Purchased pavers from this store to pick up the next day with trailer. Spoke with customer service, did the appropriate paperwork, paid for pavers, and all was set. Got there the next day and the pavers were sold! So they made money twice off these. No one got them onto a pallet and marked them as "held or sold", nor marked them in system since system said they were -2200 stones, yet there were 300 on display in garden area. Their way of fixing it, "the Ellsworth store has them in stock". Over two hours additional drive time for us! If you're buying from here, bring your trailer in advance. It's cheaper to drive empty trailer back home then it is to make multiple trips around the state to pick up something you already paid for! read more

Typical Home Depot store that offers gardening, landscaping and home improvement supplies. Also offers a full-service loading station for getting large items into your car, but the gardening section is a little thin. Customer service is friendly and helpful but mildly inefficient as I had to wait while they called the department rather than calling as I walk over or just sending me to the correct aisle. Pretty good spot for Bangor for home improvement needs if you're not buying local. read more

ACS carpet installers, hired by Home Depot, damaged 2 walls (holes) when installing our carpet. These walls were brand new sheet rock and two corner walls have holes from slamming the carpet into the corners of the walls. The installers acknowledged they did the damage and we have yet to receive compensation for the damage that we have to repair. They did not clean up after completing the installation. They brought a vacuum but only used it in the downstairs hall - and not well. We had to vacuum all the carpets to remove threads that were all over it. Carpet seams were sloppy and we had to have a second team come in to repair the seams. We had to sweep up screws and nails that were left on the floor of the room not carpeted. They left razor blades in the window sills. We contacted ACS and Home Depot and neither is responding after several attempts. read more

It's your standard Home Depot, but what has really made my experience extraordinarily is Lynn in the garden supplies department. This Home Depot is not a bad place to shop if you don't need any assistance. If you do, you're screwed. Don't get me wrong, there are a few unicorn employees there that are actually nice, like the guys in the paint department and a couple people in the "Pro" department. Other than that, good luck. The one employee that I always have the terrible misfortune of dealing with works at the customer service desk. I believe her name is Beverly. Our company does business with this location for all of our projects. And every time I have had this woman assist me, she tells me she cannot help me or cannot do this or that or etc. And EVERY SINGLE TIME she has said this, I have gone to ANY other employee and they have been able to assist me. I know what you're thinking. She must be new or dumb. Nope. She has awards for multiple things all hanging on the front of her shirt. That leaves me with one answer. Beverly just really dislikes me. I have no idea why because she has been this way since the first time I have met her. Maybe she dislikes women, which would be strange. Or she dislikes my race. Or she hates short people. I'm not sure. She is a terrible person. But that's not the only reason. I've already written a previous review for the terrible service offered here. It's not the place. It's the employees. I've been convincing my boss to switch to Lowe's for all three of his businesses. read more

I had a delivery scheduled and my order didn't show, next day i called and was told the truck broke down and rescheduled me for the next day. Again my order didn't show and i was told the truck was full and couldn't fit my order in the truck then i was told they came back for the order then i was told they didn't know where the driver is but he has my order then i was told they didn't have time to deliver it but will tomorrow. I get being short handed but good customer service is communicating with people, they knew at 8am my order didn't make it on the truck and should have called me. Terrible service for appliance delivery and installation. We bought and had them deliver and install ( for a fee$$) a dishwasher and dryer. The dishwasher trips the breaker with every use , and the dryer has a dE code flash meaning the door isn't closing correctly meaning neither is in use from the start. Both defective products/ installation. Hours on the phone with multiple managers and workers/ still not resolved!.. Will never purchase anything of value from them again read more

Good luck with delivery. The subcontractors handling it are not timely and they delivered damaged goods. Of course the damage was well concealed and I'm stuck with returning it myself. When I called Home Depot for some resolution I was given the bums rush. I'm returning my appliances and doing business with anyone else from now on. The store is an absolute mess. Nothing is organized, no one ever helps you, and employees are incredibly rude and useless.

Prices were by far the best on the name brand bathroom fixtures and faucets etc. Even tho they charged me extra for delivery on the sinks and toilets and vanity tops it was still a lot less. But wow they were slow getting stuff here, took over 3 weeks. Be sure to allow yourself plenty of advance time to get stuff (at least a a month). I called a few times to figure out where it was, the reps are very polite but the answers always amounts to just hurry up and wait...... read more
