need with him. He is very open to suggestions regarding treatment and is happy to consider your opinions on things. He does not rush you or make you feel like a number. I am so happy with this office and I highly recommend it!

I began working with Tides of Mind around 2021, my experience began without problems. Then after 3 years of working with the same therapist, I rescheduled an appointment and then stopped hearing from this individual and have yet to hear back from them 7 months later. Shortly after being ghosted by my therapist my psychiatrist left to pursue their own practice, and I was transferred to another psychiatrist who communicated with me that they were resigning after only our second meeting. Overall, I DO NOT blame the individual psychiatrists, however it was extremely disappointing to have my therapist not properly terminate our relationship, as well as to have 3 psychiatrists in 3 months.

Dr. Shah has showed this to me on more than one occasion!! I thought maybe that doesn't have to be important to me as long as my medication is being given to me no big deal! After constantly being given unprofessional treatment it takes a toll on your mental well-being. I have been having problems since day 1 of my prescription. Any normal insurance company no matter how good they are will not pay for 4 scripts in a month !! This is how he has designed to give them to me the very first month and believe me I understand bc a Dr. Needs to see how you are reacting to the medicine. But after 2 weeks a body will stabilize. That's the way the human body works!!! Well month 2 my meds are written before its time so naturally the insurance is not paying for it in full. So I asked the doctor to please adjust the script. I had to call the office 2 days in a row for him to even consider a call back!! When him & I finally spoke he says "I don't want to see you anymore, I've gotten too many phone calls, I don't talk to patients after hours" wow! I have never recieved such lousy doctor services!! He was really upset and let his true colors shine. I have talked with the ladies upfront and expressed my dislike about dr. Shah they assure me I am not alone he has many patients that complain! My experience with Christta Hamil Sprott, APRN, at Destination Psychiatry was extremely concerning…read more Christta is my cousin, and I initially confided in her as a family member because I trusted her. She subsequently treated me as a psychiatric patient, diagnosed me, and prescribed Wellbutrin even though I did not believe I had a condition requiring medication. I took one pill and declined to continue taking it. After I refused the medication, I believe information about my mental health and treatment was shared with family members and that statements were made about me that portrayed me as mentally unstable. The situation eventually resulted in police involvement, and I was held for approximately five days. I have serious concerns about professional boundaries, confidentiality, the treatment of family members, and the conduct that followed after I declined medication. I have submitted a formal complaint to the Connecticut Department of Public Health and am asking them to investigate Christta Hamil Sprott's professional conduct. I am sharing my experience so that others can make their own informed decisions.

They told me I must have confused them with another place. They then refused to reschedule me and told me to go to the ER to get my medication refilled. What a waste of ER services that would be. I went in today 10/23/25 for my first appointment I got to the office at 8:33am after having issues finding the office which I told to the 3 receptionist (Hallie, Brianne and Laura)who immediately started being upset that I was late. My appointment was for 8:40am they then said they don't think I can be seen dispute it still being before my appointment time due to me not coming in with the paperwork filled out. I was told the paperwork would be mailed to me prior to this 1st appointment, which did not happen and I told them this as well and they act like I was lying. Laura the receptionist said she had to ask the doctor if she will still see me but she didn't think they would. She then started to go to the back office I then asked her for the contact information for corporate because this was just crazy and did not sound like a policy. So I asked for a copy of this policy. I waited until 8:55am when the office manager Latoya came out and I spoke with her telling her most of the issues along with the way I saw them treat different patients. Example- Another patient came in and didn't complete her paperwork and she was told she can see the doctor and bring the paperwork back before she leaves. I was then told to return to the waiting room until she sees if the doctor can still see me. My appointment was scheduled with Dr. Hulinska. I sat in the waiting room until 10:24 am and went to the receptionist desk twice requesting them to call the office manager Latoya to see if I can be seen. At that time Laura the receptionist asked me for my Id and insurance card (which no one did from 8:33am when I arrived) I asked if I would be seen I was told probably. I then asked for the office manager Latoya so I can know if I'll be seen before giving them my insurance card and I'd. The office manager Latoya came out at 10:33am told me they can not see me today, and rescheduled my appointment today 11/7/25 at 1:40pm and handed me a copy of the no show policy which she was trying to use to justify why I can't be seen for me appointment today. I told her this isn't correct because I didn't miss my appointment I am here. Latoya the office manger then became upset and told me I am antagonizing and confrontational due to me asking about the policy I was given. Latoya then became more upset when I said what they are doing is wrong to have me sitting all this time to then say they can't see me and give me a no show policy. Latoya then told me that maybe I should go to another office as she don't think they can't care for me there. I then said I never said that as I have not gotten out the waiting room so I asked if she is saying that she plans to cancel my rescheduled appointment on 11/7/25 at 1:40pm she said no. I then requested a copy of my current appointment that I was told by Latonya that they canceled and she went through the roof and said no she can't give that to me as it's their document as I am not a patient. I was then told by Latoya the office manager that she will have me removed from the waiting area and that she was going to cancel my rescheduled appointment, which she then did. Latonya then proceeded to call 911 at 10:33am and told them that I was a threat because I took her picture. Officers came and I told them what happened Latonya spoke to them in the back and I asked for a case number. Someone needs to look into this so call practice they are horrible, rude, unprofessional, nasty, and don't follow any kind of policy that they can't give to you in black and white. I warn everyone stay away from them they will do more harm. Please look at the reviews I wish I did before I went to the office. They have a rating of 2.5.Patients are going to the office for help and care and that isn't what you will get
