I made an appointment online for floor measurement in my bedroom the agent did note that i am not available 11am to1pm but other than that i am available. Then Chandler called me at 7ish in the morning telling me my schedule will be 11 to 1pm so then i told her we make a note prior for setting my appointment. She then told me that she will call her manager and hang up. Few minutes she called back and said we she cannot accommodate me because the manager didnt allow and stating that I shouldnt have make an appointment if im not available sarcastically. I was already thinking that it was okay since a note was made. She wanted me to rebook to think I've waited for this. How I wish they will also consider especially I did make it clear my availability coz they can put me as their last customer for the day its only 13 minutes from the store where i live. This store is racist and discriminated against me for shopping while Black! I just left the store. It is 5:52pm and I went into the store to look for bug spray for spiders. I couldn't find the one I needed because all the sprays did not have spiders listed as one of the many things that it kills. So it took me a while to read the bug sprays. Then all of a sudden a lady appeared in the bug spray area and started straightening up the shelves. I noticed she kept worrying about what I was doing so at some point I got uncomfortable and decided to ask her to help me find what I was looking for. I wanted to utilize her to actually help a customer shop instead of spying on me and assuming I am there to steal. I'm sorry I can't help the fact that I am black but I do know one thing, not all black people steal. Your store consist of many different people with different backgrounds, why did you pick me to come follow around and spy on. This behavior is terrible and should stop. Stop discriminating on black shoppers. We work hard to and have money. We are not thieves. Everyone race has good and bad folks. Pls treat all shoppers equally and with respect. Kenneth one of the employees there was taking forever to help people, had an attitude and seemed to think it was so funny to have different people complain on his lack of help. Worse experience of my life, apart from 1 person there training for their own store the entire place and crew is garbage. Nobody helps, nobody cares what's going on. The only positive is a female manager that is over garden. Most of herbs and vegetables in pots out front are dead or no leafs. I was buying stuff to plant a garden and the last thing I needed was a shovel. They had the aisle blocked off for a while so I walked to the other end to ask if they could stop for a moment so I could get a shovel. He said no because they had a lot of pallets to bring down because they are reorganizing. I told him why don't he take the weed and feed on the aisle behind him and move that because it is above the muriatic acid because it is a potentially a bomb if any of the bags have holes in them. I turned in a Ridgid orbital sander for Lifetime warranty work to Balch Springs, TX HD on 01/10/2023. The tool rental desk charged me $32.48 for "Evaluation Labor charge". Took my sander and said it would be 6-8weeks to get sander back and the charge back once I picked the sander up. I called 02/27/2023 to check on sander. I was told HD Balch Spring is not a store anymore to turn it warranty work. The sander was waiting on Ridgid to determine the course of action on the sander. Well, When I turned it in It was smoking and it just died. Don't think there is anything to do but replace it in my opinion. Called today 03/27/2023 to check status on sander. The lady at the tool rental desk didn't know anything. She transferred me to Customer Service desk. The CS Rep said the manager in Tool Rental dept. would call me back in 5-10 minutes. Never happened. I called back and asked to speak to the Manager. Put on hold, Transferred, put back on hold, transferred again, put back on hold and hung up on. Called back and the same process of on hold and transferred. Finally CS said she would have the manager call me. We'll see. Seems like to me HD/Ridgid took my sander, charged me to turn it in and lost the sander. I have bought and own multiple Ridgid tools for the Lifetime warranty aspect. Lifetime warranty means nothing with this kind of bs service. Thankful I'm retired and use my tools as a DIYer and don't depend on my tools to make a living. You would go broke waiting for Ridgid to repair/replace or loose your tool. I went to Harbor Freight and bought an orbital sander to replace while waiting on this Ridgid sander to be returned to me. 1/6th of the Ridgid price and just as good in my opinion. While under warranty if it goes to crap. I return it to Harbor Freight and they give me a new one. I walk out happy and tool in hand. I will NEVER buy RIDGID tools again and maybe not buy any tools from Home Depot. This totally frustrating and all lost in the confidence in HD/Ridgid. Went this morning to the purchase a water heater the one we needed was in the 2nd shelve. Naturally we looked for someone to help, rarely any associates to help. When we finally found someone to help he just walked by and said he'd look for a plumbing associate to help he paged. Waited 10 minutes and no one showed, asked 3 more people and paged a total of 4 times to get help and 40 minutes later still standing in Isle 9 waiting for a "plumbing associate " to help us. Work on your shit ass customer service and what's the point of having employees who are standing around paging one another and not one of them can help customers. Placed a online order while I was at work so I could pick it up on the way home @ 3:45pm I received a text saying my order was ready for pick up. I get to the home depot at 6pm waiting in line for about 10mins to talk to the employees at the return/ customer pick up when it's my turn the employees can't find my order waited about 30 mins while she calls & try's to find my order. The store itself is pretty well layed out and it is easy to find things. Prices are pretty in line with other places. Parking lot can be a pain, but not to the point you would avoid stopping here. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT order anything from this Home Depot that needs to be delivered. The item was ordered on April 24th, 2021 supposed to be delivered on May 5th, 2021. They have no idea what they are doing. I was given the go round and the scheduled delivery date changed multiple times and even put off until May 25th. This is the most unacceptable customer service I have ever experienced. The number they told me to call gave me a different one to call and so on 4 different numbers because no one knew what they were doing. I will never shop here again. I am highly sadden and disappointed that we had such an awful experience at the local Home Depot this past weekend. Our whole family goes to this location for our everyday house improvement needs. What we experienced this past weekend has really made us examine finding a new home improvement company and take all of our business elsewhere. My husband and I have been working to replace the wooden fence post from our back yard fence for some time now, changing the wooden ones with metal ones in preparations to replace the panels in the near future. My husband made an initial trip Saturday morning to buy 3 metal posts, came home and we got to work. Well our neighborhood is built on clay and really tough to break through dirt. The fact that it hasn't rain in a while was making it even harder to dig the new holes for the metal poles to go into. It was then that my husband decided to go back to Home Depot and rent a "Stroke Post Hole Digger". He brought it home and we were able to dig the holes pretty quickly and easily. Once we were done he took it back to the store and that's when everything went south! At the point of returning the machine, the lady at the counter accidentally charged him what they call a "salvage fee" A fee that is $700+!!!!!! We noticed that the clerk was having a hard time checking the item back in, she kept making comments like "oh no, I didn't mean to push that" and "oh wait, let me make sure this is right" at the end she still made a mistake and charged our debit card $700!!!! (Please note that this placed my husband's checking account in negatives) Once we noticed what had happened, she called over another person. This young man tried to help, but was unable to void the transaction. Then the assistant manager was called......long story short.... My husband spent 4 hours at the location....spoke to multiple people, the lady that made the initial mistake was careless and clocked out in front of us stating "I have to go because my 40 hours are complete". The transaction was not able to be voided! Apparently, when you rent a machine from Home depot, and they run your card initially at pick up, they don't need to run your card again when you drop it off, and they have the ability to charge it. IF a mistake is made at any time during the transaction, their rental system DOES NOT have the ability to void a transaction!!!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! You are a multi-million dollar corporation! And you mean to tell us that you have an antiquated system that prevents you from doing one simple correction function?!?!?!? You have to do better! Your customers deserve better! Today is Monday, almost 48 hours after the occurrence, my husband spoke to the store manager this morning, we will be overnight-ed a check from a corporate office in Atlanta, however the check has to still be approved. These types of mistakes and the inability of fixing them in a timely manner puts customers like us in a financial bind and unnecessary grief. A $700 worth mistake effects someone's livelihood and is not money that people just have laying around. The part was a very common toilet flange to assemble over the floor. This "associate" called another associate to help him and looks like fun but nether of them know how the part looks like. They sent me to another store in another city and there I had the same problem. They then sent me to another store other than Home Depot. read more

This store has the most contractors shopping there that been said it's hard to find inventory on some items that other homedepot carry, but the worst is the paint dept that has a matching paint machine that constantly breaks and I'm force to shop for paint else where in dallas area that takes an hour to hour & half so it's cutting my work time . I'm a loyal Home Depot customer and spend tens of thousands a year here through my company with the pro desk. This past Saturday I went shopping for several things and as the pro desk was closed I decided to check out through the self checkout. The line wasn't too long but once it was my turn to check out, I was trying to apply a coupon I had. The employee came over to me and told me his machine register was acting up, I respectfully asked for an alternative to which he said it just simply couldn't be done. I suggested if could enter it a different way to which his response was that it would require a manager to come and made it seem like such a hassle while smacking a piece of gum. This store is filthy and the product's are so dirty you do not even want to touch them. The shelving holding the heavy stone product's are broken and unstable. It's an accident waiting to happen. The associate's are too busy watching mandatory training video's to be visible in their department's for customer needs and concerns. Most of the time the product's are not available in the store for the customer's to buy. The store is rat, mouse, snake and brown recluse infested to the point that you can see them crawling around on the shelves. Feces all over the shelves and floors. The staff lacks the basic knowledge of the product they sell much less how to use them safely and correctly. They stack fertilizers and pool chemicals in too close proximity to each other. This is an explosion waiting to happen. Management doesn't seem to care enough to address these issue's and the one's that do cannot get the backing to make these changes. The garden department associate's cannot name the plant's they sell much less tell a customer how to plant and care for them properly. Most of the time the plant material is dead, sun scorched or otherwise water stressed do to the lack of proper watering techniques to maintain them in desirable sale quality. The shelf of this home depot are so empty at times. Today I went in looking for a new thermostat for my house and to my surprise they had a bigger selection then Lowes. I will say that there was no shortage of help. Bit that's where the pros for me end. The return line was so long that it was kinda difficult to get in. People dot want to move out of the way to let others come in. The check out lines were ridiculously long. At one time I looked up and the cashier had dissappeared. She seemed to be in a bad mood. I noticed that she was not bagging customers purchases and when it was my turn to check out she did it to me too. She handed me 1/2 of my purchase while the other 1/2 was still sitting on the counter and would you know it she started ringing the customer behind me. When I told her I was a vet and asked for my discount she insisted on me showing her a military id. I held up my drivers license to her reply of " I NEED A MILITARY ID" now with attitude. I pointed to my military status on my drivers license, she gave me a sigh and proceeded to check me out. I will continue to come here but I will never go through her line again. Sorry Pauline.
