As a bride in search of the best place to hold a wedding ceremony/reception, there are a whole host of things that can factor into the decision. Let me start off this review by saying there were 2 big things that truly won me over with this venue that I want to focus on: 1) On our very first visit to The Heights Villa (THV), Brendan (one of the owners) said "We do things differently at The Heights Villa. You might love it. You might hate it, but what you see is what you get." After hearing that, I was well on my way to being sold on this place. A genuine, no-nonsense approach from very real, down-to-earth people is exactly what we got in our experience working with Cathy, Brendan, and Kelli at THV. From day one, everything was clearly laid out in black & white. They said no hidden fees - and they meant it. If something was going to cost extra, we knew about it ahead of time and had full authority and understanding over what would ultimately happen - end of story. They helped us save money where we could in our budget while still giving us premium service & attention to detail. The kind of conversations I had with each THV representative left me feeling seen, heard, and acknowledged as a bride (regardless of how stressed out I probably seemed to them). When they heard about my house fire in the final 2 months leading up to our wedding, they called me out of the blue to offer to help us out with things that were outside of their scope of work as a venue (printing our seating chart, offering additional set-up equipment, etc.). 2) THV is well-connected with a whole slew of top-notch vendors. When they say someone does a great job for them, they mean it. Good people attract more good people, and I am so thankful for them sharing their list of preferred vendors with us. Having this network of vetted wedding professionals at our fingertips took a HUGE weight off of my shoulders as the primary planner. Not only were we saving time and money, but we were also saving the added stress of communication errors that often arise when a new team of people comes together to execute a project. Y'all - I had ZERO hiccups from ANY of them (at least none that actually got back to the bride's ears). No mistakes. No issues. No nothing. Just great service, people doing what they said they would, and enjoying my last day as a single gal. (1 Star) I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share our experience in hopes that it helps future clients. My husband and I chose Heights Villa for our 40th Wedding Vow Renewal on July 12, 2026. We began planning in February and met with the venue several times. During every meeting, we discussed our vision, requested pricing for décor, and watched detailed notes being taken. Unfortunately, it became clear that little of what we discussed was actually documented or executed. One of our biggest frustrations was the lack of transparency. We repeatedly asked for pricing throughout the planning process, yet on the day of our event we were shown an "upgraded" room and told that certain décor would require additional charges. Those conversations should have happened months before the event--not hours before our guests arrived. The décor did not reflect the vision we spent months planning. We requested red flowers, but received fuchsia accents that were never corrected despite assurances they would be. Our sweetheart table looked incomplete, one of the two decorative trees we requested was missing, and we received only a few easels for family photos after repeatedly asking for them. The day-of execution was equally disappointing. We were told there would be a large team available to prepare the venue and complete a 30-minute room flip. Instead, we only saw two men cleaning for several hours. I even watched décor being assembled just hours before the ceremony began. The venue itself was not ready for guests. There was a strong urine odor throughout the building, including the restrooms, which also lacked paper towels for much of the event. The bridal and groom suites were not cleaned properly, the bar area was cluttered with what appeared to be leftovers from a previous event, and spills throughout the venue often went unattended. Perhaps the most disappointing issue was the ceremony space. We were never told the air conditioning was not working properly. Our guests were visibly uncomfortable and had to fan themselves throughout the ceremony. We also had to request additional chairs despite the venue knowing for months that we expected approximately 200 guests. We even reported a large puddle caused by the air conditioning unit, but it was never addressed. Communication also declined significantly after our final payment was made. Calls and text messages often went unanswered, and there was very little urgency when we needed assistance on the day of the event. We were also informed at the last minute that our guests could not park in the parking lot until 30 minutes before the event, creating unnecessary confusion. While we are incredibly grateful to have celebrated 40 years of marriage surrounded by family and friends, we are deeply disappointed by the planning, communication, professionalism, and execution provided by Heights Villa. This was a once-in-a-lifetime celebration that deserved much better. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes meaningful improvements so future couples and families do not experience the same disappointments we did. read more

