This bar is like a speakeasy. We entered a pizza togo restaurant, they sell by the slice. If you go to the left, it's a tiki lounge area. Through another door is the bar. Dark and intimate setting. We ordered some drinks at the bar right as they shouted last call. The bartenders made sure to take our drink orders before cleaning up. I also managed to get a couple slices of pizza before they closed as well. Would definitely recommend.

Great atmosphere! Fun times w/ some flashy drinks. Cool bartenders and patrons. Good vibes. In town for work and we found this gem downtown. It's an upbeat, modern bar w/ entertaining fire drinks! We've returned a few times during the week and whenever we're in town. It's a must see if you're visiting Sioux Falls. An amazing tiki bar in downtown Sioux Falls! I've been to many tiki bars across the US (Tonga Room in SF, Beachbum Berry's Latitude 29 in New Orleans, Frankie's in Vegas, Three Dots & a Dash Chicago, Trader Sam's at the Polynesian... you get my point!). So surprised that this was a legit experience! + mai tai + flaming peacocks!? + souvenir merch + awesome, friendly service + indoor and outdoor seating + ambiance + Walk up pizza window

Super cool tiki style lounge- great music and drinks and fun atmosphere- would return when in Sioux falls-

Fun bar! The vibes, to the menu, to the drinks it's like you've been transported out of Sioux Falls to Orange County California. Fun vibes the only thing I would change is to have some bar snack food but there are plenty of places near by to grab a bite! If you are going out for drinks they have great options! #1 bar in Sioux Falls, SD

Great Cocktails and knowledgeable staff serving fun and fanciful drinks. They were very welcoming and very attentive and helpful with good food and drink establishment suggestions for the rest of our time in Sioux Falls.

    Cool art.

Definitely a cool atmosphere, outside and in. Out on the street, if you're there during the Art Walk, you can sit right next to some amazing art. I sat next to a St. Francis state while I enjoyed my Mojito, which was excellent. Inside, you've got a quirky, hipster tiki-bar feel. The service was good too. Worth checking out if you wanna chill somewhere, even in the afternoon.

A strange mixture of decor and drink options makes this trippy joint the next up and comer for downtown Sioux Falls' trendy crowd! Come and drink well and get yourself a slice and mellow out in a chill atmosphere!

Couple of fun drinks we had to try. Both were great and light!

Great atmosphere, diligent bartenders, fun tropical drinks and plenty of beer to choose from. I did not try their pizza but holy snikeys it looked amazing and HUGE! You can buy by the slice or a whole pie. Had to grab a shirt too, cute design!

Fun bar in downtown Sioux Falls! Younger crowd in their 20-30s. Good amount of sitting areas and many different Hawaiian themed cocktails. Also carry regular liquors, domestic beer, and seltzers. They do serve food during the day as well. A cool vibe that wasn't expected! Definitely recommend if you're looking to hit the bar scene in the downtown area!

Pizza from the back with a drink called: HUMUHUMUNUKUNUKUAPUA'A both delicious

I think the best way to describe The Hello Hi would be a melting pot for all walks of life. Whether you're interested in having a classic cocktail while chasing romance or if you simply want to live your best life drinking out of a peacock and talking to your local snowmobile enthusiast. You can find whatever you want in this island vibe South Dakota oasis. The staff was a mixed bag, but I was lucky enough to sit in front of a very personable and caring shiny head bartender who provided a fantastic experience. Thanks for the good times! Keep doing what you're doing!

We have been to a lot of tiki bars, and when we heard there was a new one in my husband's hometown of Sioux Falls, we had to check it out on our trip. To say it blew away our expectations would be an understatement. This place is one of the most stunning and unique bars we have ever been to. The decor is the most perfect blend of modern, mid century pop and classic tiki and I can't do it all justice with my lack of photography skills. The drink menu is simple, with a few house specialties and we enjoyed them all. Sorry, I'm not the best drink reviewer, especially because I'm still enjoying their effects- just tell the bartender what you usually like and ask for recommendations. Come see this place, when you're in Sioux Falls, it is truly a tiki gem.

Ethan was an incredible bartender and made an exquisite dirty martini. Seriously, if you love a good dirty martini, don't skip it. One of the highlights of the evening was learning about the building's history and hearing about the upcoming live music that performs downstairs in the cozy speakeasy. It's definitely a reason to come back again. And a huge shoutout to Leo, the waiter, he is the bomb! Friendly, attentive, personable, and he genuinely made us feel welcome. If you're looking for amazing cocktails, great food, outstanding service, and a place with character, Myrtle's is a must-visit. As a newcomer to Sioux Falls, this is exactly the kind of local gem I was hoping to find. I'll definitely be back!

Went on Friday night, 11/3/18, and an acoustic duo (guitar guy, vocalist girl) were performing. Now, supporting local talent is cool and both of them had a reasonable singing voice but EACH AND EVERY SONG sounded the same. A shrilly, high pitched, vocal rendition of modern tunes that after awhile, grated on your nerves. It really ruined the evening there and I was begging and praying for them to go on break for 45 minutes. I probably will go back and try it once more but I hope mgmt really takes a good hard look at who they hire as 'entertainment'.

Hubs and I needed some "we" time during our family vacation this year, and stumbled upon the Paramount for some pre-dinner drinks. Big time loved the classed-up interior, waaay comfortable seating, and fireplace. The bartender was great: attentive and capable of making a good, strong martini. Bliss! All patrons seemed satisfied, and 'twas a quiet crowd during happy hour--which suited us perfectly. Can't speak to the food, but this place definitely specializes in clear liquids. I'd recommend planning out your grub situation and leaving a clean slate for Paramount to do what it does best.

Definitely worth the price tag!…read more My friend and I were craving Italian so we decided to give Maribella a try. We noticed it was fine dining and were ready to see if it stood up to its hype. Upon arriving, we were asked if we had a reservation-- we did. The restaurant has an Italian rustic yet modern style to it. We were promptly seated and assigned a friendly server. We had previously already has cocktails, so we were only there for food and that's what we ordered. I ordered the Nero pasta which is a squid ink pasta, drenched in a creamy lemon-garlic sauce, topped with seared scallions and some cherry tomatoes. The whole dish came together and wow, it was delicious. I believe this has been the best pasta dish I've ever had, well worth the $40 price tag on this. I had left overs for the next day and it was still just as good. My friend ordered the risotto de mare, seafood risotto and her dish was also delicious and was absolutely satisfied. We left Maribella satisfied and hoping to come back!

Open table asks what we are celebrating but there was nothing congratulatory or special of our day there from our waitress. One gentleman Graham welcomed us and did give special love, but he was just our greeter. He even came by walking by after our meal and checked in, he was the best! Our waitress was nice but not the most helpful on wine selections. I wish there was a wine sommelier who could have helped me further on decisions, I ended up with a wine I didn't enjoy unfortunately. I have a gluten allergy and I am so pleased by all the great food choices and allergy flag. For Friday at 6, I wanted the lamb risotto but it was sold out, I ended with the seafood risotto. That was very delicious; had one broken scallop, 3 shrimp and a decent amount of mussels. I think they could have added another scallop and shrimp but so be it. I needed some lemon and red pepper flakes to flavor it up but our waitress took FOREVER to even check on our first bites. I was waving at bussers and no one came by, after about 10-15 min my partner stopped her. My partners and mother's food were very delicious and they were happy with their meals! If gluten free, I would have gobbled that up! The food was good for Sioux Falls but not the most outstanding service. That lacked.
