i've been attending The Highlands for approximately 23 years and it's a great church. It's Bible based., very diverse community, and they serve abroad and right here at home. Any church that has been around that long a pastor may have had medical issues which may cause changes....changes with growth.. every church has their 10/10 services and once in a while their 6/10 depending upon who's speaking, subject matter, and what You brought in the door? The Highlands is where you come to say Yes to Jesus, not to judge but to show up, worship Jesus, hear the Word, change your life and to live a transformative lifestyle helping others and serving your community. Terrible church. There isn't even a full time pastor. No one brings a bible, nor is anyone encouraged to do so. Not much scripture to be found here at all. Dead church. They do not emphasize Jesus Christ at all or His word. Girls attend half clothed. No Biblical guidance at all is given. I've been a Born Again Christian for 37 years. This is probably the worst. This place is a zero 0. What a shame. read more

Attended this church for a few years. Was involved with worship and young adults. They exploit their workers, leaders don't take accountability, and they like to control and manipulate. Nothing has changed. Same thing different year. I will not support this church any longer. read more

The Highlands is such a great Church! First time attending was such a great experience Since the min I walked in everyone was so welcoming It has become my second home! I'm forever blessed to be part of an amazing community of believers that are all in the same walk as I am... ALL THE PASTORS ARE WONDERFUL AND I LOVE THEM ALL!! They all deliver the message with so much passion and dedication, ALL PRAISE AND GLORY TO HIM!! Our dear Father. THE WORSHIP BAND ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!! All the Life-groups they offer the classes they have the ministry, the men's and women's Bible study are just amazing! the fellowship some continue outside church... the food pantry that's where my heart is at oh and did I mentioned they have the Best Coffee as well. I'm a 68yo son of a Church of Christ Minister, and throughout my childhood, youth, adolescence and eventually adult life, have been exposed to the True Preaching and Doctrine of the first Churches and True Biblical Gospel of Jesus Christ teachings. I live 1/2 a block away from The Highlands Christian Fellowship, so for a while, I attended their services and I have to say that if you're searching for a CHURCH that teaches the TRUE GOSPEL of Our LORD and Savior, Jesus Chtist and does so with Reverence, Accuracy and also practices Communion every Sunday, then The Highlands Christian Fellowship IS NOT THE CHURCH FOR YOU!!. While I attended there, many-a-time my jaw hit the floor vecausenof what was coming out from behind that pulpit, and I had to literally walk out in the middle of a morning Sunday Service because of the atrocities I was hearing from "the pulpit" as the "pastor" Ken Hart, talked about "church goers" sex in general without ever even mentioning "MARRIAGE" and thusly, literally saw and heard many-a-youth literally cheering at the statements and no clarificatikn was ever given as to the idea of "sex before marriage" topic. I attempted to speak with the "Pastor" (and I use the term very loosely) Ken Hart regarding my concern, but despite several attempts to have my concerns addressed, I was NEVER granted an audience...period! I sincerely I tell you, that what was spewing out of that man's mouth was at best, ABHORRENT...This "Church" could easily be dumped into the classification of a False Preaching Mega Church where attendance and tithing are held waaay ahove the true teachings of what leads a sinner to Salvation, which they very seldom if at all, ever taught... read more

I arrived late, was asked by an usher if I wanted to be seated. I told him I could find a seat. He told me I could not stand in the back and asked me to leave so I did. This happened a few of minutes after entering. I tried to discuss this with a church staff member. They seemed to approve, they need to keep the aisle clear for emergencies they stated. I don't agree with this and will not attend in the future. read more

If you are looking for a Christian church this is it. You always feel welcomed!! Great for kids all ages they have child care for all ages including a nursery. No matter who you are what background sex or gender you will feel welcomed. Very casual you don't have to dress up. I have attended to some churches and unfortunately they tend to be judgmental NOT HERE!! They have a great prayer team worship team etc. Lots of fun events. Lots of classes and groups for singles, couples single parents etc. If you attend this church you will surely to be blessed. read more

Great praise and worship, great youth and kid's ministries, and friendly atmosphere. They have mid week service on Wednesdays at 7PM. 4 services on Sunday (8am, 9:45am, 11:30am, and 6pm). On Sunday evenings they have free coffee and ice tea. read more

This Church is Beautiful!!!!! Its Huge!! and I love it!!!! The people are kind, the church is racially diverse. There's a mixed variety of ethnicities which is very important to me because I'm bi-racial, I'm Caucasian, African American and Hispanic and being able to feel comfortable is a must. They have classes and church for every age group and the Praise and Worship is outstanding! The Pastors are also very nice and caring and they deliver their messages with great compassion and What they teach is very easy to understand. The church offers a variety of different functions and events to attend. I work in the area and I will definitely be attending and referring my friends to this church! The Spirit of the Lord is surely felt in this place! I recommend every one to visit this church its a great place to deepen your relationship with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and it's a great place for family's to come together and grow.