I got married on 11/26/25 and would strongly encourage future brides DO NOT BOOK. While the pricing seems budget-friendly for what's included, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Important things to know: * The lowest caterer on their approved list is $33 per person with all the fees (no appetizers included), and in my opinion Lasagna House is overpriced for the quality * They say parking across the street must be purchased -- YOU DO NOT * You may only arrive 5 hours prior, and everyone must arrive within the first hour, calling each time within that hour, or the gate will not be opened (my family arriving early to decorate had to park across the street) * A stand-up wooden cross requires expensive event insurance or renting theirs for $250 (ceremony side only) * Real rose petals must be picked up IMMEDIATELY after the ceremony * Apparently AC is only turned on when requested and takes time to cool * Outside catering fee is $1,250 with many restrictions making it difficult for affordable catering * Mixed drinks are limited to 3 ingredients unless pre-batched * Only the bride or groom may access suites after the ceremony, and staff must open the door every time * You do not choose when the included 1-hour Photo Booth runs * The $250 cloud dance is not worth it -- very minimal fog that stays near the stage * Full payment is due 30 days prior, plus a $500 security deposit check THE MAIN REASONS for my dissatisfaction: * The Photo Booth I paid for was NEVER PROVIDED * We were never given a scheduled time for it, either at the final meeting or on the wedding day * They did not have the ceremony space prepped according to my ceremony plans the night before the wedding at the rehearsal * They had that night, morning and afternoon to prepare the venue spaces ahead of time, were supposed to have it ready 3hrs prior to my ceremony time to allow us to decorate but were not finished in time and ultimately causing my ceremony time to be delayed * I have called multiple times and emailed Kelli and the new owner Brody with no response * It has been almost 3 weeks since my wedding with no callback or communication * The venue confirmed Today they received my emails and were aware of the situation but that they will yet again ask the new owner Brody to call me back I waited to post this review to allow time for private resolution, but since there has been no communication or accountability, I feel obligated to warn future brides: DO NOT USE THIS VENUE. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be pursuing legal action to recover payment for services not rendered and any legal fees or costs incurred should this matter require legal action. read more

Overall our wedding was a success although there were a few hiccups Cathy was quick to remedy the situation. I HIGHLY recommend Kelli as the DOC, she made wedding planning effortless. The best advice I can give anyone who is considering having an event at this facility to please look elsewhere. They are a very disorganized and very shady in how they conduct there services. They make it very difficult for outside vendors to be able to provide service affordable with all the stipulations they put on the vendors. Also be aware of the charge that Kelley scams from her clients for the charge of the parking lot across the street. The thrift store rents that parking lot and says that Kelley should not be charging clients price for the use of that property. There are many other venues that are far less difficult to work with and most importantly who have integrity.. I was a guest at my cousin's wedding at Heights Villa. The entire venue looks a bit old and outdated from the outside and you can only have the wedding inside. The ceremony and reception area is separated by an outdoor hall. Insides of both areas looked pretty nice especially with the white canopy. There were also several smaller rooms attached to the main spaces that looked like they could be used for overflow. The bar and buffet service was done quite well as our plates were collected timely and the bar tenders seemed to be fulfilling their duties. The food was typical wedding food a bit on the bland side and in small portions but the shrimp was pretty good. One thing you need to be cautious of is that the guests had their cars broken into while we were at the reception. PLEASE tell your guests not to leave valuables in plain sight. This is common sense but I would remind them before the ceremony starts or on your website. Also make sure gifts are secured properly. Seems like hiring security would be a good idea as the area is not the best. read more

