I had wrote a bad review of them charging us $1500 to wrap some palm trees for the winter and then asking them a quote to take them down (which would've been significantly easier an faster) and they were charging us $2500 to unwrap the trees! I had another company do it for $250 took 20mins. Generally there's warrantees when you buy palms (or at least they will work with you on giving you discounted trees for the ones that they gave you that died or be accommodating in some means) we bought a few costing in the thousands. All of our palm trees had died that we purchased from them (if I remember correctly, they were $3800 apiece?) My husband just talked to the company and they said they won't replace anything because I left a bad review!!!!!!!!!!! so I guess I'm being black balled literally because I left honest review!!!!! we own several businesses ourselves never would I ever even think of treating a customer in such a unprofessional and honestly resentful way. Like is this guy really trying to take revenge on me for my honest review?! I have a social media following about 100k more lifestyle, content, tho I've never left a review about a business on my personal social media page I Definitely am going to leave one now and warn my followers of my personal horrible experience with this company. he literally admitted he's not doing anything about it because I left a bad review i'm in shock that A company can be so vengeful and unprofessional. Purchased a magnificent 21 ft, Palm, to replace a large tree that had died over the freeze of Feb/2021. The team of five they sent to remove the existing tree and replace it with the new Palm was as top-notch. It was an incredibly tight space around the pool, and I was concerned about damaging the closely located lighting and speaker wiring. Their team listened and reassured, skillfully and neatly completing the job. They left the place clean. They were individually very knowledgeable about fertilizing and proper winter care. I never write reviews. However, delivery service with this company is awful. Had 3 expensive palm trees delivered and planted. They drove heavy equipment through my front yard without permission or putting plywood down. Left deep, uneven ruts in my nice front yard when there was a perfectly good driveway to use. They said they would come to repair it and they did a half ass job, so I paid my landscape company to repair it correctly. They also dumped residual soil in a pile in my back yard and left the hose piled up on the ground instead of rolling it back up on the wheel. Basically a total mess and spent close to 4K. Would shop around or be very specific when discussing delivery and planting. read more

I purchased a large Pindo Palm ($750) supplied by Texas Palms. It appeared to be in good shape when planted, but very quickly over a period of a month started deteriorating. I communicated with the owner and followed all recommendations but it continued to decline and completely died within a 3 month period. I have been unsuccessful in getting a replacement from Texas Palm. I reached the gentlemen on the phone but as soon as I mentioned that I would like to discuss replacement, he immediately said he couldn't talk. He doesn't respond to emails. Be careful. Seemingly decent source for palms and other off the beaten track plants. Unfortunately in my case they took 2/3's of the quoted order for a deposit and then only delivered 1/3 of the plants. They sat on the rest of the order for more than 2 weeks telling me each time I asked that they'd have then "early next week". When they finally started working the rest of the order, they said they lost the list. Luckily I had a copy, gave it to them again, and they say on it for another 2 weeks. After a month, Ismael Rodrigez(the owner) claims his wholesalers never had the plants he quoted me and he has to order them from California. Then he asks me if I really want them!!!! Really??? Do not shop here. Do not visit here. It is poorly run and poorly managed. I'm on a mission to get part of my money back now. If I could give it ZERO stars, I would. read more

I bought a pindo palm tree in mid April for $650 and was told that there would be a six month warranty. Early Oct the tree takes a turn and abruptly begins to look feeble - now it has died. I drove out to the nursery to show pictures of the tree and the owner immediately tells me that palm trees have no warranty. My immediate thought is - palm trees are about all you sale and I certainly wouldn't think that the warranty would cover banana trees and flowers. Initially he told me I under watered the tree then after seeing a picture of my second pindo palm which I purchased from Covington's in Rowlett, he told me I underwaterd it. Now I'm thinking we'll which one is it? By the way, I received the watering and maintenance instructions from Covington's nursery and as I mentioned before the tree I purchased from them is thriving. He gave me the option of bringing it back and letting me exchange it for a palm tree that's only 1/3 of the size. When someone says they provide a warranty I expect to be made whole. I noticed that the mention of a warranty is not on the receipt - this gives him the right to exercise the option of not honoring a verbal warranty if he so chooses. Stick with Calloways, Covington's or Christina's - they are more expensive, but they are reputable and stand by their warranty. read more
