I recently was in Cedartown for other reasons. While I enjoyed a meal at McDonalds, I saw the Home Depot over the way. I wonder if they'll have cypress mulch? I ventured over and not only did they have it but had enough for me to have 20 bags to tug all the way home to Calhoun. Glad that Cedartown was well stocked!! Rodney gladly stacked the bags in my truck!! He was very efficient, nice persnality and very happy to help me!! I would gladly cast my vote for Cedartown Home Depot!!!! Have never had a problem here in any respect. Bought almost all of the materials to renovate my home (down to the studs) here, including all major appliances. Have also purchased several large tools for my shop. Staff can be hard to locate sometimes, but when not busy with other customers, most are knowledgeable and friendly. read more

If I could give THIS Home Depot a zero star rating I would. We bought a grill from them and had it delivered which was supposed to be free delivery (no charge) given it's over a $35 purchase but instead the individual who "ordered" it charged us $99 for me picking a specific time after he asked which time worked best and charged us without even acknowledging the extra charge. Then when it arrived to our home it had rust all over it and water in the temperature gage. So they basically sent us one that had been sitting outside for god knows how long when I specifically asked for a brand new one IN A BOX because it was supposed to be my husbands Christmas present that was going to be wrapped. So we had to disassemble it and take it back and I asked for an exchange and to have the new one ordered online not one from this store. So instead the red headed moron did a return and since I didn't have the card the initial purchase was made on we couldn't even order a new one. Mind you this same moron is the one who made the first order that was all fucked up. He was rude, unapologetic, and outright had THE WORST customer service I've ever experienced. If you work in a small town you should probably have a little bit more empathy or maybe you shouldn't work in customer service. read more

We went to buy a riding mower at Home Depot. Of course my Home Depot card wouldn't work, the card reader wouldn't read it. The girl at the counter tried to be helpful but no luck. She was polite and kind though I was angry and wanted to leave. She called card services who couldn't verify my info though the girl at the counter had my license and Home Depot card in her hand. I was declined. We used a regular credit card. We spent $2,300.00 on the mower, (which, by the way), the warranty DOES NOT COME WITH THE MOWER. A 3 year warranty would've been &347.00 extra. We declined the warranty. The mower is now ours so we put gas in it and tried to load it on the trailer but it wouldn't start. I went back in and got the Associate from Lawn and Garden who by the way had only worked there for a couple of months and didn't know a anything about the riding mowers. The battery had to be replaced, it was dead. I had to install it, they didn't have tools with them after bringing a new battery. (REALLY?????) While installing the battery I told him don't leave yet, if this thing doesn't start I'll be wanting a refund. Yep, he walked away. There was another employee who stayed behind. On top of it all, for $2300.00 they give you one key. Things sure have changed. We cranked the mower and loaded it on the trailer. What a pain this purchase was!!!!! Probably won't go back to the Cedartown Home Depot again. read more

Cody, The guy with the spikes in his hair was a rock star helping me. I know my order was large but so was his attitude. This Home Depot has a better than usual lawn and garden center, and is usually very well stocked.

One register open in the lumber section self checkout backed up employees standing around talking one s cleaning with a mask on O please!!!

Very helpful. They've got everything I need and the staff is very knowledgeable. Clean store and well stocked.

Remember the "good old days" when the folks working the floor at a Home Depot store really went out of their way to help you find exactly what you needed? At this one they still do. This Home Depot is great but at the same point in time if you want truly personal service you should try crookers on west ave or Cedartown hardware. read more