I had my wedding here. DO NOT get Leslie for your planner she's awful. She just doesn't have the right personality and is pretty cold. She had no patience for us to make decisions and I felt rushed in all of our meetings. I did have a life beyond the wedding and I once asked a question twice and she was like we already went over that last time... PLEASE if I'm paying you thousands of dollars humor me and answer the question again. On my rehearsal I was told I couldn't show my mom who had never been to the venue where the bathroom was or where the guests would be. I ended up having a bridezilla moment and they backed down but again I don't think it's a big deal to show the mother of the bride where cocktails will be served, where people will come in and WHERE the bathroom is when she hasn't been to the venue before... just extremely rude Also, we did the bar buyout and my guests told me the bartenders were awful and lazy. They also decided to open EVERY bottle of wine instead of opening wine as needed which was a huge of waste of money. One friend was ordering a lot of drinks to bring back to her table and they cut her off even though she wasn't drunk but just due to how many drinks she had ordered. I would really ask about the bartenders if you book here.. Also, the heights villa staff made me stand outside for fifteen minute in the heat when I was dropping off a check for thousands of dollars when I had an appointment. They keep the place on lock down which is fine but they should be prompt to come get you or leave the gate open when they have an appointment it's unprofessional. It's a nightmare getting into this place even when you have an appointment. Plan on waiting at least ten minutes for someone to unlock the gate. They should also really invest in a drop box. Another fishy thing is we wanted to have our wedding on a Sunday but we were told the date was booked. When we did have our wedding it somehow slipped there was no event the next day.... up charge, anyone? You should also know there's a $600 minimum on flowers. I wasn't told about that until my floral meeting which lasted 8 minutes part of which the woman was on the phone... she ended up doing a good job but again it could have gone smoother and more professional especially for the amount of money being paid. Overall, my wedding day went great but the process getting there could have went a lot smoother and the Sunday thing is shady and felt like a money grab. DJ was excellent he's probably the best person working there. I would say 3 stars for staff and planning but 5 on actual wedding day- they pulled it together and everything was great. If you do book here it wasn't a train wreck but they seemed to forget who was the customer. read more

