I got a very cute fake leather jacket for over my dress and they have a ton of hair pin/clip options - and were very patient while I looked through them all :) In fact, the staff were the perfect level of attentiveness (i.e., left my mum and I to browse and chat until we had questions, and then were very helpful and made sure we were happy with our final choices). The only downside to the store is that it's super small, and therefore can feel a bit cramped when there are more than a couple of shoppers in it. So I'd recommend trying to go on a weekday morning if you can!

I even discussed with a salesperson what an amazing deal it was who concurred with me. At the till that price would quadruple. She didn't offer a hand or ask if I needed anything. In fact, she came out of the back when I came in, stood there for a moment, and then went immediately to the back again. I don't know what her deal was, but it was very unprofessional. I'll admit that they had some really nice shoes there, but I couldn't even believe the prices! They were waaay over-priced for what they were. I saw some flats there, which barely consisted of anything, that were still $115. Does that seem ridiculous to anyone else? Even the baby shoes were $60. Not only were the prices outrageous, but the selection wasn't that wide. They had one wall full of boots and such, and a tiny stand in the middle of the place, but that was it. For the size of the store, and the amount they charge, I would expect the selection to be greater. Two thumbs way down for this snooty, expensive, not-so-great shoe store.

I had a pair of leather boots that needed to be resoled, and all the shops in my area are no longer in business. I found Alberta Boot, it had good reviews, and it was not far from the hotel. I called, and I was assured that the work could be done within my time frame. So I brought my boots. They look like new! Not only do they have new soles and heel caps, but they are all polished up so pretty! The owner does beautiful work and is pleasant to deal with.

All they needed was a new rubber heel cap & new leather 1/2 sole. They took (stole) the stacked leather heels & replaced them with PLASTIC heels & 1/2 soles. Plastic ? wtf ?! As well they put ....a 5 inch gash...... in the vamp of the fine ostrich leather of one pair. That's right .. .. A 5 inch Gash....... Alberta Boots ''solution'' ? : was to offer Free Shipping on My NEXT pair I send to Alberta Boots for repair . The ''next pair'' will never happen. Someone told me they had a great selection on Christmas decorations so, I thought why not check…read morethem out? I'm not the crafty type, wish I was so I wouldn't have thought of this place for Christmas decor. First off the store is huge and they have everything. I thought they were only an arts and crafts kind of place, but I was so wrong. From painting supplies, to baking, organization baskets,to every kind of seasonal decoration you can think of, to artificial flowers and plants. A bit of everything. The staff were accommodating and I always found someone to steer me in the right direction. Plenty of parking in front too. It's not a store to make a quick trip too since you get side tracked with all the other aisles. I defiantly found Christmas decorations that I was after and plenty more. Will be back again.

Very nice employees and huge selection! The emails they try to sign you up for are mega annoying but they do have wicked coupons so I don't block them or unsubscribe. Whether you want frames or beads or baking/icing supplies...they have everything.
