From these super cute mistletoe cactus ( I stopped by for a Xmas tree and got this cutie instead!) to gorgeous Thai Constellation Monstera with beautiful variegation to philodendrons I'd never even heard of ! Get there soon because unfortunately if you know Home Depot they don't care for their plants well and these beauties will soon show the neglect we are all too familiar with. I should start by saying that i am by no means a "home construction/lumber store expert", but I have been to other Home Depot locations. Although staff was nice, and the store was clean... selection seemed awfully light. I looked at light fixtures, interior doors, paint, and a few other things and was very surprised and disappointed in the selection in ALL of those departments. If you must shop for these things in this area and are bent on Home Depot - drive a little farther or go online. read more

Best thing Home Depot ever did and is their saving grace. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! If I could give a 0 star I would, I use to get my wood there often and from time to time I would need them to cut it, but i was always told the machine was broke. So I placed an order for smaller size wood so I wouldn't have to ask them to cut it. I received my text saying it was ready. I got there and sent the pick up message n waited 15 min, I decided to go in. I was told that she was going get it, she wasn't sure what was taking so long. She told me to pull my truck to the loading area, I waited another 15 min and yes I was timing myself because I was in a hurry. I called the customer svc and I was hung up on. I called back and the same lady picked up and said that she was walking to the back and said she didn't know what was going on. At this point I'm done i just want my stuff and go and never look back at Zackary Home Depot. Nothing and no one in 20 min this time. Finally I see the lady but no items and she was leaving so I stopped her and she said o they had to get the key they are on the way you should be able to see them though the double doors. OK really I'm done and I just want a refund and go to Lowes go get my wood. I go to customer service and express my experience and she was new on the clock she didn't know what was going on so I explained!! I advised her I paid online and I wanted my money back, she looked at me and said they didn't give me a cash choice and she hit the refund button. So I now have to wait 5 days for my refund and have to take money out of my pocket to repay for wood. This store is horrible!! I escalated to management 2 on duty and they were just as bad as their sorry employees!!! read more

When in need of information about anything you have to wait for some contractor or self-employed laborer to walk by. Waiting to ask a store employee is pointless. They dont know anything... Most of the floor reps are nice but the office staff are so rude. We travel to Lowe's to shop, now. Longer drive but so much less stress dealing with them. It starts with management. Do Not Make A Purchase in the Tool Rental Department! On March 18th I bought a used trailer from the Tool Rental Department at the Zachary Home Depot. They did not have the title and I was told to call the next day. The next day the person in the Tool Rental Department told me it wasn't their job to order the title. After multiple failed attempts I finally gave up and asked for a refund on April 2nd. After an initial attempt to brush me off via an associate; Tom, the Tool Room Manager, finally spoke to me. He then told me the title was my responsibility to retrieve from the DMV. He actually told me I was supposed to take my receipt to the DMV and they would issue the title! Complete nonsense! After I asked him to explain how that would work he began to change his story. He then told me he couldn't restock the item so I was stuck with it. After escalating things to the Store Manager I was again told I was stuck with the trailer because they had no way to restock the item. I asked the Manager, Dawayne Gates, for the name of his boss. He said he couldn't give that information! After calling the 800 number I was given the District Managers name without hesitation. I left the store without the trailer seeing that there STILL is no title! Neither of the Managers tried to offer a solution or any gesture for the total hassle and waste of time this has been. Furthermore, Tom lied to his boss in front of me with regards to ordering the title. He said it was ordered immediately which I know to be false through numerous contacts with the store. They have a $1000.00 of my money and I have no trailer. I had to borrower a trailer from a friend. I am waiting to hear from the DM to resolve this. read more

Was in the Zachary store late this evening to get a mailbox. Upon leaving the store someone that works there was blowing off the concrete under the canopy in the drive pick up area. There was a haze all over the parking area. At first I didn't know what caused it, but I went on out. I got covered with dust and it got on my face & in my eyes. And vehicles were covered also. That was a POWERFUL blower! But that is unacceptable! I'd like to see how he liked it if that happened to him. Tried to call the store, but no one ever came on the customer service line. I would have given it no stars, but that wasn't an option. read more

HOME DEPOT SUCKS!! My husband bought a gas grill this past Saturday, June 29, in person at Home Depot in Zachary but paid to have it delivered and put together. It was delivered Monday, July 1. However, it was already put together because they brought us the floor model. We got ready to use it today and the electric start doesn't work. After troubleshooting (and my husband is an electrical commissioning engineer), I called Home Depot (2:15 PM) and told them the situation. I was told that we could return the grill for a full refund or exchange. I told her that we had paid to have it delivered and put together, so why is it on us to return it when we were delivered a product that didn't work properly. She put me hold and came back and told me that they could send someone to pick it up, but we would have to pay another fee!! REALLY!!!! I told her that this was unacceptable and that I would like to speak to a manager. I was put on hold. After 5 or 6 minutes of being on hold, I realized no manager was going to pick up the phone, so I hung up. I am still infuriated by this...we paid a fee and got a faulty item...how can it be our responsibility to get it back to them??? THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE...WE WILL BE GOING IN PERSON TO CONTINUE THIS COMPLAINT...IF TODAY WEREN'T A HOLIDAY, WE WOULD BE GOING TODAY!! Will never shop here again after today. Appliance floor manager would not sell floor models washer and dryer to me even at full value. Well you know what? Keep things in stock! I have to remodel an entire house because of the recent flood, and ALL Home Depos have just lost all of my business. Oh and just in case that not selling floor models is "business as usual", Lowe's on Millerville had the same issue but sold it to us anyways and for a reduced cost because it specifically WAS a flood model! The manager of Lowes also laughed at how dumb the manager at Home Depot was. read more

Over half the time I go to this store the 4 self check registers are closed. What is the point in having them. Stopped by today and grabbed 1 item. Spent 2 minutes getting what I needed then 10 minutes at one of the 2 open registers. read more