I almost never write yelp reviews but after our experience last night I absolutely had to write something. The Venue itself is decently pretty and gets the job done however the customer service was so incredibly bad I have to warn everyone to steer clear of this place. We held a fundraiser for our ministry in Uganda, Africa and on a night when it was supposed to be all about praising God and raising money for such a nobel cause, it was constantly being tainted by the bad attitudes and lying nature of the men and women in charge of the venue. The main gentleman I dealt with (larger man with glasses) was rude from the second we showed up to begin the setup. Not to mention they expect you to set up AN ENTIRE event with A/V, band, silent auction, and registration for 200+ people in two hours which is just insane. They said we would have to pay on top of the thousands of dollars we were already giving them to get in a half hour early just to give us a little more leeway. The man in charge continued to pout and pace anytime one of our volunteers asked for him to assist with something. I swear I did not see the man smile once. Then he proceeded to lock the front gate as we were setting up so that our volunteers and our celebrity guests were locked outside. Upon being asked to open the gate he continued to huff and puff and angrily stated, "This gate is remaining locked until the time of the event!" He let the people in and then locked the door behind them. When confronted about this he lied and said he opened the gate earlier. No sir, you did not, I was standing right behind you when you when you locked one of our volunteers out. The water dispenser breaks and a bartender tells us we could go buy a new one if we want water. Seriously?? ANOTHER GROUP SHOWS UP TO BE SHOWN THE EVENT SPACE AND THE MAN TAKES THEM THROUGH TO SHOW THEM AS OUR EVENT IS ABOUT TO START!!!! One of the most unprofessional things I have ever seen!! I don't even have enough room to include all of the horrible attitudes and actions that we experienced at this venue but on top of it all, when confronted about it at the end of the night, the man in charge straight up lies about everything and gets insanely defensive. Excuse me sir, but when someone has a criticism for your business and tells you that they were very disappointed after spending THOUSANDS of dollars for your space, the least you can do is say I AM SORRY. This man had the audacity to continue to defend himself and not apologize until I had to stand in front of him and say, "All we want is an apology!" DO NOT BOOK YOUR EVENT HERE UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY LOVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Small venues survive because of their great customer service and attention to detail. This place has neither and will go under in a matter of months unless they change their ways. Save your money and find a new place. Even paying a little more is incredibly worth it. We just had our wedding at this venue in the ballroom and we had no issues whatsoever. The venue was lovely, communication with the venue staff (especially Jamie) was easy and quick, and we appreciated that everything could be done on-site (i.e. floral, decorations, etc.). The preferred vendors were also great and we found their prices very reasonable. We used City View for food and Kelly for the wedding cake. We also brought our own liquor which saved a lot of money. We used Kelli (provided by the Heights Villa for a nominal extra fee) as our day of coordinator and she was amazing. I would HIGHLY recommend using her. Although some reviewers complained that there were "hidden fees" or other rules that they didn't know about- I can honestly say I knew about all of them before signing any paperwork. The venue does have some rules that may seem to be a little strict but please just listen, these are told up front. I was surprised by nothing. Additionally, I never encountered any rude employees- everyone was great for us. I would highly recommend the Heights Villa for a wedding- especially for those looking to have a "one-stop shop" with reasonable prices. It's a beautiful venue with many options to fit all budgets! I've hardly yet to see a wedding crowd at this venue that doesn't look cheap or act with any regard to being classy. Near every event leaves the streets crowded, bottles strewn about, noise till 12am and later. The whole of various activities blight the neighborhood. Car horns, deliveries banging about, no regard for stop signs or reasonable parking. The valet they hire is careless and clueless, and I'd never lend my car to them. Go somewhere that is NOT a neighborhood. Go somewhere with scenery, with trees, grass, actual locations to take your wedding images. This is a renovated church just looking to suck money with little given back. There are a LOT of wedding venues in Houston. You have plenty to choose from. They all want you money. My daughter just had her wedding here last week. Not sure what they found attractive about this venue since its very old/hot/humid, but everyone has their own opinion :) 1.) Leslie is Awful (and so is the rest of management) 2.) Brendan is Awful as well. 3.) Read below to see why you shouldn't get screwed over the way we did. The wedding planning experience is always stressful but my daughter was extra stressed. Management lies and deceived her and her fiance at the time and makes things very difficult and expensive in the long-run of planning the wedding. One of the comments below hit the nail on the head when they mentioned that management are money-hungry and cheap. The A/C unit are so old that we were sweating during the wedding. I am wondering if you're overcharging people for a lot of things, why not use that money to FIX YOUR STUFF?? Creaky floors and terrible air condition. Anyways, thank God we won't be doing another wedding here. You know 100% that I will be looking at more elegant and newer venues with good management/owners for my son's wedding in the future. It's just sad my daughter had to experience this so that I can learn from it for my next child's wedding. Anyyyyyyways, the parking situation that has been mentioned by so many people is a disaster. if you like for your guests to park and be happy then this isn't the place. Let me start our by saying I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this venue! I had my wedding here December 6, 2014. My then-fiancé and I had been to just about every place in The Houston Metro Area and found two types of locations: 1) ones that were not what we were looking for and 2) ones that we loved but we're just ridiculously out of the average bride and grooms budget. But when I walked in The Heights Villa...my heart swelled and stopped. I had found it, my perfect, dream venue! Everything I had dreamed of when envisioning my wedding was right at my feet. I initially thought, "I can't afford this, I don't even want to tour the rest of the place". But low and behold, it was in my price range! I couldn't believe it! I give all credit to God for leading me there and blessing me with Leslie as my coordinator. Everything leading up to the wedding was a breeze. Leslie let us come in as needed to walk the place, take measurements, if we had any new ideas or questions, and picking out all the decorations (which are included in the rental price). Or even if we just wanted to be there just to dream of what our day would look and feel like. So our day finally came. Other than being late to our set up, Leslie and Kathy were amazing. We had an issue with the outside caterer we chose, and they did everything they could to make it right. I could write a book on everything they did to make sure my wedding reception was a success. We had our wedding at the Heights Villa last weekend and it couldn't have been better! We checked out several venues and the minute we walked into the Heights Villas we knew it was perfect. Our wedding was in the Grand Ballroom which holds up to 300 (I think)? We had 200 guests and the space was perfect for that number. Teresa is one of the coordinators for the Villa who worked her butt off to make sure all of our needs were met. The thing about the Heights Villa that sets them apart from other venues is the amount of included items. We saved a ton of money by using their table center pieces, tables, table cloths, chairs, and candle holders. After it's all said and done you shouldn't have to rent any extras. The Grand Ballroom set up is perfect for the ceremony and reception. I was so surprised how the staff was able to flip the room for us in less than 30 minutes. During this time guests were able to go to the bar area and outside newly built courtyard. All my guests couldn't believe how beautiful and spacious the venue was. This venue is where I chose to get married for MY special day and I have nothing but great things to say about Kathy, Brendan, and the rest of their staff. My sister book this venue for her wedding this past weekend. From my vantage point the venue was wonderful. Jamie and Cathy were great to work with. I helped to coordinate the wedding and had no problems working with them. In fact, they were patient and so kind. They "many" times asked if they could help with anything. My husband and I were early to arrive for set up and everyone else was late. Since they saw that we had no help they continued to offer assistance. As with most weddings things didn't go as scheduled which put them in a bind for the reception conversion, I was so impressed that they remained patient and kind. Only concerned for our guests that had been waiting an hour in the breeze ways, which are not well air conditioned. We got many compliments on how beautiful the venue was, and I agree. They have done a great job with all the renovations. A couple negatives-The grooms room gets a pool table and TV and the brides room gets nothing, a TV or radio/Ipod dock would be nice. Girls love to dance and listen to music so something to entertain us would have been nice. (although I brought my own ipod dock because I knew they didn't have anything for us) The other issue was with valet parking. The venue required complimentary valet parking because of limited parking due to multiple events. But the valets asked for tips. Since we didn't know of the valet before hand our guests were not prepared to tip valets. I hated that they were put in a position where they had to valet and feel obligated to scramble for cash to tip the valet. I think the venue should cover the tips as well since this was thier requirement. I will still put this place on my recommend list and maybe have my next big anniversary party here. P.S. My sister did have an issue with them not providing enough table linens. They were no very informed about some of the contract guideline about outside vendors. Some of their vendors where friends that were not insured. They ended up having to purchase a liability policy for them. My advice...read your contract, ask questions, and get all agreements in writing. So I give them 4 stars because of a couple of hicupps. read more

