    Plain and simple - their customer service and availability of employees is horrible. Shame, because the store has lots of items and is convenient to shop. Except they really need to train many of their employees to actually like customers instead of avoid and eye roll.

    Just came from the Home Depot in Conshohocken. Went in to get some paint and the small plumbing part and some blinds. The gentleman in the plumbing department was on a forklift and the area was closed. I asked him about the toilet part and he kindly lower the forklift, and left what he was doing, open the gate for me and help me find the right part. So kind and caring. Thank you for the excellent service.

    There's stuff in here you didn't know you needed. Not as well lit, clean, managed, or diverse as Lowe's but prices are a bit better.

    My wife and I purchased a Maytag washer about a month or so ago at the Plymouth meeting Best Buy…read more It was delivered on time, but the installer was unable to detach the old hot water hose from the faucet, and so had to install the washer with the old, decrepit hose - leaving the new one behind. He had put some WD40 on the fitting but was then still unable to detach the old hose. He specifically instructed us to contact Best Buy and arrange for someone else to come out again to install the new hot water hose after the WD40 had had time to work. Today the Best Buy installers came to finish the job and refused to touch it, saying that was not their job. Best Buy uses contracted, third-party installers who are utterly incompetent, and cannot do the job, and take no responsibility for their actions. Best Buy for their part, uses third-party sh**it contractors because they are cheap. So far, Best Buy has failed to honor its service contract with us (we paid for a 5-year service contract), and failed to honor its original sales contract with us in that the new hot water hose has still not been installed and we are just waiting for the old one to fail. If Best Buy does no make this good IMMEDIATELY, we will be filing suit, naming the Plymouth Meeting store, the company itself, the sales person who sold us the washer, and the manager of the Plymouth Meeting store. (Will update this review as the situation warrants. For now, DON'T BUY FROM BEST BUY where installation is needed. They contract with SH**IT installers.)

    Absolutely the worst customer service experience I've had in years. I purchased a Samsung TV…read moreyesterday and the staff was very rude and disrespectful when I told them that when I got it home, the product was faulty. Apparently there was a problem with the tube and I told them that I needed someone to come and pick it back up and exchange it for a different mom. The staff was adamant that they would not help but if I return the 65 inch council they would replace it. I am older middle aged and my wife is very tiny. Additionally, I have a bad shoulder so this needless to say was a very poor experience. I live 10 minutes away from the store and it was easy to have one of the ASSOCIATES hop in the van swap out the product and provide excellent customer service. They decided to go the opposite direction until my wife educated them. They did not see anything wrong with the interaction. I will not be shopping at Plymouth Meeting Best Buy moving forward.

    I will not be using Lowe's again and strongly recommend avoiding their installation services…read more I paid Lowe's about $2,600 upfront to remove carpet from my stairs and install wood treads. My contract clearly included both materials and labor. The materials were delivered, but no one ever contacted me about next steps. After I had to proactively call Lowe's, I was told they made a billing mistake and I would need to pay an additional ~$450 -- something I would have no way of knowing or catching as a customer. They only discovered this after speaking with the installer. What's worse is that instead of contacting me, the employee who made the mistake added a note in their system stating that I had agreed to pay the additional cost -- which is completely untrue. I only found out when I received a random text asking me to sign an updated contract. I spent over a month escalating this issue and made 10+ calls between the store and corporate. Even though Lowe's admitted this was their error, they refused to honor the original contract. My only options were to pay more or cancel. I was forced to take a refund after weeks of delays. This was a complete failure in process, communication, and accountability. I paid in full based on Lowe's contract, and they still wouldn't stand behind it. Even as a long-time customer of over 15 years who has used Lowe's for previous projects, they refused to make this right. I will not be using Lowe's again and strongly recommend avoiding their installation services.

    I shop at this location several times a week between home improvement and the garden center. Since…read morepurchasing our home we have spent a pretty penny at Lowe's and expect better service than we have. Recently I have been met with a lot of issues when purchasing things or locating items. The only people I have encountered at this location that are truly helpful and pleasant are Mike, the appliance supervisor(?), the gentleman with dreadlocks at the customer service who's name is escaping me but has helped me dozens of times, as well as the older gentleman with glasses in the garden center who is always so kind hearted with my little girls. If they did not work at this location I would honestly never return. I want it to be known that my review is not a reflection of these individuals because without them I believe this store would be ill equipped to deal with any customer service issues.
