I work close to the Greene and I love stopping in to Books and Co. during my lunch break or after work. I had some time yesterday before I had to be at dinner and of course I ended up in the bookstore! I love how this store is set up. They have tables at up right in the front with all the most popular books right now. Even when I don't buy anything, it's nice to walk around and get an idea of what good books everyone is reading.they also have an amazing clearance section and I am usually able to find 2-3 books every time that are on my wish list. These books are usually between $4-10. I also love that they have beautiful editions of the classics and I have purchased many of my favorites in these versions. I know I will stopping in here many more times this year and will find my next favorite read!

OK book store. Some books I were looking for were there, some weren't. Like they didn't have Ready Player One. Anyway, the books that were there, most of the them were more expensive than getting it on Amazon, with shipping included, by about $2-$3 even with the member discount. Which makes sense, they are a B&M store, and you get the convenience of having the book that instant. I'd come back here to buy my books. Only because I like supporting my neighborhood stores.

Nice atmosphere. Kind and knowledgeable staff. Very clean. I don't have anything else to add, but Yelp is stating my review was too short....ok

I don't care about this place. The staff will help you if you ask and will ignore you if you don't. It does offer a quiet environment for one to read through books and drink coffee, but the books are needlessly expensive. Being an English major myself, you would think that some of my cohorts who are employees here would have figured out how to clean a bathroom by now.

it's almost 80 degrees outside and inside the store is 80+ too hot to even shop, Turn on the AC. Customers will stay longer.

I have to agree on the bathrooms. They're SO disgusting just thinking about them makes me never want to go back to the store.

They have lots of sales :) and local library books for sale at $2-4 per book. It's as big as Borders but with a huuuuge bargain section.

What a neat little place! My girlfriend had been wanting to check this place out for some time…read morenow. I'll say, the entrance is a bit sketchy. I thought we were going into meet Tommy No Thumbs in the back of a fish market or something lol. $1.50 per book can't be beat!

I've heard about this for awhile but when I realized we were only a couple of miles away, I knew it…read morewas time. We had to go check out the legend of a massive warehouse of books hidden inside a deceptively industrial area. The entrance and parking lot for Dollar Book Swap are located in the back of the warehouse block they are in, and there are two ways to access the back. One "road" if one shall loosely call it that, is gravely and filled with massive potholes making for an adventurous ride. The road on the other side of the building also gets you to the same place... but it's paved and in good condition... choose your own adventure! Then it's through a door that opens up into... a massive warehouse space. Keep going and then you'll see them. Books. Everywhere. Shelves, giant boxes, display areas, library carts.... all full of books. There is also a DVD section. Smaller rooms open up off of the spaces, one with children's books, another a mystery/suspense room with, fittingly, a taped outline on the floor. There's even a corner space with food items. The vast majority of books are $1.25, with some exceptions, like the step into reading style books 2 for $1.25 or the bags of children's books you can fill for $10 a bag. The selection is a mix of new and used, and as one might expect, it just depends on what they have in stock at the time of your visit. It's a fun adventure to comb the shelves. Check all the nooks and crannies... there's a "book cave" in another corner. Service was friendly and efficient to check out. Fun place to explore if you're in the area.