We just got married on 1/23/16 and we planned this wedding in 2 months. 2 months. And 120 guests. I seriously could not have been more stressed out and anxious, but every time I met with Cathy and her staff I was immediately put at ease. They went above and beyond for my groom, my family, our bridal party, and guests. I am so grateful to them. They made our day exactly how I hoped it would be - beautiful and fun! This place is amazing and helped create such an amazing day for me and my now husband!! It's gorgeous. Our reception was in The Ballroom. (the smaller of the two rooms) The staff is very responsive and very informative. They are always available to help and offer all kinds of suggestions. They really work hard to make your dream event come true. They're easy and fun to work with and are fantastic at giving ideas to make your day unique and feel like your own special day! The Heights Villa is simply beautiful . . and made for some really great pictures. We purchased the all-inclusive package which came with our choice of DJ. We just had to meet him/her and make a decision. We chose DJ Roy McQuade who did a phenomenal job picking fun songs that made the crowd get up and dance. The Bridal Suite and Groom Suite are beautiful! During an open house of the Heights Villa we toured the facility and absolutely fell in love with the Bridal and Groom Suite. That is the moment we decided to have our wedding there. If only the price was in line with our own budget. After considering all extras you get with the all-inclusive package it did. I was a little worried that the four hour rental would make me and my guests feel rushed. Luckily this was not the case. I had such a great time and enjoyed every minute of it. Our wedding day was September 17, 2016 in the Grand Ballroom. It was absolutely spectacular. From the beginning, Brendan, Cathy, Lesley and Jamie were quick to respond, attentive, dedicated and just overall helpful. They remained so even through our actual wedding. They helped ensure the room was flipped quickly, since that was a concern of mine, and Brendan was kind enough to capture a moment between my father and I just before I walked down the aisle. We were married at The Heights Villa last month and had both, ceremony and reception there. We had the best experience and the most beautiful evening wedding there! From the beginning, the communication with everyone at the venue was great! Jamie and Leslie are extremely thorough and detail oriented. Cathy, Brendan and Collin treated us like family from the beginning. Shelly (who did all the flower arrangements, bouquets, etc) was extremely sweet, helpful, and talented. They all saw our vision from the beginning; as we wanted a candle lit, romantic evening wedding and they asked us to trust them to set up for us the day of and...we did! BEST DECISION EVER! The place was just beautifully arranged and they even gifted us huge, beautiful flower arrangements for the stage that evening. The day of the wedding, Cathy, Shelly and Leslie were there helping us keep with the schedule and making sure everything was looking flawless. Collin commuted from Austin that day just to work our wedding and make sure all the last little details were aligned. I have to add - we did not hire a wedding coordinator or a day coordinator for our wedding and it wasn't Heights Villa's team responsibility to do all that they did. They just went out of their way to make sure we had an unforgettable wedding and for that, we are forever grateful. Other places we looked at, will not do more than is specified by the contract and any little bitty extra help would come with an extra charge. The Heights Villa was the whole opposite! This venue is beautiful and Heights Villa's team is the best you we could've ever found for our wedding. If you are looking for a place to have your wedding, I sincerely recommend you to go to one of their open houses and check this place out. You won't be disappointed! read more

