Now I get it, they have to cover the overhead and have to pay to stock the item with no surety that they will ever sell it. But 80% more for simple drain strains and 60% more for my Bubba cup seems to me to be just a tad too much for my liking. Yes, I could have ordered it from Amazon and paid the 10 in shipping making it almost the same price (maybe that is how they price things) And yes I am grateful that I can now insulate my 50 oz of water and not have to get up at night and refill it. But even 7-11 back home gave us a break on the Big Gulps to get us to overpay on the Dorritos...

I went there and as soon as i saw it i knew it wasn't going to have buckets. I asked a different employee and she rolled her eyes and said "were out" then went back to whatever she was doing. On my way out of that isle i saw a stack of buckets on isle 7. We went to pay and our card didn't go through. She had us both try several times. We ended up paying cash. Got home and found out it DID go through and now we have to deal with the bank and go back to deal with this again!

Picked up some basic repair/spruce-up supplies for a new place I bought in the area, and a couple of the items weren't going to work. Went in with no receipt, and they were quick and accommodating. Swapped out water lines for a different length/type and instead of having the owner give me change for the difference... told him to toss me some teflon tape for the plumbing repairs. He protested, "but still, even with the tape... I owe you a quarter!!!" and insisted that I have a credit next time I come in, ha! (and, of course... "I'll be back") Super nice people. As several other ACT 20/22 people have mentioned, they MAKE KEYS ha- and QUICK too! (was done with 4 sets of keys in about 3 or 4 mins) and also purchased a mailbox lock cylinder that I swapped out (unit didn't come with a mailbox key, sadly) - cost about $6

I bought a new Moen bathroom faucet because my mother-in-law's was leaking badly. I was happy that I found a Moen, which is headquartered not far from where I live in Ohio. The faucet installed quickly, easily, and didn't leak. Now my in-laws have their bathroom back because it was out of commision for a while. I also bought and replaced the shower head and shower accessory hanger. All were much needed upgrades. I noticed a large rat patroling my in-laws yard, so I purchased a rat trap to handle that issue. When money is given and you get attitude, inconvenience, and no product...yes you are absolutely entitled to all those not so awesome frustrating emotions. Especially if the items are expensive like they are here. We had scheduled a time for a dishwasher to be delivered and installed and what do you know, no one showed up or even bothered to call. Setting up the appointment with that sales rep was difficult enough. When we called no "sorry" or "whoops, that sucks that you had to clear your schedule for this delivery. " The sales rep was down right indifferent and rude with no apologies and made us feel as though it was our fault. Thats just not ok. This got escalated to the owner of the store eventually and he had to get directly involved. He was was really nice, and was able to get the dishwasher installed for us but we could have done without the grief from that sales rep multiple times. We understand that mistakes happen, but own them, especially if we're repeat customers. If we were working with the owner the entire time this review wouldn't be at 2 stars! #St.Thomas #USVI
