Yes, your…read morechild will receive top notch dance instruction, in a fun, supportive environment...but LDI is more than just a dance studio, it is a lovely community where each dancer's sense of self and confidence are nurtured and encouraged. My daughter loves her teachers and dancing here, and as a mom (and someone whose own experience in dance was the old school approach where you were pushed beyond what was actually appropriate for your young body/mind) I appreciate that proper form and alignment are taught, even from a very early age, in a way that is recognizes her as an individual and builds her self esteem. And although the owners and instructors here are former professional dancers and each accomplished in their own rights, I love that the message at this studio is "LDI for all", whether your goal is for a future in the dance world, or just a nurturing environment for your child to learn discipline and movement. 5 stars!!!

Every single staff member trains proper technique and your child will grow leaps and bounds in a really loving environment. The parent community there is wonderful, as well. My 6-year old daughter has been attending LDI for about 1.5 years and participated in 1-week of their Jr. Ballet Intensive summer programs this week. So much was covered in 5-days and she was excited to share about the yoga session, wellness session, learning choreography, ballet, jazz, hip-hop! The 30-minute show at the end of the week was so impressive! We are grateful to have found this studio and would recommend them over and over again!

I don't recommend for younger kids. I brought my twin 4 yr olds in today for a trial class and both…read morethe teacher and the office manager were not at all trained to handle this age group. As soon as we got there, there was no introduction no review of rules or expectations. They brought all the kids in this small room with shiny equipment and they had no plan as to what they were going to do for the time. It was so chaotic and unorganized. The teacher had little to no energy and clueless as to how to grab little one's attention and then the manager walked in pissed off and was so unprofessional I would not trust my kids with them. It's such a shame because the place is actually really nice. We got to great pictures at least! Too bad they missed out on 3 student's enrollment.

He has always had a passion for music and the SOR family has helped him really learn and grow. Everyone from the owner, staff, instructors, and students are great. They really care about their students, music, culture, and overall community. SOR Scripps Ranch provides a safe, welcoming, caring environment for all their students. The opportunities available to the students over the years we have been there have been amazing. They have even performed at such iconic places as the Whiskey a Go-Go in LA, House of Blues in Anaheim, and the Hard Rock Café on the strip in Las Vegas to name a few. Steve and the staff have had a huge part in preparing our son for his college auditions and interviews. Programs such as House Band really helps prepare these young musicians for their future. The show groups are great as well, there is a real sense of teamwork between the instructors and students. It can be nerve racking for most to get up in front of a group of people (large or small) and not only perform but to answer questions being thrown your way. So thankful for everyone at School of Rock Scripps Ranch and proud to be part of the SOR family.

The…read moretoddlers always have big smiles, stay engaged throughout class and genuinely seem to enjoy themselves. Toddler Class: 45-minute class includes music, ballet, bubbles, parachute play, story time, and coloring, which keeps the little ones entertained and (mostly) engaged from start to finish. Instructors: We've had both Olivia N. and Olivia P. and they're both fantastic. They're patient, encouraging and great with the toddlers. It's not uncommon to see a little one wanting to stay close to one of the instructors, which says a lot about how comfortable and safe they make the children feel. Cost: Pricing is comparable to other toddler ballet programs in the area. They also have some great promos, including unlimited classes through August, a free tutu with first-month enrollment and military discounts. Scheduling & Logistics: Scheduling online is easy, make-up classes are available and there are no annual registration or hidden fees. Parking: Free & convenient parking is available right in front of the studio. Overall, we've had a great experience and would definitely recommend TTS-RB to families looking for a fun, welcoming introduction to dance for their toddler.

She is on the younger side, so I understood going in that she might not be able to fully participate in every activity. My goal was not only to help her develop motor skills, but also to give her a chance to socialize and for me to meet other moms, as we are new to the area. Unfortunately, from the moment we arrived, the experience felt very unwelcoming. We showed up to class and no one greeted us. I introduced myself to the instructor and the group and was met with blank stares. I even asked if I could enter the gated area to participate at the start of class, and again received no response. Trying to break the ice, I made a light comment about noticing everyone had their shoes off and asked where I should place my belongings. The instructor, Clarissa, responded coldly with "no shoes allowed," without any further guidance or welcome. Once we got settled, the class itself actually had a nice structure. I appreciated the variety of activities and how it helps introduce young children to a ballet studio environment. Even though my daughter was a bit too young for some parts, I could see the potential value of the program. However, the lack of warmth and basic courtesy completely overshadowed that. I felt uncomfortable the entire time. At the end of class, I left right away because I didn't feel welcomed enough to stay and socialize with the other moms. As I was gathering my things, Clarissa approached me only to hand me a "first class" promotional flyer without any conversation, feedback, or acknowledgment. I had really hoped this would be a place where both my daughter and I could feel comfortable, build connections, and return regularly. Instead, I left feeling disappointed and unwelcome. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Bertrand's Music is a music store focused on "school band & orchestra sales, rentals, lessons, and…read morerepair," as stated on their website. Our middle school band teachers works with Bertrand's Music exclusively and I understand that they trust them. The store itself looks nice. They had some instruments for sale displayed, along with music books. They have rooms for lessons in the back. The parking lot is usually congested though and parking is not easy. Our experience is only with getting an instrument repair quote from them. I'm sure the lessons and rentals are just fine here, but we would not exactly recommend Bertrand's for repairs, especially if you weren't even referred to come here by your school band for an instrument that belongs to the school. They have to ship out the instrument somewhere off site to even give us a quote, and we had to wait ten business days just to hear back that the instrument was unsalvageable and not worth repairing. They were unable to provide us with any written detail of what exactly needed to be repaired and what the cost would be. I'm not sure why they do it like this, because it appears a bit unprofessional. If you're looking for someone to repair a specific instrument that you own, we don't think this is the perfect place to bring it. It would probably be best to find someone who specializes in repairing that instrument to do it on site. Repairs were just one aspect of their business and it's technically a relationship between the school band and Bertrand's, so it didn't bother us. The staff were very nice and accommodating, and we appreciated that. They provided us with a receipt that the school needed, and it was as simple as that. Thank you!

Then I found B&H music in Escondido- they cleaned, adjusted, and replaced the cork for the saxophone for under $70 AND gave us a free loaner saxophone in the meantime. Their turnaround time was only a few days and Bertrand's quoted me 5-7 weeks for repair and would charge for a rental instrument for that time. It's worth a 20 minute drive to save over $1,000! What a rip off. I'd give zero stars to Bertrand's if I could.
