Very unprofessional never answered their phone. Don't care about their customers would not recommend for a primary care doctor.

If I could give the Alliance medical group Rheumatology Middlebury office a rating of less that 1 that's what it would be. I went in today 10/23/25 for my first appointment I got to the office at 8:33am after having issues finding the office which I told to the 3 receptionist (Hallie, Brianne and Laura)who immediately started being upset that I was late. My appointment was for 8:40am they then said they don't think I can be seen dispute it still being before my appointment time due to me not coming in with the paperwork filled out. I was told the paperwork would be mailed to me prior to this 1st appointment, which did not happen and I told them this as well and they act like I was lying. Laura the receptionist said she had to ask the doctor if she will still see me but she didn't think they would. She then started to go to the back office I then asked her for the contact information for corporate because this was just crazy and did not sound like a policy. So I asked for a copy of this policy. I waited until 8:55am when the office manager Latoya came out and I spoke with her telling her most of the issues along with the way I saw them treat different patients. Example- Another patient came in and didn't complete her paperwork and she was told she can see the doctor and bring the paperwork back before she leaves. I was then told to return to the waiting room until she sees if the doctor can still see me. My appointment was scheduled with Dr. Hulinska. I sat in the waiting room until 10:24 am and went to the receptionist desk twice requesting them to call the office manager Latoya to see if I can be seen. At that time Laura the receptionist asked me for my Id and insurance card (which no one did from 8:33am when I arrived) I asked if I would be seen I was told probably. I then asked for the office manager Latoya so I can know if I'll be seen before giving them my insurance card and I'd. The office manager Latoya came out at 10:33am told me they can not see me today, and rescheduled my appointment today 11/7/25 at 1:40pm and handed me a copy of the no show policy which she was trying to use to justify why I can't be seen for me appointment today. I told her this isn't correct because I didn't miss my appointment I am here. Latoya the office manger then became upset and told me I am antagonizing and confrontational due to me asking about the policy I was given. Latoya then became more upset when I said what they are doing is wrong to have me sitting all this time to then say they can't see me and give me a no show policy. Latoya then told me that maybe I should go to another office as she don't think they can't care for me there. I then said I never said that as I have not gotten out the waiting room so I asked if she is saying that she plans to cancel my rescheduled appointment on 11/7/25 at 1:40pm she said no. I then requested a copy of my current appointment that I was told by Latonya that they canceled and she went through the roof and said no she can't give that to me as it's their document as I am not a patient. I was then told by Latoya the office manager that she will have me removed from the waiting area and that she was going to cancel my rescheduled appointment, which she then did. Latonya then proceeded to call 911 at 10:33am and told them that I was a threat because I took her picture. Officers came and I told them what happened Latonya spoke to them in the back and I asked for a case number. Someone needs to look into this so call practice they are horrible, rude, unprofessional, nasty, and don't follow any kind of policy that they can't give to you in black and white. I warn everyone stay away from them they will do more harm. Please look at the reviews I wish I did before I went to the office. This medical group is the worse primary care, the doctor seen was horrible and extremely rude. They don't take transfer to a difference office because its their policy but they know they doctors at some offices should just retire. Appts are hard to come by and the staff is ok but not flexible at all. I would NOT recommend anyone going to the primary care group. read more

The doctors here, and the other drones who work in the office at this location are by far the most incompetent group of professionals I have ever seen or heard of. It can only be described as a "menagerie of Buffoonery". Doesn't matter what you tell them, they will screw it up anyway. Call them, and if you're lucky to actually get someone to pick up the phone, that in itself is a miracle. They tell you they will call back in a few minutes and of course they don't. Staff is not friendly, no customer service skills what-so-ever, and overall, they are pretty much incompetent. In other words they SUCK! Stay away from this organization. Apparently they are the only group in CT that accepts state insurance. Gonna let the CT State Attorney's Office know about their lack of professionalism and level of incompetence. read more

doctors are good but the phone system is SO BAD! Can never get in touch with anyone, always on hold for 20 + minutes whether for appt or triage nurse. They need to staff another nurse or something, I know I'm not the only person who feels this way read more

You can't get through to them on the phones. You automatically get put on hold, then silence and no one ever answers. There is no excuse for this and it's totally disrespectful to the patients. Apparently many of the other reviewers here are having the same experience. read more

If i could leave 0 stars I would, I go here all the time and every time I feel something is wrong with me they never listen to get to the bottom of it. I've had stomach problems since I was a little kid and one of the doctors insisted i had Mono, when I do not. Ran tests on me for mono and lyme disease when this has been an ongoing thing. Now I am sick again and they tested me for strep, came back negative and they told me to go home and just take tylenol. I still do not know what is wrong with me and haven't known for awhile. If you're looking for serious healthcare help, DO NOT come here. Should've went to urgent care if I knew this would be the case. read more

Cardiac care is not what it should be. The Doctors are nice enough but are they actual any good? For me is not about judging the doctors but rather the organization in its whole. The staff that supports a doctor is as important as the Doctor themselves. That is where the whole organization falls apart. I have been lied to straight to my face face by an APRN not once but three times. Then a nasty nurse that claimed to be the office manager told me, to watch how I speak to her staff. I had never raise my voice or used any off color language. She was clueless as to what I was told. It has been 7 day's now and I have not heard from my doctor about the failed Cardiac Catherization. I have 3 blocked arteries with six separate clogs. The doctor doing the test said I would be scheduled for surgery within the week. Even gave me the surgeons name. It is NOT happening because My "Doctor" and APRN did not do her jobs. The surgeon (witch I called directly) has never heard of me, 7 days later. Needless to say I have found new doctors and will never go back there. read more

