Then another customer came in and wanted a chain cut the lady who was helping me at the desk didn't know how to do it. So she asked me to do it. Then the guy who was sitting outside on a forklift, comes in and yells at me for doing it. if you don't want your customer to use it, put it around back. Also, I understand it has to deal with insurance purposes. I don't stay outside the entire time or train your other employees on how to use it. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I rebuild cars trucks, tractors side-by-side all kinds of stuff. You guys are always the place to go to. But now I will not be doing that. I will go to busy beaver where they don't give a crap if we use a tool.

Kits are for sale as well as yardage and any other supplies. My friend and I purchased kits for a beautiful panel quilt as well as a baby quilt. We spent some bucks but the quality was well worth it. The owner was especially friendly and accommodating. It was very busy but she helped my friend find exactly the items and fabrics she needed and took time to talk to us. During a quilt hop, the shops get extremely busy and crowded. One sometimes feels rushed, but not here. The staff people and owner were great.

I took it to another, closer, authorized service dealer who determined that it needed an upgrade to the software and they did that upgrade. They did not put it on a frame or quilt with it to test it. When I got it home, it was OK, but I had a lot of trouble with tension. I finally got that working pretty good until 2 years later when a very mysterious thing started happening - it was acting like there was thread stuck in it. So - back it went. Long story short - 3 boards and 6 weeks later I got it back. It now had a very loud whining noise, absolutely terrible tension, and nearly vibrated out of my hands when I tried to use it. I was NOT going back there again. I searched the HQ website and found that Quilt Peddler had won awards for their service so decided to try there. Lugene (sorry if I spelled that incorrectly) is a miracle worker! Every issue is gone and my Avante now works even better than when I first bought it. She also took the time to educate me on how components of the system worked and other things I should have been doing all along regarding power supply and maintenance. learned so much in the one day she spent with me! Their setup is a bit sprawling. Many different areas to go and many greenhouses to explore. I sometimes just mindlessly walk through these like a toddler that is bored out of his mind following their parent. I will linger, touch things, hum to myself, mumble...you know, whatever. I personally did not buy anything while I was here. I ended up just kind of walking about and agreed to what my family was talking about. I actually had my eyes on other things. Like the displays that were out and about. I definitely did make my way over to the koi pond they had and stood there for a good amount of time. But the big thing that held my attention here were the guard cats. I know, they aren't really guard cats, but they were basically staff since they were the resident mousers. One was the most friendly cat in the world and the other was a stealthy mass of fur. Totally stayed in that particular greenhouse for a longer time than need be. Even though I didn't buy a single thing here, I did notice the outstanding customer service this place gave. My parents did have a question in regard to a certain plant and the guy helping them were all over it.

I had been all over the area looking for a specific battery and could not find it anywhere. That included Harbor Freight. I walked around for a bit before I found the battery section. I stood there for a while and could not find the one I needed. Mind you I had stopped at about five places before coming here. Now this is where it gets good. I was standing there for a bit. Looked over every item. Pulled out my phone to do a last minute search to see if my battery was correct. While I was doing this an employee came up and asked if I needed any help. I told him what I needed and tried to give a battery that wasn't what I was looking for. He suggested I look online and I didn't want to do that, I needed it now. I asked where I could go to find one in the area, it was a longshot. You know asking another business what other business I should go to. But I was surprised, he told me exactly where to go and that this store dealt with nothing but batteries. I was pleasantly surprised.

This particular one takes up a majority of the space in an old shopping plaza. It is tucked away somewhat in a corner, behind other businesses that face the road. If you are driving on the road, I can almost guarantee that you will not know this is here. This place is kind of set up as a flea market-esque style. Vendors can buy space to display their wares, but do not have to be present for their items to sale. I believe that each section has their own color/marking of identification to alert the cashier as to where the money goes once the sale is completed. Items range all over the place here. The last time I was here there are gently used items to brand new, not out of the package yet items as well. Everything from fresh produce to furniture can be bought within the walls. Just to give you a heads up, this place can be bit of a maze to navigate and you definitely have to come here when you have time to spare. It is not one of those quick stop spots to run in and grab what you need (think of it as a place where you want, but not need items). I cannot remember fully if this place is cash only or not, I want to say not, but that may not be true. One my next visit I will check to be sure. I will also have to check to see what the hours are as well.
