I'm glad that there is still a brick and mortar store where you can browse books and The actual selection of books is great! You could spend hours looking through the titles. They have a fun selection of other items to look through as well. The books seemed reasonably price but in my opinion everything else was OUTRAGEOUS!! There was a large squeaking pig dog toy for $70!!!! Do people actually spend that for a novelty? We did end up buying a record (not my choice) at a whopping $40. Again, I'm sure we could've found it elsewhere cheaper but wanted to support local business. I may come back and shop for gifts but not for myself

I'm glad to be able to find my way out of the wilderness, to find a working Barnes & Noble, especially since Borders/Waldenbooks went away. My visit went very smoothly today and the store was next to Bed, Bath, and Beyond and close to a number of other stores, so it was extremely convenient. Guessing the layout of the store is the only real surprise. They had two magazines I wanted and I was able to avoid the stinky coffee area, which was wonderful. Checkout was ever so quick and smooth. Prices are not discounted but they/we have to pay for all the people using their store as a library.

If the paper actually arrives, I begin to sincerely hope that it is not raining. If it is raining, I will be picking up 5 pounds of wet pulp from my driveway. If the paper has been put in a plastic bag, note that I said IF, the bag is in no way secured so that when the paper is tossed into the neatest puddle, water leaks right into the bag. One could wonder why, despite MANY calls to customer service, the paper is always dropped just below my paper box. That is correct, they do not use the provided paper box. If you do not already subscribe, I could not recommend a subscription since customer service is not even on their radar.