This venue is BEAUTIFUL and their recent upgrades are spectacular. If you don't mind poor "customer service" then this place is for you!! I really wished that i had done more research on this place. After i started having problems i decided to do a google search (not just yelp) and discovered other NEGATIVE reviews. people had similar problems to mine. (websites such as WeddingChannel.com have similar reviews/complaints) I'll be brief as there were many issues that transpired AFTER i gave them my deposit. The one major thing that really bothered me was the fact that they offer a military discount...but once you receive it they will not let you forget about it! i was constantly reminded of the discount i received when i had questions about their linen rental policy. it was continuously stated and almost sounded as if the owner wanted to say "well since we gave you a discount that means you have extra money to spend". Be sure that you are clear on their linen rental agreement!!! yes they are FREE...BUT it goes by the number you FIRST GAVE THEM WHEN YOU SIGNED THE CONTRACT. meaning if your guest count grows, you will be paying for the extra table linens. But its not a big deal if you got the military discount because you can just use that to pay for the overage! So my advice is to over estimate your guest count. The other issues with the owners were told to me by my wedding coordinator who dealt with all the drama so i could have a smooth wedding with no worries. on the day of the wedding, yes the owners are there...and that's fine. but if anything goes wrong with THEIR equipment they will NOT be around to assist. BUT they can be found when they are trying to rush you out of their facility!!! my coordinator and a friend were left to try to fix the problem during my reception because the owner was "unavailable". they are a husband and wife duo...the man has great suggestions and is great to work with SOMETIMES. now the woman on the other hand is never pleasant. My coordinator, my bartender service, and I are highly convinced that you will be sabotaged if you try to bring in your own vendor. the owner had no problem telling me i couldn't use the vendor who i had already paid for and quickly gave me the name and number of someone i could use (sound suspicious to me). you are allowed to use whatever table, centerpieces, or anything else they have which is wonderful! unfortunately, my coordinator requested a table while setting up and they were very annoyed by that...dragged their feet just to get a table! These among others are why this venue gets ONE STAR. BEWARE. i wish i could've wrote this sooner because i know several people who booked this place soon after my wedding and are now experiencing the hell that the owners have to offer. a lot of things are not in black ink so ask ALL questions before depositing!!!!! read more

Heights Villa is a gorgeous venue with 2 different sections so you could have your ceremony in one area and your reception in the other area. The two Banquet rooms are very spacious so you can do absolutely anything you envision with the space. It is very newly renovated with the bride's needs in mind. It is owned by a husband and wife team who are the sweetest people you will ever meet. They are very professional and very informative. And they are constantly adding additional items to their inventory to make it more cost effective for their brides (ie lighting, various centerpieces, etc.) like I previously stated, they really do care about their clients! They definitely go above and beyond their call of duty to make your wedding day perfect because they genuinely care. read more

This place definitely exceeded my expectations. I've attended various formal events at different venues (like hotels and etc.), but this venue places up in my top three. The location is a little hidden with bushes and trees, so just be more alert when looking for this place. There is reasonable parking space in the front. There are several rooms as well as a hallway leading to the ballrooms. The event I attended was the smaller room downstairs, which actually held more than I expected. The decorations were very elegant and beautiful. The ceilings were draped with a cream colored chiffon material as well as the stage. There were even little pretty lit-up trees to help accentuate the center of it. There are also separate little rooms that branch from the ballroom where it can be used for multiple purposes, depending on your occasion. The bar was conveniently located right outside the ballroom, which is always a must. Overall, this quaint little place had a lot to offer for a variety of occasions. The decorations worked well together to create a homey, yet sophisticated atmosphere. The cost was also very fairly reasonable and affordable as well. I would definitely recommend this venue for future events and look forward to coming back! read more