Dr DeLuca and his staff are awesome! We recently relocated to Woodbury, CT from California and had to find a new primary physician so out of the blue I called Dr DeLuca from google search. What a perfect choice for both my husband and I. Dr D's staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. Dr D really had our best interests at heart as well as being friendly and down to earth. We are very thankful Dr. DeLuca accepted us as new patients into his practice. read more

Great place! Both my daughter and I go there. Staff is great and we always get an appointment when needed. Waiting time is very reasonable. I never had a very long wait and I appreciate that. Other offices can be very difficult.... Doctors are amazing! Both my doctor and my daughter's! They are knowledgeable, understanding, and they really take the time to listen. read more

Until recently I would have told you this was a great place but since my daughters have grown into teens their treatment has changed. The last several visits have been unbearable. Had new patient appointment set for Dr Molla rheumatology. They called and said they needed to reschedule. So set new appointment. I arrive at the time I was told and they tell me it was 30 minutes prior. And. Ew patient is an hour. The dr only works until 4pm so he can't see you. I let them kindly know I drove 30 minutes and I wasn't the one that rescheduled. "Sorry, he leaves at 4". If that's the first experience, I can only guess the rest is a hack too.. read more

If you're looking for a place with patience and welcoming staff, I advice you not to go here. Bad vibes since I enter the office. It was my first time and staff was extremely rude (except for one). I don't know about other doctors, but Joycelyn Maw, MD at the Middlebury, CT location was unprofessional and had a bedside manner attitude. Did not made me feel comfortable at all. I had to walk away. Tried to change the doctor and they had told me that she will always be my on call doctor. My impression was that they don't care about patient comfort. A few people advice me not to go there including an ex employee. This is what I get for not listening. I just wonder if they treat the elderly this way? I hope not, since they need compassion and understanding. read more

Some of the best pediatric dr's ever! We moved and miss them so very much Everyone has such a caring spirit in this place. I will say however, that Dr Choudry is a holistic type of Dr. she thinks everything takes time and will not give your child a rx when it is needed. My child had developed asthma and it wasn't till and emergency appt that Dr.Mathews got her a breathing treatment and inhalers prescribed. I was not a happy mama. We missed Dr.Maddox when he left the practice. I even went to this practice as a child. I highly recommend. read more

My mother's doctor sold out to the Alliance last year. It has been a miserable experience ever since. No one listens it's impossible to get to the doctor. The customer service is the lowest of low. It feels like the people that actually care are few and far between. This doctor has been life changing for her. So changing physicians is difficult at this point. After this experience as I need a specialist I make sure they are not associated with Alliance Medical group. I also ask if there is any intent of moving to them. They simply come across as sales people selling pharmaceuticals who really don't care about the patient. I get better customer service at the gas station. read more

I was referred by my PCP for a rheumatology consultation in August. When I scheduled the appt, front office staff told me the fee for the appt would be $140. As I checked in for my appt, the fee was $160 and they said they did not know what the discrepancy was, so I asked for clarification, was $160 the entire fee for my consult? Yes, they said, and that I would be billed for any additional charges, such as if I had blood work or labs, etc. I only had a verbal consultation appt to determine what my symptoms might indicate and chose not to have bloodwork or anything else. I got a bill in the mail for $375 and had to call 5x to get clarification about it before paying it. No one called me back after I left voice messages and after talking to billing staff who assured me they would review it and get back to me. I called today and ended up paying it over the phone, but my issue is that the staff member I spoke to was rude, tried to argue with me and justify the lack of follow up on their part. I will not ever go back there. The front office staff should not be quoting patients fees if they do not know what the codes are that will be billed and do not know what they are speaking about. Also unprofessional was while waiting in the waiting room for my appt, I had to hear one staff member loudly gossiping and denigrating another staff member. Dealing with this place has left me disappointed and angry. read more

I have been seeing Dr.Silva for several months now. And I have severe back pain. I have been given steroids,back injections,physical therapy and nothing has worked for over 7 years now. I've refused any narcotic due to the rate of addiction and I've asked to be referred to an orthopedic surgeon. And once again my request has been denied. I have no idea why. I have been in his office in tears asking for help and what do I get? Another prescription for the same steroids that didn't work the first 3 times. DO NOT go to this group of people they will not help you. My father who was going to the same group was referred to another part of there group for a colonoscopy,which was his first. We got no info on what to do. Had no idea we had to buy the nessasary items at the local pharmacy and when we did find out it was too late to prepare correctly. And then the next morning we got sent to the wrong doctors office to perform the colonoscopy. And the nurses said that seems to be a habit with this office. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here. They don't care if you live or not as long as they get paid. read more

If you need to call an on-call doctor, this ain't the place to go. I am 73 and had been treated by Alliance staff this week for an upper respiratory infection of some sort. Antibiotics, prednisone etc. After the doctor's office closed, I call the answering service as I was having difficulty breathing and was wheezing quite a bit. That was at 5:36 p.m. After two subsequent calls, I had heard nothing back by 9:30 p.m. and called to say forget, I'd tough it out somehow or end up in an ambulance. Unbeknownst to me, my Doctor left the practice and I got no notification of the departure. I had an appointment that the group had rescheduled because "a situation" had come up. I called to confirm my appointment and that is when I was notified that my doctors was no longer there and they had cancelled my appointment. They couldn't even reschedule my appointment in a timely manor (3 months out). I am a cancer patient and have to have regular checks. Please RUN from this place. If I didn't need my meds I would be gone. read more