I attended an open house today with intentions of making a final decision with this being my last venue to look at. When I toured the venue I absolutely fell in love with Heights Villa and I wanted to book today! I stopped a lady lady with short hair to inquire about the packages. She assisted me with total price. I asked what upgrades do they have a available as I would like to include that in my total price if I was interested in them. The lady stated to me "we have a lot" I than asked which ones she said "umm like the table chargers and centerpieces" after she just stated to me centerpieces were included in the package and is stated on the form. I asked her if my date was available she said yes for both ballrooms. I said okay are you flexible on your price as I am interested in booking. She said "no as you can see we have over 400 brides here viewing our place we do not negotiate prices" mind you that there was about 100-150 people attending the open house. She than dismissed herself stating to visit their vendors. I found her very rude and not very helpful in assisting me with the package information. I was all in for booking my date here but her character wasn't something i wanted to work with for the next 11 months. They lost my business. read more

If I could leave negative stars I would! This is the worst place to hold any type of event. Parking is horrible, the owners/directors are rude and the facility it self was small. The restrooms were gross! There was no soap or paper towels in the men's room and the so called family room had a stopped up toilet and smelled of urine! They need to get it together there!!! read more

This place is amazing and helped create such an amazing day!!! It's gorgeous which you can see for yourself, but it's really so much more. Our ceremony and reception was in The Grand Ballroom and they "flipped" the room so quickly...to look like an entirely different room for the reception! There are many things that made the venue so special and perfect, I don't think I can capture all of them but here are a few: *The owners and staff there are phenomenal. They're easy and fun to work with and are fantastic at giving ideas to make your day unique and feel like your own special, unique day! *The place is gorgeous...and photogenic. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful it is, but it's also captured wonderfully in the photos. *They have a DJ set up/stage, not many places have. We used and iPod for the ceremony music and a live band for the ceremony. The setup allows for someone to clearly see the ceremony, while still being out of site, is perfect. The music timing for the ceremony went off without a hitch. Then, at the reception, the band had an amazing amount of space on stage to be energetic and keep everyone engaged and excited. *Bride/Groom Suites - All I can say is WOW. The bride's suite had an amazing amount of space, so I was able to have everyone special to me, in the room, and we never felt crowded. The groom's suite even has a pool table... what more can I say? These are really just the top of the list. This place offers more details that you will appreciate and realize all the way down to the very week of the wedding, which is part of the magical feeling that goes in to creating such a special moment. read more

If I was not able to have a thought I had been thinking of fulfilled it was not due to the Villa or their staff, but due to regulations put into place by the state. The owners went above and beyond to make my reception planning as easy as possible. There will always be a few hiccups during the reception ,which I did have but all in all it was a wonderful night. Do not have your wedding at this place! The management is irresponsible and incompetent and your guests are likely to have their cars broken into. Management was supposed to provide security guards for the parking lot but they failed to do so. The venue is apparently a prime target for local thieves. When I was there multiple cars were broken into at once and it was obviously a targeted and planned thing. When management was told they did not think it was their fault at all despite not fulfilling their end of the deal. And some of the guests did not even have valuables showing, but the thieves broke their windows anyways. On such an important day, it is not worth taking the risk of affecting it negatively by dealing with this management and venue. read more

October 14th 2018, I was a bridesmaid at a wedding The Heights Villa hosted. The venue was disorganized, not sure if they were lacking staff but they were poorly prepared. We wanted to make the most with our time (before schedule) to have a pre ceremony rehersal with the groom, narrator and Reverend. That is when guests start cascading in from multiple entrances. With guests flooding in at all doorways, we literally had to push through doing our best to not be recognized. This was stressful for all of us, especially since the ceremony was special and told a story, we wanted nothing to be revealed until the time came to begin. Now with all the guests plugging up hallways and starring at us, we were exposed. The valet was terrible and guests complained how disorderly the parking was from dropping off the vehicles through to receiving them back. The staff disappeared for sometimes half hour intervals. One inparticularly poor times the staff wasn't anywhere to be found, was the locking out of the bridal party. The bride and groom were locked out waiting for 30minutes one time, which in turn ruined more of the event's schedule(reception was being conducted while waiting to change and get in suites). Because the groom and bride were stuck upstairs awaiting entry through the door, games, favors and memorable times were reduced(yes, thirty minutes waisted).The other wedding next door had a similar experience of the staff not being there, the mystery of the staffs whereabouts still remain at this time unknown. read more
